Letter of thanks: Shawn Byrne, KAHS Athletic Director

Kingman Academy High School's Tigers have plenty to be proud of, with six CAA state championships and two runner-ups over the past school year.

All the competing and traveling the Tigers did would not have been possible without the support and donations from those in the great city of Kingman. Those who assisted with time, money or opportunities given to raise money, are considered heroes by the KAHS athletic department.

Special thanks to West Coast Netting, Papa Johns, Arby's, Pesty Pest Control, The Hoagie Hut, KFC, Wash Me!, Mr. D'z, Frozen Yogurt Island, KRMC, Denny's at the Triple J truck stop, Colorado River Ford, Kingman Co. Steak House, Pawn World, Safeway, Arizona Diamondbacks, Elite Fundraising, Glass Chiropractic, Karen Fogg and the Kingman Parks and Recreation Department and Cerbat Cliffs Golf Course. Additionally, Rebel Oil, Bulldog Disposal, Transco Industries, Acton Welding, Mercater Minerals, Freiday Construction, FLSmidth Dorr Oliver, CTI and ME elecmetal were instrumental to our program.

Personal thanks to Dustin Brisco, Rosalba and Jerry Homer Jr., Keith Hill and the Kingman Cobras Pop Warner program, Mark Fawcett, Dale Lohone, David Scroggins, Mike Nelson, Harry Hoyler and KKAY Productions, Kingman Fire Department, Kingman Police Department, River Medical, Ken Leader, Mike Seybert, Mike Bradley, Macrae Glass, Hollie Lowe, Kip Crowl, and Rodney Haas and the staff at the Miner.

The Tiger Pride Booster Club was outstanding in assisting our student athletes to be ready to compete.

The seasons could not have happened without all of our volunteer assistant coaches. Thank you to Wally Mueller, Vito Adragna, Bill McCord, Mike Dalessandro, Tad Levandowski, Michael Perrine, Josh Lohone, Dale Lohone, Beth Bond, Tim Pena, Kiley Rogers, Tap Tomlinson, Marty Huggins and Levi Pitts.

To all the parents, families and friends of our student athletes, your assistance with your tax credits went a long way.

If there is anyone forgotten, we apologize and thank you for all that you did for the Tigers.

We look forward to working with everyone again during the 2013-2014 seasons, the inaugural year for KAHS as members in the Arizona Interscholastic Association.

Shawn Byrne

KAHS Athletic Director
