Last night I had the pleasure of attending a performance of "Almost Crazy," directed by Anna Jennings. It was a first production of the Kingman Acting Company, which honored the community by performing free in cool, shady Metcalfe Park.
The theater artists, all either in or enroute to college, did a great job engaging the audience with four short productions, each different but all entertaining. Even the trains cooperated with minimal interruption! A light breeze complimented the shade. Watch for future productions of this group. Their love of theater was obvious; the audience reflected Kingman's need and appreciation of live entertainment.
As a board member of the Sounds of Kingman, which presents live music at Metcalfe Park, I was thrilled to see the park utilized by the Kingman Acting Company.
Thank you Anna Jennings, Spencer Vandevier, Angela Williams, Matt Jennings, Raquel Williams, Kevan Grenda and Cherry Niel. Great job!
