Kingman native George Grantham (1900-1954), Played 12 season in the Major League Baseball including stops with the Chicago Cubs, Pittsburgh Pirates, Cincinnati Reds and the New York Giants. Thank you for your article about home town boy George Grantham; it was fascinating. I've loved baseball all of my life. Played when I was a kid, coached my sons little league and collected baseballs cards along the way. So I really enjoyed reading his story.
Not everyone delves into the players that far back in baseball, but the story of our own hometown player is something to be mighty proud of!
