2/9/2014 5:59:00 AM Letter: VA problems not isolated
Shame, shame, shame on the vets who wrote the letters to the editor slamming their fellow veteran, stating "No problems with the VA" and "Kingman VA doesn't deserve ire." Have they talked to other vets who have experienced these same problems? Did they talk to Mr. Morris and the many vets who have had the same problems with the Kingman VA and Prescott patient advocate? Meds discontinued, TV appointments with doctors who really don't care?
I am a caregiver for a 100 percent disabled Vietnam vet. We have had many of the same problems - calls not returned, medicines discontinued, ignored by the patient advocate, put on hold for hours, medicines not delivered, having to be recalled, with not even an "I'm sorry, I forgot."
How dare you put Mr. Morris down because he wrote a letter about the problems he, and a lot of others, are having with the VA. Where is your brotherhood? Have you not kept up with the problems the VA is having all across the country? Even Washington admits that there are many problems with the system.
A few days ago a WWII vet, Mr. Johnson, wrote the editor about the many problems he is experiencing with the Kingman clinic. In short, how dare you put these honorable men down? Mr. Rose and Mr. Sodaro, do your homework before you slam a fellow vet for stating his problems. Again, shame on you.
