Kingman Letter: A dishonorable monument

I was reading the article, "Obama Demands Quick Action to Raise Debt Limit!"

It's a real shame that people who receive Social Security and people who receive veterans' checks have to suffer because of idiots who wear $3,000 Brooks Brothers suits and do not know how to run our government. All they know how to do is kiss babies and steal their lollypops.

I call this one giant monument to the stupidity of man!

“We would all like to be Ziva on NCIS, especially me, but we just are not.”

Personally I would not like to be Ziva (and you do know NCIS is a TV action show and not a documentary, right?).

As to your ridiculous comments about women in combat, I find it ironic that you use a Jewish character from a TV show to make your point when you obviously have no comprehension of the female combatants of the Israeli military that are some of the finest combat troops in the world.

Granted not all women are cut out to be hardened combat veterans, just as not all men (many who post here as an example) are cut out to be combat troops, however, if a woman desires to take on that challenge why should she be denied the right to do so? Oh wait, I forgot, in your world women have no rights. Sorry.

"If they ever are taken hostage, they will, of course be brutalized and raped by Islamists."

I have seen you post more than once how women can be as tough as men. Women took on the quest for equality, unfortunately you can't and shouldn't be able to pick and choose where it is applied. Men are often redeployed numerous times due to personnel shortages (because women couldn't deploy). I seen it to many times. You asked for it, you got it.

Speaking of human hostages, OKR, here is another stupid idea from this administration which will ultimately cost lives.

Allowing women into battle. If they ever are taken hostage, they will, of course be brutalized and raped by islamists. Hell, they brutalize their own wives and daughters, no biggee to them.

American men have the natural tendency to protect women so they will put themselves in harms way trying to save the women. This will needlessly cost us lives.

A woman Marine who has been on the frontlines in Afghanistan just wrote that this is a bad idea. She says she fell constantly, could not keep up with the men, had cramps and everything imaginable with her muscles, etc that the men did not have. In other words, she held them back, put all of their lives in danger.

Hello obama admin. Women are built differently then men. They have a nurturing nature. Men have a nature of protecting the women. And killing the bad guys. Girls have babies. Men are tough but would scream to high heaven during child birth. It's the way God made us. It has NOTHING to do with making anything equal. How damned STUPID is that?

We would all like to be Ziva on NCIS, especially me, but we just are not. If I am on the second floor of my house and it catches on fire, I do NOT want a woman firefighter coming to carry me down the ladder, thank you very much. I want the male fireman with muscles of steel.

“The president makes the decisions of what bills to pay. He can decide to send out the Social Security payments on time, or to cut other spending.”

Nope and I notice that although you spew this nonsense you do not back it up. Proof? Waiting.

@ Anson

The president makes the decisions of what bills to pay. He can decide to send out the Social Security payments on time, or to cut other spending.

Additionally, there is a provision in the SS law that states that Treasury Bills can be sold to cover SS payments.

There is also a law that says that the debt payments must be paid.

There is enough monthly receipts to pay both at this time. There is no reason to borrow any more money. Cuts need to be made in other areas plain and simple.

Continually borrowing money to pay bills and incurring an ever increasing debt doesn't make sense, for an individual or for a government.

Instead of continually stating that the facts that others post are incorrect, try researching things. Just because the facts don't agree with your ideology doesn't make them wrong, Just because you decree that something is incorrect doesn't make it so.

“It is up to Obama whether or not SS beneficiaries receive their checks if the debt limit is not raised.”

Nope, it is not. Where did you come up wit that bit of nonsense?

Couldn't agree more Eli. That stupid Republican-controlled House, responsible for tax and spending laws is really screwing us.

It is up to Obama whether or not SS beneficiaries receive their checks if the debt limit is not raised. There is easily enough money coming in each month to cover SS and also to pay interest on the debt, and they will be covered if Obama, (who takes $ 7 million vacations), decides to continue to use the monthly receipts to cover them.

Don't fall for his fear tactics. He is using the retired population as human hostages in his quest to financially ruin the country financially.

At this point, our country is not yet in the position where we need to borrow the money that we use to pay our debt interest with, but if the debt ceiling continues to be raised it won't be long before we get there.
