Kingman Letter: Shopping with Ron and Melissa

I shop at the same store as Melissa Havatone. She always picks the "sour grapes." That is just the way some people are. I have seen Ron Walker shopping there too.

In about two weeks we will have a bigger and hopefully better BOS. There will be at least three new faces on that Board. To act on the recommendations of two people who are leaving office amid controversy would not be a wise idea.

Let Ms. Cox make her own assessment of the department she will run for the next four years. Let the new Board act on her observations. To act now will leave a bad taste in a lot of voters' mouths.

Article comment by: Can we get the facts on those

I am so tired of only reading one sided opinions in this newspaper. The fact is, the written reprimand WAS warranted and was not for stupid accusations. Any business owner or manager would do the same if one of their employees of over 15 years had 2 pages of errors in a four month period. Not to mention wasting paid time writing "coded" emails (yes, something we did when we were 8 years old) during working hours. The only thing Havatone did was to continue her business practice of holding employees accountable for their job performance. A job that each of them are paid over $10 an hour for. She did not back down and kept her moral standards to the taxpayers. She was a business woman who did not let politics stop her from doing what was right. Now the county has gone back to the employees running the office. Will it ever change? Not if they continue to have their way!

Talk about sour grapes, Havatone cannot even bow out gracefully. I understand she waited for an employee (she was constantly harassing) to come back to work after she was out on FMLA to give a written reprimand which had stupid accusations listed on it. She is such a sore loser, if anyone is planning on hiring this women for any reason at all please go back into the Daily Miner archives and review her history. Keep in mind people, this woman intends to run for Treasurer again next Term. Hope we are all alert on that one.

Melissa, have you been taught THE GOLDEN RULE? It goes like this...Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. In other words, if you continue to treat others badly, doing cruel acts and generally just trying to harm others for no reason, some way, some how this will come back to you someday. Its also refered to as Karma. I truely hope you have learned some lessons the last four years and can make the needed changes in yourself and maybe you can find some happiness. Maybe find a new "passion" that doesn't involve making others miserable. You were given power and you abused people with it. You failed the test I am sure.
