Letter: Biden's pending resignation

Leading up to the 2012 elections, the Obama brain trust seriously considered dropping Joe Biden as the vice president candidate and replacing him with Hillary Clinton. The criticism and outrage surrounding her abysmal actions and failure to perform her duty to safeguard the lives of the Americans in Benghazi prevented them from following through with that tactic. They won't stop from developing a new strategy. Don't be surprised if, in about a year or so, Biden resigns "for personal reasons."

The brain trust correctly believes that most citizens will have forgotten all about the tragedy in Benghazi by then and Obama will appoint Hillary as Biden's replacement. This scheme will provide her with a strong advantage over any Republican or Independent candidate for president in the 2016 elections.

Speaking of disasters, remember when Democratic Sen. Baucus characterized the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) as a future "train wreck?" A more accurate description is that it is a plane wreck, crashing on takeoff. Visualize it: a huge jumbo jet, loaded with passengers, racing down the runway. Obama is the pilot and the copilot is Kathleen Sebelius. The flight attendants are Reid and Pelosi. Two tires are flat, one engine is spitting out chunks of steel, the left landing gear is folded up and the wing tip is scraping along the tarmac, shooting sparks everywhere. Half the passengers are screaming for the plane to stop, but Obama has the throttle on full. He radios to the attendants to warn the passengers to remain quiet and that he is "sorry," and their cocktails will cost more. Obama is determined to get the thing off the ground, no matter what.

Incidentally, his seat is the only one that ejects and has a parachute.

Speaking of Obamacare victims, have you noticed how Fox News is trotting out people to complain about the huge increase in their insurance premiums? How they believed Obama? How they voted for him and are now shocked at the high cost? Well, don't look here for sympathy - you won't find any, not one ounce.

"99% of Fox News viewers on Medicare said they oppose “socialized medicine.”"

Do you have a "source of fact" for that claim? Or can we just regard it as being the same sort of made up BS like when you claimed on Oct 4 that "millions of Americans are signing up" for obamacare?

You really don't think that question is going away. It will be here forever. And if they paper ever prints your obituary, I will even put it in a comment then.

"I watch them all and Fox by far is the best and I wish these so called experts on how bad Fox is would at least watch it before they do their ranting"

That is a gimme! However, you have to take "Fox News" for face value "when" they re covering news just like the rest of them. Now, O'Rielly , Kelly, Insane Hannity, they are commentators and not analysts nor anchor persons. They are a function of Foxes entertainment, not always factual and definitely "fair and balanced". Their rating on based on their entertainment value and not the actual news. So when I'm bored with the other sitcoms, I to will switch over and watch the rants until they become bashing, then I just watch commercials.

"99% of Fox News viewers on Medicare "

I've debunked your summaries of information from polls before. The above quote is a perfect example.
Was every fox viewer on Medicare interviewed? That is what your statement suggests.

Obviously, your statement is incorrect, which is why no one should pay any attention to poll "summary statements" and should, instead, go to the original poll document. The sample size, where and how the sample was contacted, the actual wording of the questions and the response options are all vital, and can be found on line for any of the major polling companies like Reuters.

D.B. you opened up a can of worms when you mentioned Fox news as the haters will crawl out from under their rocks and call you all sorts of names for watching that terrible news agency....we know the truth, huh?
I watch them all and Fox by far is the best and I wish these so called experts on how bad Fox is would at least watch it before they do their ranting.....or maybe they do and are just jealous, since it's ratings are far better than all the others.
I was just wondering with all of this hoopla about the communist Mandela if Billy Graham will get the same send off? He is an American Icon but unfortunately he isn't African or a communist!

Hahaha! The plane wreck scenario. Perfect! You nailed it.

The extremes they are going to to try to get young people to sign up is hysterical. Especially endearing is the government contest they ran and the winner was a young woman who sang a song about signing up.

No catchy tune here, neither were the lyrics which said to not worry about the cost. We got to pay for the contest also. Desperation at it's best.

"Obama will appoint Hillary as Biden's replacement."

Only one problem, the President doesn't appoint a new Vice-President (in this scenario). He can only nominate one, who then has to be confirmed by both parts of the Legislature, something Hillary Clinton would never get.

What really makes me laugh is that ObamaCare (ObummerCare) is great for the common folks but not good enough for the lying amateur president or any of the representatives, what a boondoggle the Demo's have slapped us with.
