The Golden Valley Food Bank would like to express our appreciation to the Kingman Farms for their generosity in donating their fresh produce for hundreds of people in the valley. We are privileged to enjoy fresh products even before they are distributed or shipped. Such remarkable generosity should not be taken for granted but should be acknowledged. I heard from many people who are very appreciative of the farm and are not even from Golden Valley; they would drive many miles to enjoy buying fresh produce at reasonable prices.
From the very beginning, the farm stated their good intentions for Golden Valley and they've been true to their word. The farm faced some difficulties and complaints, but they are not formidable compared to what good it brings or contributes to Golden Valley and nearby communities. To start a farm is not that easy, and we are talking about turning a desert into a farm. It is for a good change and will benefit the majority.
Majority is the key word in this letter...I am just one representing them. Too many names to write in this letter, but I am ready to provide the list. I have been the director of the Golden Valley Food Bank for many years, and I have never seen such generosity - giving out their best produce to feed many families or households.
