Letter of thanks: Keeping it safe

AMVETS Post No. 3 Safety Break of Dolan Springs would like to take this opportunity to thank all the companies and the volunteers that have given their time and support these last five years. Yes, it's been five years, five holidays each year.

How time flies when you're having fun.

We have had only two accidents and one small car engine fire and all came out OK.

The people who support us are: ADOT (road signs), Ferrell Glass, 66 Auto Sales, Ready Ice, Culligan Water, Headquarters (port-a-potty), VFW No. 9833, American Legion No. 88, Mohave Lumber, The Land Office, Rosie's Den, The Wishing Well, Wal-Mart and Smiths.

To my faithful volunteers: Gil D., Joe R., Mark and Mercedes for helping with the trailer, the crew, Debra M., Char, Peggy J., Gary and Celeste, Maryann W., Doug and Sylvia, Irene H., Judy and Roy, Aaron, Judy, Guy A., Tom and Cathy M., Fred and Kathy N., Phyllis R., Tony, Lee M., Tami P., Joyce B., Michelle J., Curtis and Cynthia A., Bill J. and my ever faithful night crew Jim B. and David B.

I am forever grateful to all of you. I couldn't do this Safety Break without your help and support.

Jill Devine
