Ms Athens

“Conservatives couldn't care less about skin color. Duh!”

Empirical evidence and numerous news stories and photographs prove just the opposite to be true. As a point of fact many, many time you have brought the presidents race into these discussions.

“.. 8 million soon to lose health care they already have with their employers thanks to obamacare and then the biggee!!”

Only because some companies have decided to pay fines rather than insure their low-paid employees. Thos employees will then receive health care – in many cases much better care – through the exchanges that will be set up. Why don’t you ever discuss the whole story?

“ONE TRILLION A YEAR UNDER OBAMA AND NO CHANCE OF IT GOING DOWN ANY TIME SOON BECAUSE HE DOESN'T GIVE A BIG WOOP!”

Shouting accomplishes nothing, particularly when it is incorrect. The deficit has gone down steadily since Obama took office and will fall well below a trillion dollars this year. As usual your saying something does not make it true.

“Levin suggests all states ignore any rulings they are told to follow.”

Yes, that’s a good idea – follow the advice from some Right Wing Loon Shouting Head on the radio. Heck, he won’t have to deal with the myriad court cases and taxpayer funded lawsuits.

“… we also learned all his Cabinet was for arming Syrian rebels, obama said no –“

Actually not ALL of the cabinet supported sending arms to Syria. Try to be truthful. And why do you want us to get involved in yet another war? Parroting things heard spewed by Right Wing Loons is never a good thing to do.

Lee:
The Landmark Legal Assn, Mark Levin's group along with others recently got a ruling against the illegal appointment of three by obama when he simply declared the Senate closed down and did recess appointments.

He knew he would have problems getting these three thru regular channels so he simply ignored the law (only the Senate can declare the Senate in recess! They did not in this case!) and appointed them illegally.

They sit on a board to do with labor unions so touchy stuff and his big backers. To date, obama has simply snubbed the ruling and the three still are daily making labor rulings. Declared there illegally, a normal POTUS would have shut them down. Instead, he has ignored the ruling, HE IS THAT RUTHLESS!

Levin suggests all states ignore any rulings they are told to follow. Some have already started. Needs to be on a national basis.

There are numerous reasons obama should be impeached. This is but one. He does what he wants, when he wants, ignores the Constitution and all our laws. He simply does NOT care about our rule of law....as in immigration for instance.

On another note, during CIA Director hearings today, interesting how Brennan was for Enhanced Interrogation before he was opposed to it - opposed after he came on board with the obama admin. Usual apolitical, apparently not this time. What has come out loud and clear during two separate hearings today, Hillary Clinton is a liar concerning Benghazi and obama never even bothered calling Panetta concerning the ongoing Benghazi battle after one initial conversation.

Last, we also learned all his Cabinet was for arming Syrian rebels, obama said no - election approaching. 800,000 displaced citizens, 60,000 dead - Al Quada moving in. Very bad obama call.

Donna:

Your comment is soooo disgusting. The ONLY people ever bringing up race are you liberals. Conservatives couldn't care less about skin color. Duh!

To the real points. So you are FOR 7.9% unemployment, 48 MILLION on food stamps, the most people NOT in the work force in our history (this is a very big deal!), 8 million soon to lose health care they already have with their employers thanks to obamacare and then the biggee!!

17 TRILLION DOLLARS IN DEBT - ALL UNSUSTAINABLE!! ONE TRILLION A YEAR UNDER OBAMA AND NO CHANCE OF IT GOING DOWN ANY TIME SOON BECAUSE HE DOESN'T GIVE A BIG WOOP!

Go on and blather about skin color, a fact only YOU even cares about and continue ignoring the elephants sitting on your chest. When you have NO America left, where will you go then Donna? We WERE the last best hope on this earth but king obama has taken care of that.

And you are a teacher?

@Ano Ano

Your problem is that you see the situation in terms of what you don't have. That whole 99% thing is a fabrication of the liberals, trying to create division and unhappiness in the large group of Americans who find it easier to begrudge others for what they have, rather than work hard to achieve for themselves.

Conservatives, and some Republicans, appreciate what we accomplish for ourselves. We value the freedom and opportunities that are the foundation that this country is built upon that allow us to determine for ourselves what we can do to support ourselves.

Many of us don't spend our entire lives wishing that we could be wealthy and (to use a favorite word of the libs), "hating" people who are rich. If being rich is important to us we will do what ever we have to do to get an education in a field where the earning potential to become rich exists, then put in the hours and effort it takes to work our way up the ladder to achieve monetary success.

Others of us may choose more modest economical paths. We may value service to others, or having more of a family life, and we choose our occupations accordingly.

The point is that we take care of our selves and we value a country where we are allowed to make that decision for ourselves.

That whole envy and bitterness at others is your bag, not ours.

Obama is a great man and a good president. You would probably support his policies if he weren't black and democratic. I am disgusted by the overt racism and irrational diatribes people in this area constantly revel in when discussing Obama!

I see the funny bumper stickers on the old worn out autos around town saying various things but with one usual theme how they dislike Obama, from demanding his defeat to some less than nice things, do these folks have any dignity, do they really think their dream of being in that 2% wanna-be lottery is going to come true? How one can be a republican and be in the middle class at best and many I see in Kingman are obviously in the lower class of poor getting some ego boost imagining they one day will hit that 2% lottery! Guess whining about Obama will be a long next 4 years for some!

weird thing about ol' George III - Lords North, Germain, and Sandwich all advised him against a war with American colonists, and King George himself stated that Britain could not hold onto the colonies (something about the impossibility of holding New England). Perhaps if Wilburforce had come upon the scene a decade earlier.....(it took a William Wilburforce to lead the ultimately-successful English abolition of slavery in the years after America's Revolutionary War)

@Lee

By "King George," are you referring to George Bush? If so, then don't worry. He's gone now. As for Obama, he'll be gone in a few years too. Just in case you're new to the U.S., it's the American tradition to accept the results of a free election and then to be sure to vote in the next one if you want to make a change.

Of course, we aren't always happy with election results, but I think most of us would still prefer free elections to the system in places like Somalia, where power is taken by the warlords with the biggest guns.

@ Lee Fluaitt

Well 2014 election is still on the calendar, assuming King Obama hasn't suspended elections, yet! So, genuine Americans had better wise up and put the Republican candidates into office to oppose the King!!

I'm sure by that time, the true King Obama will be obvious to even AN and others, hereon.

What's the plan?

My guess is that the plan for the next four years for those who think this way will be to write letters to the editor or make comments on blogs that are filled with thinly veiled empty threats and insipid talk of guns, religious liberty, and freedumb being taken away. Oh and lots of historic revisionism and comparisons of President Obama to kings, czars, and dead dictators.

Why should the next four years of the Obama presidency be any different from the last four?

We "true Americans" support President Obama while the rest of you continue to whine.

I can come up with some very colorful suggestions but they would probably offend some of the thin skin types. Voting is not the answer as we now see that a politician is willing to buy votes with policy changes. I am real curious tho as to how much personal freedom can be taken from citizens before violence against the government erupts. A study I read last year found that Americans are the worst at not believing something can happen till it does and are the least prepared.

Thanks Lee for such a well thought out letter. But I have to ask what's this we crap white man you had nothing to do with it pal. If you think that President Obama is a king its because Fox noise didn't get the news out that he won an election fair and square by 5 million votes. Fair and square. You just can't handle the truth that America doesn't agree with your party. So keep up the good work you and your tea friends will get the next Democrat elected as well. Listen real carefully Bobby Jingle is talking to you Lee.
