Letter: Help USPS stamp out hunger

While we are making plans for Mother's Day, I'd just like to remind everyone of their chance to make a big difference for people in need on the day before - Saturday, May 11. That is the day for the 21st Annual Letter Carrier Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.

Taking part in the food drive is easy. Just leave your donation in a bag next to your mailbox and your letter carrier will do the rest. Food collected in Kingman will be delivered to the Kingman Area Food Bank.

If possible, please donate - the need is so great and you will be helping out so many people. Thank you.

Connie Stone

“No the parasites are people like you who like to condemn the right for their pettiness but the right has been proven to be the most generous with tips and hand outs to the poor.”

Ahh, yes, a typical rightie who thinks pettiness is confined to money. Very sad – but not surprising.

Have you noticed that your hero's vice president Biden's charitable contributions plus how left wing teachers are among the worst as far as tipping and contributions to the poor, so don't call the right petty when in your own party the hypocrisy stands out like a sore thumb.

“I already pay 30% in taxes…”

Then you obviously have the money to assist those in need. Oh wait, I forgot, righties ALWAYS look upon the disadvantaged as – according to Frankie – parasites who should be swept from the face of the earth. Good Christian values, Wes.

I would like to say I am surprised by the pettiness that shows up here – but sadly that is never the case.

Why is anybody hungry in America? It seems as if everybody is on some sort of assistance, welfare, foodstamps. etc. I already pay 30% in taxes and it seems every organization keeps asking for more.
When is America going to become self sufficent and be able to take care of themselves?
