Kingman letters: What happened Nov. 14?

Why isn't the paper reporting on the crimes that happen?

On Nov. 14, 2012, at 10 a.m., we had four Sheriff's deputies at 4410 N. Van Nuys Road, Kingman. With weapons drawn they entered the residence after a half-hour standoff.

Two suspects were brought out and one arrested. Why?

Do we seniors have something to worry about?

Did this young man kill someone? Or assault, burglarize, rape, what?

We seniors shouldn't have to guess, or live in fear for not knowing what's going on in our neighborhood.

Note: With an assist from the MCSO's official spokeswoman, Trish Carter, the Miner reports all felony arrests. If the event described led to a felony arrest, Carter would have provided the information to the Miner.

Another place to look for what is going on is the Mohave County Website http://www.mohavecounty.us/
Put your cursor over the word Department and pick "Sheriff". On the left side of the screen you will see where it says "Press Release". You pick a day and check who was arrested. There is also a link there for Current Inmates in the jail.
