Letter: Right back at ya, senator

This is my two-cent position on the Bundy story and the federal government.

When we find out that the BLM chief is the former sidekick of Sen. Harry Reid, that Reid's son is the lobbyist for the Chinacom Corporation that will benefit from the Bundy's five generations of land, when we see that the federal judge is just another appointed puppet serving the corporate system - the reality is that they are using the "law" to enslave us. We the People are the final authority. The Declaration of Independence should be read every other week, in my opinion. We are occupied by international corporations and private bankers who use our government to control us and enslave us.

"That whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness. Well, LOL, I did and as usual you posted something that has no actual basis in fact – to wit, no one was indicted, fined, jailed or convicted of any “voter fraud” in either Virginia or Maryland. If these “164 people” were actually guilty don’t you think there would have been indictments?


Let's see what the actual facts present. Oh wait, the actual facts exist nowhere except for some spurious, unsubstantiated trash on a right wing website operated by the right wing Virginia Voters Alliance (funded through a Koch Bros shell outfit).


So, would you like to retract or be more accurate in your comment?

Reading your comment a person unfamiliar with leftist tricks would conclude that Ms. Athens had actually used the word blackguard when you know she did not. I looked, the word is nowhere in her comments. So your tactic is that since you cannot argue with what she said, you decided to just lie and make up something she never actually said.

You made sure to provide complete definitions of the word in order to paint her as being a racist.

You began your comment by asking "do you know who the black guard was?" Then you end your comment by saying "do some authentic research...". I wonder why you did not do your own research if you were curious what the guards name was?

I am sure that to a party sock puppet any Black who would dare to stray from the democrat party plantation "deserves to be hated". They just don't understand how much better Blacks are doing since obama took office. Oh wait, as a group they are much worse off. lol

By cross checking voter lists it was found thaf 164 people voted in the 2012 election in both states.
Many more than that were registered to vote in both states, but so far only the 164 have been discovered.

Now you have all the "details" you need to actually look it up yourself. And much more detail than you deserve since it more detail and source than you provide for most of your claims.

Linda, do you know who the black guard was? Do you know what a blackguard is? Check the definition: Merriam Webster says it's a rude or dishonest man a man who deserves to be hated. Also, a group of menial workers in the kitchen of a large household, the servants of an army, camp followers. Do some authentic research before opening mouth or flexing your fingers on the keyboard.

Bundy’s “black guard?” The guy who is being paid by the crook and if he speaks out against him will be fired? Remember plantations had “Old Retainers” who sold out their fellow slaves for better living conditions.

A grand tip of the hat to two great states, ones obama likes to refer to as states with people there still clinging to their guns and Bibles.

Missouri and Oklahoma, both of which let it be known they had no desire to have either Mooochelle Obama or Eric Holder speak at graduations in the two states. So vocal were they, one man stating Holder should be being impeached, not speaking at a graduation, both cancelled out.

To understand how incredibly unamerican Holder is, you have to be aware, this is the Attorney General of the United States SUING 22 states because those states are asking for a picture ID when you go vote to ensure you are who you say you are and to try to plug a hole in the massive voter fraud under this aministration.

A picture ID, something everyone has and for those who do not, is easily available and ridiculous to say they cannot provide it.

We just had another incident where one state discovered 40,000 voters exactly matched the ID's of 40,000 in another state.

Coincidence they all had the exact same information? I'm going to take a leap and say NO.

Is that what you call the 52 ranchers whom the BLM has driven from their lands by tightening the screws on how many head of cattle they can graze, until their businesses could not be profitably run? (Bundy is the only one left, and is refusing to be run off) Is that what you would call an American citizen and military veteran who does not appreciate police crime (and that is not to even mention the now-well-known crimes of federal agencies like the NSA)? Maybe you are referring to the militias gathered at Bundy's ranch. I don't think they're crazy, but I wish that this nation's court system wasn't so corrupt (where all the constitutional scholars when you need them?), so that the poor or outnumbered citizen could get redress. Unaccountable militias are a last resort at best. With all the crimes & abuses of which this government is guilty nowadays, someone would have to go very far in their outrage before I would call them crazy or anti-American.

I will again point out, Mr. Bundy's black guard was on CNN tonight saying he was in no way offended by Bundy's remarks, he was no racist, and the guard would take a bullet for him. He was a younger black man, very bright, explained as did I, that Bundy was basically saying, which plantation is worse, the ones the slaves were on or the plantation the liberals have blacks back on. 50% unemployment for young blacks, girls pregnant with no fathers around, no family structure. And under obama, NO JOBS.

One day you might see the real crooks here - Harry and Rory Reid, Clinton employees the Magaziners involved in the Paiute wind panel plant whose groundbreaking was two weeks ago, and then the 50+ wind/solar/geothermal plants planned for the entire Gold Butte area , INCLUDING Bundy's ranch, CA and AZ and Bundy the one holdout while they, lying thru their teeth, bought every other rancher out. One, on TV said he was threatened by the BLM, sold for less than one years pay.

@AN.....I have to say that I am re-evaluating this story day-to-day as facts emerge. Just for the heck of it, I am currently in the middle of a three-hour YouTube video on the Waco incident from 1993. One presenter in the video is a 16-year FBI veteran (as of 1993) who made the medical determination as to how each Branch Davidian and ATF person died there. The amount of official lying and excesses is unbearable. It is just this very sort of thing which a thinking person should bring to bear upon any confrontation between citizens and government in this country nowadays. So Bundy lied. My, my. We all got lied to when they wanted us for the Vietnam War, which cost our dollar the gold standard backing (quite a bit more than Bundy owes). So I'll retain skepticism towards the government in this case.

Let's see...I have repeatedly warned the kids across the street that they need to keep their toys, balls, and dog out of my yard. If a ball accidentally gets kicked in, a toy gets dropped, or the dog runs over, then they need to remove them right away. Since those conversations, I have picked up and thrown away several balls and toys. If I could catch the dog, I'd deliver him to the Shelter and inform them where he is.

These aren't toddlers, they are 9-10 yrs old. They have no respect for others rights, just as Bundy doesn't.

Personally, I think the Gov should have shot all the cattle, then reduced the amount owed proportionally. Or maybe not...he had plenty of warning. The guy owns a helicopter (at least I saw a pic of him standing in front of one in a barn), he's not some poor little sharecropper barely scratching by.

Cliven Bundy apologized to Niger Innis during a 1-hour telephone conversation yesterday. Innis is running in the 4th Congressional District representing Bunkerville, and had met Bundy on several occasions during the standoff. Innis characterized Bundy's remarks as a badly-worded expression of concern for America's inner cities. Look, Bundy isn't running for U.S. ambassador to South Africa. He placed the relevant monies into escrow, payable to the State of Nevada (there, Bob Moore - Bundy is not living high on our tax dollars). He seems to be an honourable man acting out his principles. Now people can decide whether they agree or not - based, hopefully, upon the facts relevant to the case. (I haven't run up there to participate, but from personal experience of blatant government crime, I am following the story with interest)

Anyone surprised? GOP’ers are swiftly backtracking on their support of Nevada anti-government rancher Cliven Bundy after he was caught making racially-inflammatory remarks about African-Americans.

In his tirade last Saturday Bundy was recorded saying, “Negroes abort their young children, they put their young men in jail, because they never learned how to pick cotton.” During his rambling rant Bundy said he remembered driving past a public-housing project in North Las Vegas, which he called a “government house” with “always at least a half a dozen people sitting on the porch with nothing to do.”


So Cliven Bundy is not only a crook who despises our nation, refuses to follow its laws, makes false claims about land that belongs to the American people, supports fools who set up sniper nests and point high-powered weapons at federal offices, but is also a bigot.

Zanna, of all the governments in the world that needs to have a revolution to overthrow the government, the United States is at the bottom of that list. For all our faults we still stand as a gleaming monument to individual freedom and liberty. Italy needs that sort of revolution a thousand times more than this nation.

Rather than taking the words of our founders and twisting them against the principles they stand for, wouldn't working within the system and rationally supporting politicians who felt as you do be a better approach. All your speeches have a distastable flavor of inciting to an armed revolution about them. Is that any way to behave in your adopted country? Or is it just that you're in thrall to your new found freedom to do so?

It is no surprise Cliven Bundy’s claims have proven to be a patchwork of lies.

In an apocryphal tale Bundy told of his ancestral rights, "I've lived my lifetime here. My forefathers have been up and down the Virgin Valley here ever since 1877. All these rights that I claim, have been created through pre-emptive rights..."

Oops! Clark County property records show Cliven Bundy's parents moved from Arizona and bought the 160 acre ranch in 1948. Cliven was born in 1946. Water rights were also transferred, but only to the ranch, not the federally managed land surrounding it. Court records show Bundy cattle didn't begin grazing on that land until 1954.

Bundy, "My rights are before the BLM even existed, but my rights are created by beneficial use. Beneficial use means we created the forage and the water from the time the very first pioneers come here." The BLM was created in 1946.

The problem with your theory is that (a) the land for the project is no where near the Bundy/BLM land and that (b) the deal fell apart in 2013. Please research before posting it. Otherwise you don't look very credible.

Mr. Zanna we have been controlled by corps. since someone invented corporations. That was the whole idea. Why should I take responsibility when I can simply say it was a corporate decision. Now corporations are people too. Thanks to your friends on the supreme court they have a right to free speech, they just have a bigger right than you do because they have a lot more money. Yeah that's what America was built on. That's why we send our kids to war. So the corps can have free speech. When do they go to war? Most of them don't even pay taxes. The info is out there if you look somewhere besides Fox. Mr. Zanna
