Guest Column: Government: The real wolf at our doors
Luca Zanna
Golden Valley Resident

It is almost funny, if it was not so serious, to read in the Kingman Daily Miner comments and letters to the editor from people in other states, most of them living in big cities, telling us what we should be doing in Arizona and in our rural Mohave County regarding the re-introduction of the Mexican gray wolves.

I have four words for you: Mind your own business.

I personally, like many of the people who live in the rural part of Mohave County, am not afraid of the wolves, like we are not afraid of any other wild animal if we are allowed to use our basic natural rights of self-defense and defense of property. That includes our domestic animals that are for many part of our family and way of life.

What I am afraid of is the federal government taking more control of our lives under the excuse of the "wolves" or any wild animal under the Endangered Species Act.

Are you aware that you cannot kill a wolf protected by the Endangered Species Act in almost any circumstance? You are deprived of your basic individual constitutional right of protection of private property, facing the threat of a $100,000 fine and mandatory prison sentence for killing an endangered wolf killing one's livestock?

Imagine if that was your dog, your cat, or your cattle - that means your bread and butter.

If you live in the city, please think for a moment and put yourself in our shoes. We live in the country and off the land. Many of us have a ranch or farm, already overregulated by the FDA, EPA and other unconstitutional federal agencies.

Now, on our private property, we are surrounded by a new predator, released intentionally by the federal government and protected under the Endangered Species Act. That means, in plain English, that we cannot protect our animals (that means my livelihood) and our property. Our land will be worthless. We must keep paying property taxes that soon we cannot afford anymore.

Our two options are: Sell for pennies on the dollar and move to a city, or fight back and stand the line.

I opt for No. 2.

All this wonderful feel-good, eco-green fascism is happening because of the implementation of the Agenda 21 under the socialistic United Nations. Under this treaty, their goal is to relocate humanity to big cities and control all the natural resources, making it impossible for private citizens to own property. Simple as that.

If you see the map of Agenda 21 (please Google it), Mohave County is stuck in the middle of it.

The only hope we have is to educate each other about these issues. Only after enough individuals in our community, led by our state and county representatives and our sheriff, are aware of the real motivation of these federal impositions will we be able to reach a critical mass and stand against these federal thugs and stop them at our county's and state's gate.

It is not about the wolves. It is about federal control over our state, county and private property.

It is about global government and the loss of our sovereignty.

“Do a search for Agenda 21 and learn about it.”

Most of us already did months ago, were you sleeping? Here, I’ll repeat what I said months ago.

Agenda 21 is a non-binding, voluntarily implemented action plan of the United Nations. Implementation by member states remains essentially voluntary and its adoption has varied.

The United States is a signatory country to Agenda 21, but because Agenda 21 is not a treaty, the Senate was unable to hold a formal debate or vote on it. It is therefore not considered to be law under Article VI of the U.S. Constitution.

So as you can see, if our Representatives cannot even support or handle their own jobs here in the U.S., what makes everyone think they would support something proposed by the United Nations? Get a clue people.

@ Carol S "As an example, there will come a time when you cannot go from Kingman to Havasu ...Agenda 21. Restriction of our movements and our individual choices, all part of the plan.
Seems to me that "plan" is being implemented simultaneously by varying methods anyway. One obvious method is the rich becoming richer and taking more away from the poor. There are many more poor now, and their access to other areas - freedom of movement - is more restricted due to costs of vehicle gas, repair, insurance, and other important ongoing costs such as groceries, utilities, entertainment, etc. Maybe this ONE problem could be resolved for the citizens by the hungry poor eating from the
increased numbers of the newly reintroduced wolves. Alternatively, maybe the problem could be solved for the government by the increased numbers of the newly reintroduced wolves eating the hungry poor? Either way, hungry people or hungry wolves will run out of each other and have to resort to eating ALPO.

"I just hope that before his second term ends you people can admit that the president was born here in the USA Gee that's more than I can say for Teddy Cruse."

At least most of us "you people" know how to spell Ted CRUZ correctly. lol

"I believe I read it was by 62 percent."

Cite the actual poll and who conducted it so we can check it out. This could be up there with the claim that you "know" most of the people commenting at KDM support wolf reintroduction. And considering your track record on accuracy of "facts", you really don't expect anyone to take your word on something just because you say you "know" it, do you?

"even if your from the terrible place called California it is your business..."

And it adds to your mostly BS madeup numbers of wolf supporters.

LOL

I totally concur with Luca's comments. I've always appreciated Mohave County for its independent mind set - which is why I live here in Hackberry.

Over a dozen years ago I was at a conference where I heard a woman speak about the things planned for us: Agenda 21. I had never heard of it before and thought she was a kookaboo. Really! So I came home and researched it. I was appalled!

These past few years I see those very same things being done unto us. Bit by Bit. "Incrementalism" as they knew they would not get away with doing all of it at once. Chipping away at our freedoms piece by piece.

I love wolves and all other of nature's critters. But part of Agenda 21 is that animals have more rights than humans have. As an example, there will come a time when you cannot go from Kingman to Havasu because you cannot disturb a wildlife "corridor" that crosses your way. Agenda 21. Restriction of our movements and our individual choices, all part of the plan. Do a search for Agenda 21 and learn about it.

"Where a national identity card is required?

Sounds familiar. Since the relevent column has been removed from your blog I would have to check the archives. But isn't this something that was on your ridiculous leftist wish list for voting?

“Sounds like things a “liberal” would demand to me.”

It certainly does sound like something that a lefti....er.....libera...er...."progressive" would long for. And your desire for guns being almost totally banned, compulsory voting, and fed govt I.D. Cards, is, no doubt, strong.

Capt. Nice said:

"Hopefully we will be like Australia and get fed up and bring back the conservatives or at least people with a brain."

Conservatives won in Australia, in large part, over Australians anger over the upcoming carbon tax, which the new conservative govt. will attempt to repeal.

Search "australia's new govt. vows to repeal carbon tax" and you will find the non-"rightie" ABC News story on it, as well as many other sources.

Next they can tackle the undemocratic compusory voting law. Some people there now vote in such a way that their vote is not counted, and they can still avoid the govt. fine.

Some may think it far-fetched that the government would like a reason to step in to control and confiscate owned property and lands. It is not.

It is the rule and not the exception whenever well-meaning citizens and eco-Nazis allow or force the introduction of a protected species.

It’s no coincidence that people and States lose property rights and uses EVERY TIME any “rare” species is sought out and “found” on someone’s land or introduced to public lands.

There is no moral or biological need to introduce wolves in Mohave County. There is no eco-need. No infestation of deer or vermin. If so, sell more hunting licenses.

As aforementioned it’s an eco-governmental way to get federal jurisprudence and control of land use and ownership.

It’s merely a vehicle to take away Arizona’s ownership and control of lands to subvert to federal uses. And the feds will do with it what they want.

This is just another avenue working in conjunction with legislation to take more land from states.

The feds aren’t satisfied with the 30% of land they’ve grabbed.

If an old white conservative was President right now, you’d agree with us.

A.N.
Hopefully now that Australia has a new boss some of these liberal demands will be overturned.
After their brilliant gun control and the seizure of guns, crime has gone up 40%.
Since when is having an identity card to vote a liberal idea...you folks are adamantly against having to prove your identity. Maybe Australia got tired of liberals voting as many times as they want.

I just hope that before his second term ends you people can admit that the president was born here in the USA Gee that's more than I can say for Teddy Cruse . So just for the record even if your from the terrible place called California it is your business because this is one country and its all of our business.

Good article Luca.

Although some may think it far-fetched that the government would like a reason to step in to control and confiscate owned property and lands in general, it is not.

It is the rule and not the exception whenever well-meaning citizens and eco-Nazis allow or force the introduction of a protected species.

I used to think it was coincidence. But people lose their personal and property rights EVERY TIME any “rare” species is sought out and “found” on someone’s land or introduced to public lands. That is NO COINCIDENCE.

But fools will follow anyone, thing or idea that may give them a warm fuzzy, justify bragging to their sheep like friends or to finally earn the right to put that animal rights bumper sticker on their cars.

As for me. Well… if wolves eat all my game animals and the wolves, they aren’t too wormy, I reckon I can figure a way to make them tasty.

One thing I know, wolves and environmentalist will never find my land to their taste. But I can adjust my taste to anything except environmentalists.

Vegans always taste kinda funny.

Pass the ribs please…

Excellent letter, Luca! Thank you. Hope that some people will realized what this Administration wants to do to our country.

Like you and your family, many of us have moved to where we like it, because of the surroundings, available shopping, etc. So we ask that the Feds stay out of our lives!
Agenda 21 is just plain "control" of all of us, with a one world government! God help us!

You mean where weapons are registered and controlled? Where voting is a requirement and people are fined for failure to do their civic duty? Where a national identity card is required? Sounds like things a “liberal” would demand to me.

Dear Anson's nephew, or whatever your real name is. I mind my business. I live in Mohave County and I don't go to tell people from other states or counties how to live their lives. I see that you could not address any of my points of my letter, but just diverting on personal attack. A classic.

Luca
Excellant letter and I wish I could have written such a great article.
Your right, what our government wants (the left) is for everyone to live in big cities where we are easily controled and everywhere else is their personal play ground.
It amazes me is how the government has brain washed so many people to do their dirty work.
Hopefully we will be like Australia and get fed up and bring back the conservatives or at least people with a brain.

Although some conspiracy theories have made me stop and think and some were quit a debate battle some years ago in my political science classes, I can't follow this one, seems a little too far fetched.
