Letter: The senator from Texas is afflicted

Clearly Ted Cruz suffers from that condition called "affluenza", a popular talking point in Texas. Therefore, he cannot differentiate right from wrong. And this man thinks he can run the country? Oh, woe is me.

I think Cruz was possibly infected by Rand Paul, Gov. Walker, Issa, our very own Trent Franks, J.B. in the governor's mansion, or so many others. Gee, has the CDC declared an official outbreak of this growing health threat?

Looks like LA was wrong again! CC (Communist Cruz) had said he denounced his Canadian citizenship and LA jumped right on that! Turns out he has not, which leads to questions about certain peoples credibility "again". His "poor" attempt at a filibuster (by his definition only), was only a distraction from the facts.

“Ted Cruz is doing something right as he made the list of most influential men on the planet.”

“The very Ted Cruz who…came in third as most influential in the entire world.”

Let’s see who else has made the Time list since it began with Lindberg in 1927.
Halile Sallassie, Chiang Kai-Shek, Adolph Hitler, Joseph Stalin, King Faisal of Saudi Arabia, Deng Xiaoping, Aytotollah Khomeini, Mikhail Gorbachv, Newt Gingrich (“LOL!” as our favorite lil kid would say), and Vladimir Putin.

Yes, Canada (aka Rafael) Ted is in some excellent company, isn’t he? But then he fits right in being the clown who managed to screw the American taxpayers out of $24 billion dollars while simultaneously shoving over a million bucks in his pocket.

Yes, indeed, I do hope the TEA…uhh you know, nominate that clown to be their standard bearer in 2016. And, please, do understand that Canada (aka Rafael) Ted is fully vetted to run as president of the United states despite his having a Canadian Birth certificate and a Cuban Communist Dad.

"Cruz is so loving and caring"

Yeah okay, and how is it you know all these people you advocate for on such a personal nature? Please fill us in, and please don't quote some hear-say source, a book they wrote themselves, or something that you come across in the Inquirer.

"There has been studies that liberalism is a sickness", Aw c'mon captain, just site one study, not a "bunch", just one, so we can ferret out why liberalism is a sickness. I guess by you standard, I could say that conservatism shows no compassion for the well being of people who have very little money and wants the greedy to keep all they have "earned" and not pay taxes. Site someone other than the usual suspects on FAUX.

Trained observer:

Interesting you brought up Cruz along with John 13: 34-35.

If you listened carefully, Ted Cruz is one of the most loving people around. When he is cruelly attacked (and ironically, it IS because he is a devout fundamentalist Christian making your post really ironic!), he always responds in love.

I have seen others try to rile him up to say ugly things back and he never does. Nor does Sarah Palin, a devout Christian who has been ripped apart by those enemies of Christianity.

Cruz is so loving and caring, he joined others after philibustering 19 hours on the capitol steps on his knees to pray for the poor Christian pastor, sick and held in Iran while obama has done NOTHING to try to get him out.

There has been studies that liberalism is a sickness and no I will not prove it for what's his name, but I can tell just by looking at a person if they are liberal.....quite easy actually!

"The longer I read liberals posts, the more convinced I am that liberalism is indeed, a mental disorder."

The more I read right wing posts, there more convinced I am that there should be no internet access in mental hospitals!

This letter should certainly get an award for being the most insightful comment of the year- not.
It is simply to stir the pot.

Yes, maybe I should write that President Pinocchio is an accomplished liar, and that he is a textbook definition of a narcissistic personality disorder. That at least would be accurate, not something made up without any basis in fact.

Its interesting to see all the birthers support this clown. As for christianity, Cruz seems to forgot the part about John 13:34-35.

"It obviously doesn't take more than some pac money and a brainwashed population of cowardly and hyprocritical socialists nowadays". Yeh right, we will see who ends up with the most pac money in the end. Please reference "chickenhawk neo-conservative tea partiers". The neo-cons need to come up with something new fast or the republicans are going to send the them to bed with no supper. Check out what congress is doing. The tea party slogan should be "I'll do what I want, nobody can tell me what to do". Put the ring back in your noses your on short tether.

Ted Cruz is a radical jihadist only interested in destroying his "adopted" country.

Ted Cruz the Canadian born right winger who now is loved by the former birther's is amusing, if this alone was not funny enough to make one laugh till it hurts, ad to this his father fought along side Castro to ad to the mix, one has to find humor some where and this just makes for good late night comedy come 2016!

"It usually means you worked your butt off, made the right decisions along the way, probably faithfully tithed which the Bible promises will lead to prosperity."

How did that work out for you?

You mean the child prodigy Ted Cruz, devout Christian who knows right from wrong more than any rising star I have seen in years?

The very Ted Cruz who, in a recent poll, came in third as most influential in the entire world.

Not aware of the Cruz's having money. If so, they earned it but having money doesn't necessarily mean you don't know right from wrong.

It usually means you worked your butt off, made the right decisions along the way, probably faithfully tithed which the Bible promises will lead to prosperity.

The only time in the Bible God says "test me....and see if I will not open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing you will not be able to contain..." all in connection with tithing. One of the reasons many Christians have wealth and are wrongfully accused of obtaining their money illegally.

You do know that "affluenza" is not a legal clinical term but, one bought and paid for by the wealthy parents of a 16year spoiled brat who "just happen" to get drunk and kill four people!
There is Outrage in Texas and across the nation at the outcome of this and the Judge who accepted such an argument including the removal of said judge, who just happens to plan retiring soon!
How you possibly equate this case with Ted Cruz is beyond comprehension!!
You should focus your attention on the injustice and compassion for families of those lost. Not use it for political attack against one who had nothing to with it!!

is there a point here to be made? or just some made up condition that you say he suffers from without citing any facts or instances which would point to him suffering from, once again, your made up condition?? Anyways, anyone can run the country better than than the 01-09 idiot and certainly wayy better than the current idiot, failure of a president. so yeah...he probably could run it. It obviously doesnt take much more than some pac money and a brainwashed population of cowardly and hypocritical socialists nowadays.

I don't know how you can find out, but someone apparently edited your letter.
I think you must have put in Barak Obama and someone changed it to Ted Cruz.
I think either name would probably fit the sentence, but Obama has proven he can't and we are just assuming Cruz can't.

Barbara, evidently Ted Cruz is doing something right as he made the list of most influential men on the planet. Number three I believe, plus he has liberals like yourself calling him names, so he has the left afraid of him and that is good.
I suppose you call what Obama is doing is running the country? I call it more like destroying our country!

while I'm not a ted cruz fan, it seems like most of the politicians are all affected by "affluenza"
with no special one being worse than another!
(except maybe the current impostor)
being elected to office is an avenue towards wealth, and few ,if any politicians ignore it.
best approach it to elect new leaders every election!
