Letter: Supervisors unfit to lead

I have respect for the law, however, I do not have respect for laws that do not exist. And to my knowledge, elected officials cannot make up laws just from the top of their heads, as Buster Johnson did. I thought it was bad enough that Mr. Sockwell wrote in and made accusations of racism and law-breaking on the part of Mr. Zanna.

Now Mr. Walker writes in and goes even further, making accusations of possible terrorist activity by classifying Mr. Zanna the same as Tim McVeigh. Making issue about Mr. Zanna being born in Italy, as if a naturalized citizen is less of a citizen than someone born here, was very disrespectful. I would bet that Mr. Zanna understands and knows the Constitution better than any of the supervisors.

Mr. Zanna had his First Amendment rights suppressed, while Sen. McCain was trolling for signatures on county property, which is a clear violation of the law. When Luca tried to stand up for his right of free speech, he was attacked and had wild and crazy accusations thrown at him.

I do not think that Luca spent seven years of his life becoming a U.S. citizen so he could be told to sit down and shut up. As far as I am concerned, the supervisors have proven that they are unfit to lead. They have embarrassed themselves and our great county. Maybe they should sit down and shut up. Maybe what Luca should do is sue them all for libel and being deprived his constitutional rights.

We The People have respect for the law. It is arrogant controlling bullies who try to pawn themselves off as politicians that we have no respect for.

NO, I am not dead. I am a rancher in Mohave County. I'm just killin time until time kills us...I had to vanish when Nixon was having many activists whacked. I was perceived as one after a few performances and some of my outspoken statements against the establishment, dictators. I predicted all of this in 1969. Make a grave for the unknown soldier...

No Donna, what Watson will do is ignore you. I've tried that approach... I didn't get even a automated response from Watson.

"We need our government cleaned up... ". And it has been that way since I came to K-town the day of the centennial parade. That County Manager in 1982 tried to teach my son to obey his lies. Needless to say, Mama did not back down! Still, voters have not cared who took out the trash as long as their trash cans were brought back clean and disinfected. Do you know what I mean?

Just Wondering
Is 3 < or > 5 ? It was a day or so ago, when I was persuaded that the five men representing Mohave County on the Board of Supervisors were not worth their pay. I worked with Mr. Al Wooley, knocking on doors, asking what my neighbors thought about this situation and would they sign the petition. The people voted out two political positions and reduced the Board of Supervisors to three representatives. It was a quick and easy way to say NO and save Mohave County tax-payers two supervisors' salaries. Is it time to gather registered voters together in a bipartism effort to form a citizens' committee to start team planning and to affirm that 5>3<5???

Nice letter Donald.

One main thing is......Mr. Zanna actually loves the Constitution and places a high value on liberty and justice for all, while these tyrants want free speech only for their cronies and do everything in their power to shut up any opposition.

Look up "tyrant" in Websters

When I moved here from Las Vegas, via Chicago, I had heard about corruption, but never heard any specifics. I am familiar with it in Las Vegas, NY and Chicago. Now I see how it works here.

It's not nice to be a public servant and violate Americans civil rights. The sleeping giant, the American people, are fed up with this behavior and we cannot stop. The process is in motion.

@ Donna

It's too late for apologies. They had their chance to apologize, but chose to insult, belittle, and slander instead. The freight train of freedom is in motion!

Don, once again you are so right on! Please run for office next time around. Not sure what you are making now, but my understanding is that the BOS makes great $ and has great benefits, and from what I have seen, they don't have to do one heck of a lot. It might give you more time with your family and let you enjoy life more. Once again, thanks for speaking up!

Scokwell's interest's are not with county and the resident's of the county. His interest's is for the city and the residence in the city. More specifically the business' in those citie's. There are 14,000 resident's in Golden Valley and there is no store. Why, because they want us to drive all the way to town to buy so that our purchases will pay for their taxes.

We need another supervisor to represent us.
