11/18/2013 6:00:00 AM Letter of thanks: Pat Farrell
It has been a notable November for military veterans in the Kingman area. The parade held on Nov. 9 was the largest in memory, as over 90 groups participated with over 120 vehicles. A special thank you goes out to the sponsors and the parade committee as they worked hard to stage this event in a five-week window. A thank you goes out to the Elks Lodge for their annual Veterans Breakfast that was reportedly the best ever. A thank you goes out to Golden Corral for their annual Veterans Dinner. A thank you goes out to the Kingman Quilters Guild for the Mohave County Wounded Warriors and Quilts of Valor program.
I wish there was space available to name all that are deserving of mention. Last, but certainly not least, thanks to all veterans for their service to our country and the sacrifices of their families. Welcome home my brothers and sisters.

Pat, here's to you and all of your brothers and sisters that have served our country! We are honored to have you here in Kingman and Mohave County! I have a challenge for everyone who reads this, if you see someone that is wearing a hat or shirt or coat that shows they are proud to have served our county, walk up to them, shake their hand and thank them for their service. It only takes a few seconds, and I will guarantee you will make that serviceman/woman's day! THANK YOU VETERAN'S!
