The First Philippine Independence Day Committee would like to extend our profound gratitude to your staff and newspaper, Kingman Daily Miner, for inclusion and exposure of our event in your newspaper.
We also extend our gratitude to all our supporters as Pastors Dan and Debbie Briles, Douglas and Debbie Briles, Jerry of Kingman Home Realty, Paul Bucks, Jim and Joy Barone, Audrey and Chris Pike, Albe Pulver, Bernard and Pilar Stubbs, David and Bernadette Kemp, Wesley and Ligaya Giron, Christ Jewel Ministry, Kingman Philippine Community Inc., Flor Alcantara-Reyes of COME Ministry, Rowena and Robert Howe, Pablita Bundang, Suellen Stewart, MIkel Weisser and Lydia Sheppeard, Marylou Smith, Jeanneffer and Jeanna Paulsen, Netanya Paulsen, Angie Berg, Vandy Mahoney, Cristeta McKinsey, Rita McNeil, Helen Tobias and to all who made possible this historic festivity as we had only 22 days to prepare. However, we were able to materialize our vision of sharing the Filipino customs and tradition with the Kingman community.
The United States of America and the Philippines have been allies, in time of peace and war, for decades.

Congratulations to our Filipino awardees 2013 for their dedicated service to the Kingman community as Angie Berg, Nelly Ford, Armi Davies, Susie Duranceau, Wesley Giron, Rev. Blessie Potokar, Joan Rama, Lynne Steiger, Charito Tarr, Mamerta Turner, and Marie Williams.

I would also think there should be a huge thank you to the Potakar family for the purchase of the food, for Blessi doing a traditional dance, for keeping the festivities going. They did a wonderful job hosting!
