Reader Letter: Thanks to the residents of Golden Valley Fire District

To the residents of Golden Valley Fire District,

Rhonda Brooks, Mark Vanik and Steven Robinson want to express our heartfelt gratitude, and we are honored and humbled by your selection of us to be your representatives on the Golden Valley Fire District Board of Directors. We were excited to join incumbent Directors Jeff Morcomm and Jim Kanelos when our term of service began with the Dec. 12 meeting. We are pleased to be part of a team committed to sound fiscal management, improving the district's service to the community, and to plan for the future as Golden Valley grows. Jeff's, Jim's and Mark's experience will help Rhonda and Steve quickly get up to speed. We will bring our own experiences and knowledge to the board to add value and further develop the vision for Golden Valley.

Again, we say thank you and encourage everyone to attend the meetings and give your input, as we know that there are issues and challenges our community faces. Together we can improve our Golden Valley while keeping the concerns of the taxpayers uppermost in our minds. Please know you are welcome to speak to us at any time. Your voices matter to us.
