Letter: Calling all independents

To all you Independent voters, I'm Lee Davies, 1st Vice-Chairman of the party. We will be having rallies soon in Kingman, Bullhead City and Lake Havasu.

We want to get all the petitions signed that we can so you can vote in the primary to give you another slate of your favorite candidates, not ours...yours.

We do need your help, so call us or email us if you want to help. Azindependentparty@yahoo.com or call me at (928) 714-8098.

Lee Davies

@Capt

"Evidently you are a bit more than an independent with your name calling...I would guess you as a name calling liberal."

It always makes me chuckle when the one who starts the name calling and labeling accuses others of doing it while trying to insult them.

Here are some fallacies you posted...

One, people didn't like Willie Mittens because he outsourced jobs and hid his money. Had nothing to do with religion, only to you.

Obama, while being an ineffective President, is NOT Muslim. And btw, why is it OK for Willie Mittens to be rich and not the other goob?

@ Cap't Nice. You say "Not Again' Must be a Liberal because of his or her name calling. And you do not do any name calling? I rest my case.

Stick with the same two parties and you will get the same thing we have now.
People need to vote for who follows the constitution not a party. Romney agreed with every thing Obama was doing, he would be doing the same things Obama is doing.
Each of the two parties have been in power and both have just made things worse.
I think we will not have another election. This country will have fallen by then. We will have a dictator or be owned By China or Russia or both. War in this country is coming very soon. History is about to repeat it self once again.

“Mr. Romney would have made a much better president than what we have now. You people who put him down because he has lots of money or because of his religion slay me.”

Actually Romney failed because he is an elitist who despises nearly fifty percent of the people in this nation. He lost because he is a sleaze who put American workers out on the street while stealing their pension funds and sending American jobs to COMMUNIST CHINA. He lost because he hides his money off-shore in the Cayman Islands, Bermuda, Switzerland and Ireland so that it will not benefit America. He lost because he refused to disclose his tax returns as his father had. He lost because the American people could see through the façade of the “emperor with no clothes.”

His religion was of no concern to anyone except the hard-core small “C” Christians who equate it with being a cult. One of the most venomous Romney religion haters here is also one of the biggest Obama haters.

Romney showed his true colors when, after losing, he bought a very expensive foreign made vehicle instead of one manufactured in America by American workers.

Article comment by: THE TEA PARTY IS ON KOCH

When the republican party can once again stand on their own two feet, I will be there. What you have now is a party who will not focus on the economy, likes to complain and obstruct and is wearing the tea party muzzle and leash. Right now, the republican brand is not attractive.

"Evidently you are a bit more than an independent with your name calling...I would guess you as a name calling liberal."

So me calling Romney for what he is you classify as name calling?

"Mr. Romney would have made a much better president than what we have now."

We will never know, thus the name "Myth", because that is all he will ever be. You would of thought the first time Myth got defeated it would of gave him a clue as to how he would come out on a second attempt. Myth lost "TWICE", deal with it! I still suspect you and LA are one in the same.

Evidently you are a bit more than an independent with your name calling...I would guess you as a name calling liberal.
Mr. Romney would have made a much better president than what we have now. You people who put him down because he has lots of money or because of his religion slay me.
You will vote for Hillary and she has taken the tax payers for millions plus obummer is getting stinking rich plus he is a muslim.
What hypocrites the bunch of you are.
You voted in a President that no one knew nothing about and he sealed up everything to where you don't know anything to this day and you voted for the bum twice. Wow...what experts you folks are!!
I vote for a party yes, but I vote the way the party thinks and the GOP is closer to my way of thinking even though I wish they were more to the right.
I have never voted for anyone from the left and unless he or she installs a new brain I probably never will.

"To me a independent is nothing more that a fence walker and votes for the most popular instead of the best candidate.
If an Independent leans Republican he should support his party and vice versa. I think the reason we have the bum we have in office now is because of Independents and Libertarians who think they are so much smarter than anyone in the GOP."

Yeah that's why Myth didn't win! So what your telling me is you vote for the right wing candidate even if all their ideas are bad. Boy that is really a good way to fix the economy! NOT! I'm thinking you right wingers will never get over the fact that Myth was a bad candidate with bad ideas, and no respect for anyone earning less than him.

Mr. Davies
I can understand why people are upset with the Republican party, but it is still a lot better then the alternatives.
To me a independent is nothing more that a fence walker and votes for the most popular instead of the best candidate.
If an Independent leans Republican he should support his party and vice versa. I think the reason we have the bum we have in office now is because of Independents and Libertarians who think they are so much smarter than anyone in the GOP.
What gets me is when a person dislikes one person or one policy, they drop out of the party and that is what's happening to the Republicans...

“Arizona Tea Party is more of my liking. Where can I sign up for that party?”

Uhh, you do know that the misnamed TEA Party is not recognized in Arizona? There are four political parties recognized by the Secretary of State – Democratic, Green, Libertarian and Republican.

So-called TEA Party people are just a sad group of misguided bigots led around by a bunch of wealthy Republicans. Really a pathetic group of losers. But on the up side – they are a really funny bunch the rest of us like to laugh at!

Ok I did! Doesn't matter who I vote for but rest assured it will not be for anyone of the candidates from the "Independent" party.

first of all, this party of independent voters will have candidates, can vote in the primaries, and vote across party lines without being ostracized. now, in my opinion, anyone who has to sign their name as anonymous must be really cowardly. I've been working here for 15 yrs to help people. at least I use my name...Janice. l. palmer....like it or not

I challenge everyone to stop and think about this...to take a stand as a TRUE Independant, rebuke the " partys' affiliation, and vote by way of the NON-VOTE...because voting for the lesser of evils " is well, still voting for evil ! I found out that there is a method to voting that will actually be a negative count, and it could literally throw the whole evil masses into a whirlwind. If you'all want to get back to America as it was intended to be, we got to start with a clean slate, and the career criminals in charge now must go !.

@ Penny

"Independent party" is almost contradictory, especially in politics. For one to vote for whomever they choose, they do not need a "party."
I am convinced that political parties are one of the major causes of the degeneration of our great country. They are all about people who don't want to think for themselves.

A political party has candidates, there is no real independent party, they might claim they exist but if they do not have a real structure and real primaries to run candidates its like the Tea Party a myth, the Tea Party is nothing but a subsidiary of the republican party, all the third parties who ever tried to become a party leaned right or left, and did nothing but split the votes!

i am penny. i'm the sec-treasurer of the arizona independent party. if you join this party, you'll find that we encourage you to vote for whoever you want . it doesn't matter what party they are in. you won't be ostracized if you support someone outside the party. this is only so you may have a third choice and a voice. i think you'll like the way it is set up. as they used to say....TRY IT..YOU'LL ...LIKE IT!!!!

An independent voter, often called an unaffiliated voter in the United States, is a voter of a democratic country who does not align him- or herself with a political party. An Independent is variously defined as a voter who votes for candidates and issues rather than on the basis of a political ideology or partisanship [1] a voter who does not have long-standing loyalty to, or identification with, a political party [2][3] a voter who does not usually vote for the same political party from election to election

i am an independent, Lee. i usually vote republican. I dont think i would want to vote for and independent that had to tow a party platform, you would never know where they are headed. I prefer to look at, study and vote they way i believe.

If an independent voter joins the Independent Party are they still an independent or only an Independent based on the Independent Party platform that removes the very value of being an independent?

Anyway, good luck with that.

It seems to me that there are people out there that are oblivious to the idea of what an Independent Voter is and seeing the names of the individuals are not the least surprising. As an Independent Voter, I’ve chosen to set aside the traditional need to “have representation”. I can make my decision based on my knowledge of facts, fiction and cast my vote based on either the lesser of the evils or who seems to be lying the least. I cast my vote based on what I feel is the most genuine representation of the issues. Since the Kingman “Independent Party” has representatives who cannot even answer basic questions, then they are not likely able to compete with those candidates who are willing to shed the “fronts” that they have put up. No thanks. Lest I remind those who claim to be “Independents”, here it is:

“An independent voter, often called an unaffiliated voter in the United States, is a voter of a democratic country who does not align him- or herself with a political party.”

Enough said!

There is no independent party. The purpose of being independent is not to have a party alliance.

If you want to attract independent voters to a third party, call your third party some other name and have them reregister under that third party name.
