Letter: Newsflash: Monsters don't exist

Vampires, werewolves and zombies - please get real!

You know, I can expect that from people who came from the old country, or Haiti for that matter, but our own people here in the U.S.A.?

I think someone has been dipping into the "white lightning" or has been smoking some powerful weed of some sort.

Hey, I have as much of an imagination as anybody else has, but I do live in the real world, if you catch my drift.

Somebody needs to see a head shrink, period. Now who believes in vampires, werewolves and zombies? Come on, people! Let's get real for a change. Only in Hollywood have zombies, werewolves and vampires got in.

People need to see the old country or Haiti if you want to see these monsters.

By the way - have a nice day.

Well, Jimi/linda/amaryllis, I haven't commented on this thread, not sure why you would single me out. Paranoid much? You see, I know a poem when I see one and you saying liberals suck means nothing to me, since I agree with you. I also think conservatives suck. As do people who always have to apply labels to other people and things.

Monsters exist, what kind of a human being would put bombs in a group of people at a foot race. I hope justice is swift. I wonder if Fienstien is going to try to get pressure cookers outlawed now.

“Also I can’t really prove liberals suck.”

So your saying that was … uhh, incorrect? So why did you say it?

“I CAN prove they are hypocrites. But you probably don’t want me to go there.”

Sure I do – go for it and be specific. Thanks.

“Sound familiar?”

No.

Also I can’t really prove liberals suck. It’s just that nothing rhymed with “blow.” Also nothing rhymed with “naïve.” And the only thing that rhymed with “stupid” was “cupid” and it wasn’t a Valentine’s poem.

I CAN prove they are hypocrites. But you probably don’t want me to go there.

“Censored” Supports The Constitution. Not ANY political party, ideology, religion or President. Our allegiance is to the Truth, wherever it can be found. In political parties, ideologies, religions or even a President. At “Censored”, Truth is our only product.

Sound familiar?

What? No charges of a copy paste from a Conservative chain e-mail?

Liberals do suck but most aren't smart enough to realize it.

It's a poem chuckles. Don't get too bent on having "proof." .

“I never thought liberals could sink so low but it looks like they sit around ‘on the tax payers dime’ and try to come up with things that will push Americans closer to revolt.”

I will now ask that you provide some empirical evidence of such a ridiculous statement. Thank you.

Jimi

“Vampires are like Liberals,
Cause Liberals always suck.”

Again, proof? No, never mind you can never prove anything you post here.

Good poem. The first thing I thought of when I read Kenny Barrows letter was "what do you mean there are not monsters, haven't you heard of Obama and liberalism"?
I never thought liberals could sink so low but it looks like they sit around "on the tax payers dime" and try to come up with things that will push Americans closer to revolt.
One of these days they will go to far and Americans will have had enough and end their journey to socialism.

we stopped looking for monsters under the bed as soon as realized they were inside us.

Murderers, rapists, serial killers, child abusers...yes, monsters are very, very real. The scary part is they look just like you and me.

Well, I guess for all you people it's come full circle. Jerk that I am, I knew this would turn into a self-perpetuating thread where for no reason all you far-right people talk about how the administration is run by some evil dark master. Baiting the likes of moderates and "lefties" with your self-gratifying comments, into choking. The chicken in this game is the one that responds first - making you go blind with rage, when you can't all just sit around f- I mean yapping about who is most right.

Sure, no matter what you post you always think you have them beat- Your meat and potatoes arguments always handily impress no one but yourselves! If someone unfamiliar came in here and read all this, the stranger would see just a mess of arguments with little relevant points.

Sorry, that's all I have. Maybe in 20 minutes I can go again.

If I were a monster,
I wonder what it would be,
Would I be an environmentalist creature?
Living in tree?
Maybe I’d be a Zombie,
Following the crowd,
We all could chant “Free Medical!”
And say it really loud,
Maybe I’d be a Vampire,
And control people with my mind,
I could throw away my Obama phone,
And hang with my own kind,
Maybe I could live forever,
To heck with Climate Change,
Man can’t control the weather,
Well, maybe acid rain.
It’s tough to be a liberal,
With no one to make up my mind,
The Collective isn’t here to guide me,
I’m really in a bind,
But I think I’ll stick with Vampire,
With Vampire I will be stuck,
Vampires are like Liberals,
Cause Liberals always suck.

What about those rapists that can't be taught not to rape? Are they monsters....or the boys next door?

I don't know, I have a night vision device and I swear I've seen a skinwalker.
But he was on adjoining state trust land, so maybe he was a warden.

Zombie has become a metaphor for people living after some unspeakable tragedy or breakdown of society.

For example, trying to get an appointment with a doctor after obamacare kicks in.

Come on Mr. Barrows, with shows like "Swamp People", "America's Worst Tattoos", "Freakshow", "Rehab Addict", "Hoarding: Buried Alive", "Jerry Springer Show", "My Big Redneck Wedding", "My Big Redneck Vacation".....etc. I mean the shows you mention are fantasy, the shows I list are not, when did being low class and low intelligence become something to be admired in America enough to make a TV show about these kinds of people, or are they designed to make the higher class people feel better, I don't know and I don't get it.

Kenny, I don't know about werewolves and zombies, but, I do know that vampires exist. We see them and their carnage every day. They appear as Progressives/liberals and suck the life out of everything they touch. They suck the life blood out of those who have initiative and industry in their DNA by taxes, and more taxes, and more taxes. They suck the life blood out of the impoverished by stupefying them with the mantra that they are dependent upon the liberal caretakers for survival. Example, poverty. Take from those who labor, give the impoverished just enough to survive on, create dependency and maintain them at a level of "neediness." If so-called Progressives (misnomer) and liberals (Joe Biden's 0.02% given to charity!) were sincere, poverty would have been solved long ago after billions and billions have been spent "studying" and "solving" that phenomenon. No, simply keep redefining "poverty" so that the vampires can perpetuate a class of dependents to suck the life out of them. Those who have "died" from the wounds of these vampires will be replaced by the next generation of dependents.

You are utterly mistaken, Mr. Barrows, and obviously have not lived in Las Vegas for any length of time. I lived there for 14 years and could absolutely count upon encountering zombies on every trip to supermarkets, casinos, and other locales. You could spot them at thirty paces after a while - the vacant look in their eyes, and that 'dance' I can still hardly describe, as you seek to step out of their mindless path, only to find that they match your first-left, then-right steps with theirs, necessitating an unpleasant 'bump' with the Walking Dead. Therefore, I finally learned, upon noticing the Creatures From The Crypt at a distance, to simply stand still until they passed. When they notice that you will not move at all, they seem - with what little excuse for thought pattern someone might ascribe to these creatures - to be flustered, and they sort of vibrate and have to go into an Alternative Mode of just ambling past you without a Zombie confrontation. I have asked people whether this may be due to drugs, gambling losses, Dick Cheney's targeted satellite disruption of brain wave activity at the time, or whatever. Nobody seemed to know.....Hollywood is in cahoots with the same criminal Government which has made America into the world's pariah state (omg, where do we start here? Maybe with our corrupt politicians selling their souls, and our bodies, to Monsanto. The European Union and rest of the world don't appreciate being criminalised in the process, as only 15 nations have let themselves be bullied into Monsanto 'products'). And Government monitoring picked up this observation of domestic Zombies - from people like me. There you have it, in a nutshell - or in a shopping cart full of diabolical deforming-killer crap which the world recognises, but you are being fed, along with their films. Long story, huh?
