Letter: I will remember

They are gone, people cried. People wept because they died.

The elite first responders protecting people and Arizona land, fighting a wildfire as only first responders can.

When I heard the fire took them, I cried with so much despair. We lost 19 brave souls, now in God's care.

Husbands, lovers, parents and sons. They bonded together and now are one. Guardian angels in our hearts, they will never be gone.

Many brave souls have gone before them. Remember them, too. They are in heaven comforting anyone you ever knew.

As with most people, we didn't know them personally. As Americans though, we bonded - and that's the key.

As Americans we celebrate their lives. We hope the families will heal after this strife.

I pray for healing. I will remember.
