Kingman letters: Expose the Benghazi cover-up

I am happy to see there are those out there who, as I, have not forgotten the Benghazi affair.

This cover-up needs to be unveiled and appropriate steps taken. I hope John McCain and Lindsey Graham have not swayed from their mission.

The deaths that occurred were preventable and I feel for their families. Hillary Clinton President? Come on!

not that anyone accused me of it, but I'm not Jimi Lightfoot, either. But I would like to differentiate between conspiracy theories and personal experience. I'd even like to differentiate between alleged conspiracy theories and postings like my own here which have been denigrated after facts have been presented - you know, like how the FBI found Mohammed Atta's paper passport amidst radioactive molten steel following the 911 attacks. I will not leave the crimes that were committed against me under colour of authority unchallenged. I understand that many people have retired to Kingman and don't want to hear and believe these things, but so what? It's real, and if you think they can get away with what they have done to me and - like Pastor Niemuller of the Nazi era in Germany - it will not come around to you one day - you really need to brush up on your history lessons.

Ahem...I hope that you just BF'd in a prior post. Just to be clear, I am not JL. I don't believe I have even commented on this post.

I won't be drawn into a "discussion" (to be generous with the term) about conspiracy theories and coverups in which neither side has any real proof whatsoever.

I do know that no military force is sent in to a situation unless they at least THINK they have reliable intel of some sort. I don't care what the travel time is from A to B...if you don't have the proper force ready to go...it won't happen in 2 or 3 hours. And what would be the proper forces? 5 Force Recon Marines? A company of Marines? A Seal Team? A flight of F-16s?

“Without naming names on here, one person has repeatedly said Benghazi didn't have enough security due to Republicans defunding it.”

Actually what I said was the Republican refused to provide additional security funding as requested by the State Department. That is considerably different than “de-funding” security. But accuracy and correctness will never be your long suit.

”But a person on here has repeatedly insisted Republicans defunded it even when shown the truth from one under oath.”

Wrong again, I never stated that the Republicans “de-funded” security. Please, try – at least once – to be accurate in your statements.

“A couple of things. I also learned under last weeks Whistleblower testimony, Clinton and Obama wanted to "normalize" Libya which meant to them, having security forces from within, many of which were Jihadists.”

As usual more blather with no basis in fact. Why do you do that?

“I WATCHED Charlene Lamb testify myself on C-Span. She absolutely said funding was not a problem - she felt there was no further security needed and that is why they didn't have it.”

So now it is Ms Lamb making the claim that security was not necessary. You seriously need to get your stories straight. Oh and BTW she DID NOT say that.

“And one sentence specifically out of her mouth was it had nothing to do with funding.”

Nope, wrong again.

“… the funding referred to as having been cut by Republicans wasn't the funding that would have been used at Benghazi anyway. You're wrong on two counts.”

Oh, so now you are an expert on what the security funding denied by Republicans would have been used for?

Always remember – simply because you post something here is not in any way truthful. It is always your misguided opinion based on your hatred of the president.

Jimi:

Very interesting. Yes, there seems to be incredible similarities.

Without naming names on here, one person has repeatedly said Benghazi didn't have enough security due to Republicans defunding it.

And yet, Charlene Lamb, directly below Clinton at State testified under oath that lack of funding had nothing whatsoever to do with Benghazi security. That they felt they needed no further security. In spite of the fact, the Ambassador had repeatedly asked for it.

But a person on here has repeatedly insisted Republicans defunded it even when shown the truth from one under oath. Unbelievable! You feel like you are screaming into the wind - something I do once in a while. Hahaha!

A couple of things. I also learned under last weeks Whistleblower testimony, Clinton and Obama wanted to "normalize" Libya which meant to them, having security forces from within, many of which were Jihadists. Yeah, that's sure who you want guarding you.

"no regard to personal or societal effects" is so right on with many liberals and in fact, Hillary and Obama. They both appear sick to me.

I will tell you again. I WATCHED Charlene Lamb testify myself on C-Span. She absolutely said funding was not a problem - she felt there was no further security needed and that is why they didn't have it. Had others said ok to it, she would have opposed it.

That is what she does at State. That's why she was called. And one sentence specifically out of her mouth was it had nothing to do with funding.

Now you are disputing the actual words out of her mouth. Unbelievable!! And incidentally, Jason Chavettz brought out that the funding referred to as having been cut by Republicans wasn't the funding that would have been used at Benghazi anyway. You're wrong on two counts.

More impeachment silliness from the Teabaggers

former Sen. Jon Kyl, responded to Obama’s deferred action immigration policy by telling Teabagger radio host Bill Bennett “impeachment is always a possibility,” especially if there are “shenanigans involved.”

Limbaugh joined the fun, as did the Teabagger group AILPAC, which has a petition up on its website to impeach the president.

Newtie Gingrich suggested impeaching the president over his decision to stop defending the Defense of Marriage Act in court while Herman Cain called it near-treason. Social conservative stalwart Rep. Trent Franks hinted at impeachment, too.

Grover Norquist said if Obama failed to extend the Bush tax cuts, “Republicans will have enough votes in the Senate in 2014 to impeach.”

A Texas congressional candidate wanted to impeach Obama in 2012 for supposedly giving away a string of islands to Russia. BTW those islands were “given away” by Bush the Daddy and were never American territory.

A former GOP congressman who ran for office in 2010 suggested the idea of moving to impeach Obama in order to pressure him to release his birth certificate. Unfortunately Obama relased his BC.

When a man told Rep. Michele Bachmann that President Obama should be impeached just because, Bachmann replied, “Well, I’ll tell you, I’ll tell you, I agree, I agree.”

Texas Republican Michael Burgess told a bnch of Teabaggers in 2011 that he would push to impeach Obama for just generally being liberal. When a reporter asked him later what the charges would be, Burgess said he wasn’t sure, but said “it needs to happen” so Republicans can tie up Obama’s legislative agenda.

Of course there are many others, but these are a start.

It is really a riot to look back at all of the “impeachments” the right wing fringe has demanded. The latest of course is that nut case from Oklahoma, James Imhoff, who said, “Of all the great coverups in history, the Pentagon papers, the Iran-Contra, Watergate and all the rest of them this … is going to go down as the most serious. People may be starting to use the I-word.”

Now, let’s step back into the Way Back machine –

Representative Jim Sensenbrenner threatened to impeach the president over the botched gun-running (which was started by The Criminal) saying, “If we don’t get to the bottom of this…there is only one alternative that Congress has, and it is called impeachment.”

A Washington Times fool called for impeaching Obama after the Boston Marathon bombing because he fails to realize that “we are in a clash of civilizations between radical Islam and the West.”

Dick Morris, and Hannity, agreed that it was a “de facto bribe” and “an impeachable offense” when the White House allegedly pushed former Pennsylvania senatorial candidate Joe Sestak out of a Democratic primary.

A pleathroa of Republican lawmakers have floated impeaching Obama over post–Sandy Hook gun laws, with Rep. Steve Stockman planning to introduce articles of impeachment in the House.

South Carolina Teabagger Sen. Tim Scott, said if Obama invoked the 14th Amendment to circumvent the debt ceiling, it would be an “impeachable act.” Rep. Steve King promised “Obama would be impeached” if the government defaulted.

Rep. Mo Brooks in January proposed a constitutional amendment that would make failing to balance the nation’s budget a presidential impeachable offense.

More to come.

Benghazi will fizzle just like the right wings feeble attempt to prove Obama is a illegal alien from Kenya, they will shout from the roof tops of a conspiracy, cover up and it will do nothing but allow them to vent their hatred for the non-white fellow in the white house where they would not be allowed to set up a shoe shine stand! Now that is a irony!

Just to clarify, I never joined any of the aforementioned groups. While they, of course, worked on my “salvation,” I interviewed and researched them.

I was doing research on the long and short term effects of indoctrination and mind control. I only mention it because of the current mirrored similarities of the hate spewing and intolerant short sightedness by many liberals.

Major commonality of the group mentality is shared enemies and lofty goals with no logical or reasonable way or steps to achieve these goals. These goals all share the same aggregate with no regard to personal and societal effects.

I can’t tell you how disconcerting it is to sit across from and look a true believer in the eyes and prove to them that their belief and perception wasn’t born of reality, only to see them smile and repeat the same thing back to you.

Their indoctrinated mind won’t allow any “change” or “new” information or reality.

I note that a good portion of today’s “angry white” liberals show the same mien.

I’m looking into “post cult” symptoms among extremist leftist liberals and have found too many shared similarities with current and past, cult members to write off and ignore. I think there is a real potential link and foresee future issues with what appears as a type of mental illness.

“If he was corrupt getting us into a war, so were they.”

No, they were naïve enough to believe that the so-called president of the United States would not stand before Congress and the American people and lie though his teeth.

“Although I know there were WMD’s found, some will never admit it as they may imply Bush was right.”

Again the term is WMD. And how you “know” they were found when the ISG formed by The Criminal to protect his lying butt published a report that showed there were no active WMD in Iraq is, proving that The Criminal was wrong – big time wrong and thousands of Americans died because he was wrong. But then … never mind, you know where I was going.

“That is unrealistic and fantastical thinking that usually doesn’t resolve it’s self without therapy and meds. .”

Cute, but as usual not based on facts.

“Thanks for keeping me straight on the FACTS.”

Which of Ms Athens FACTS do you support? The birther nonsense? The British passport nonsense? The outlawing of incandescent bulb nonsense? Obama rejecting his citizenship as a child in Indonesia? That there are “death panels” within in the ACA nonsensne? I could go on, but the list is so long now it’s – well, kind of disturbing.

Thanks. Good points I failed to even consider.

You of course are right on all those points.
It’s hard to understand how this tragedy is over looked and somehow justified by Obama Zombies by their combined chant, “What about Bush. What about Bush…”

They fail to admit the fact that all the major Dems, Including Reid, Pelosi and Clinton all voted YES to invade Iraq. If Bush was fooled, they were too. If he was corrupt getting us into a war, so were they.

Although I know there were WMD’s found, some will never admit it as they may imply Bush was right.

In their myopic view of the world Obama and Clinton can do nothing wrong and Bush did nothing right. That is unrealistic and fantastical thinking that usually doesn’t resolve it’s self without therapy and meds. .

I wonder if they really are disillusioned enough believe that or they just hate that they picked an inept community organizer that is better at party planning than trying to run a country?

Thanks for keeping me straight on the FACTS.

“Charlene Lamb, second below Clinton testified under oath that funding was no problem in Benghazi concerning security - it was simply that they didn't feel more was necessary.”

Still trying to mislead people I see. What Ms Lamb said was that funding was not available – now, why was that? Oh, I remember, it was because the Republicans continually refused to provide additional funds to upgrade security at our embassies and consulates.

“Clinton had actually decreased it.’

Actually Mrs Clinton did no such thing. The funds for all embassies and consulates were decreased – by the SD budget gurus - because the Republicans had refused, numerous times, to fund the additional security requested by the State Department.

“First, it wasn't a regular embassy or anything close. They were using it to ship arms from Benghazi via Turkey to Syrian rebels, the bad ones, not moderates.”

So now you are saying that the Benghazi operation was an illegal arms transport location? Where do you get this stuff? Oh wait, I’ll bet it was Limbore or Dreck who told you that.

”Second, Obama wanted to pretend he had cut the head off of Al Qaeda by killing UBL.”

Wrong again. The president has never made any statement to the effect that the killing of OBL “..cut the head off Al Qaeda.” Why do post such obvious … inaccuracies?

As I have stated in another thread here, had it been me I would have investigated the Teabaggers from one end to the other because of their various anti-American and seditious activities. However, the entire point is actually moot because no one was denied the tax exempt status they were seeking, so why all of the shining is beyond me.

”But I guess you’ll blame that on Bush too.”

Well, as usual you guessed wrong. Why do you do that?

“I don’t even know why any of us respond to you.”

I have no idea either. Righties come here demanding facts and calling me a liar and when I slap them down with the facts they so desperately crave they slink away. Rarely is anything I post actually disputed, instead we get comments about my military service and things like, “But I guess you’ll blame that on Bush too(?)”

“I saw more insight and open minds in my conversations with Moonies and when I briefly hung out with the Hare Krishna.”

Well, all I can say is – that explains a whole lot!

Oh Ya:

You deserve a gold medal for inaccuracy on your drunk Mitt, dead woman story which wasn't even the one we were referring to but whatever.

The France story: From the left wing NYTimes, 2007.

The France Mormon mission President, Mr. Anderson, his wife and three others were heading out for mission work. French gas shortages and problems with a French Mormon church had held them up. They asked 21 year old Mormon missionary Mitt to drive them.

They had just passed a wreck, were discussing how that area had had many wrecks and Mitt was going even under the speed limit when a car hit them head on, estimated at 70 mph, driven by an inebriated priest w/his Mother and another woman passenger inside. The President's wife, Leola Anderson was killed, Mitt and Mr Anderson nearly killed. They reported Mitt dead at first.
.
Son Richard Anderson said "Mitt was not in any way at fault". It was a two lane, curvy highway rife with crashes, the reason Mitt was driving so carefully. Post accident, the two Priests passengers disappeared. Mr. Anderson did not press charges due to strife between the Mormon Church and France. He didn't want it to get worse. However, France did press charges.

The priest had passed a truck, didn't get back in his lane in time, coming up over a ridge, he hit Mitt's car head on. The truck driver estimated the priests speed at 70 mph.

Everyone in Mitt's car gave the same story of what happened. One occupant named Wood was knocked unconscious, even got a settlement from the priest later on. He also said Mitt was a very cautious driver. And of course, none of them had ever drunk.

“Yes the Republicans cut the funding for overseas embassies.”

And just think, head they approved funding there is a possibility – not definite – that the consulate could have been protected. So the blame lies with the Republicans and no one else.

“In typical Obama fashion as with sequestration he chooses to punish Americans with stopping WH tours, cutting back on air traffic controllers and all manner of things… .”

You do know the president had nothing to do with what cuts were made, right? Oh wait, when you get your news from FAUX news you will never get the truth – ever – on anything. However posting such nonsense says volumes about you.

”Did the Community Organizer hold back the military from Libya that night and allow the murder of Americans just to make his point?”

The President did not hold back the military because by the time we knew what was happening the people were already dead.

”The Obama knew it was a terrorist attack day one but goes to the U.N. weeks later and blames a video. That is a lie straight from your Messiah himself and it’s now on record.”

Actually the president stated on 9-12 that it was a terrorist attack. But please, never post the facts because they destroy your arguments.

”And still you sheep still try to blame Bush?”

I have yet to see anyone blame The Criminal for what took place at Benghazi, however millions of Americans are curious as to why none of the 12 attacks on embassies and consulate during the Reign of Error of the Criminal were never investigated – not to mention War Crimes charges for the thousands of American killed due to his ineptness.

“Obama hasn’t taken responsibility for anything yet.”

And that is wrong – as usual.

I mean, ugh... Anson.

We all know what happened on 9-11 unless your tin foil hat is nailed on too tight.

No one justified 9-11 except liberals, Bill Maher “who declared them brave,” and liberal college professors who still declare and designate the terrorists as freedom fighters.

It's as simple as an overlooked report from a flight instructor in Phoenix to an F.B.I. agent and continued ignored sabre rattling from a Osama Bin Laden that had been jailed in Somalia and offered to then President Bill Clinton, (and politely declined) as he was currently wanted on federal warrants in the U.S.

All this paranoid conspiracy propaganda does not change the fact that Obama and his administration messed up then covered up and lied to the U.N. and the American people.

When Obama was asked at a press conference he didn’t know nuthin’ bout Benghazi but he was up on the sexual preference of a NBA star.

Add to this the I.R.S. has admitted deeply investigating any profit free organization with the word “Patriot” or “Tea Party” and we have world class persecution of Conservatives.

What of that, Oh Brave defender of the downtrodden and minority?

But I guess you’ll blame that on Bush too. I don’t even know why any of us respond to you.

Thanks for truth Jimi: However, again, Charlene Lamb, second below Clinton testified under oath that funding was no problem in Benghazi concerning security - it was simply that they didn't feel more was necessary. Clinton had actually decreased it. Lamb personally would have opposed it she said under oath. Nuts like the rest of these obama idiots.

Two reasons:

First, it wasn't a regular embassy or anything close. They were using it to ship arms from Benghazi via Turkey to Syrian rebels, the bad ones, not moderates.

Second, Obama wanted to pretend he had cut the head off of Al Qaeda by killing UBL. Didn't happen, they are world wide but more security would have meant there was still danger. He wanted to hold off until he was re-elected, didn't want anything to look like there was still an Al Qaeda presence.

And yes, the counterterrorism man testified help was one hour away - again, told to Stand Down.

Benghazi makes Watergate look like a two bit break in by a couple of first graders. Heads should roll for our dead personnel. It is heart breaking to know one of the men on the roof, thinking help was on the way, sent out a signal showing where he was - only to be killed because of that signal.

With that said, LA & Jimi would not have it, as they see the 10,000 or so deaths as Justifiable Collateral Damage. Really? You might consider renaming yourself here.

Rand Paul needs his Daddy to wipe his nose? Now there's a real joke. Rand Paul is one of the most independent thinkers I've seen in a long time.

He's a Dr, lives in a different state from his parents, has a wife and children and held a filibuster recently that I found very impressive. He HARDLY needs his Dad to wipe anything for him. He is one gutsy dude. He doesn't back down from anything.

Could you please point out some lying on the Republican side since you made the claim with no proof?

Clinton's handling of Benghazi was despicable. She lied, covered up, yelled at her hearing (both things she yelled were also lies and she knew it) but Hillary and lying go WAYYYY back to Arkansas. I know. I have 11 books on her and Bill.

There was Travelgate and the cattles futures (made $100,000 in one day I believe - insider trading anyone?), the missing Rose Law Firm records where her billing was just a tad off. Then there were the cover ups for Bill for which she actually had a woman hired to follow him, document it and then they worked together to keep them covered up.

One was the Juanita Broaddrick rape, then Paula Jones, Jennifer Flowers, etc. And then of course Monica Lewinsky in the White House which she blamed on a right wing conspiracy.

How does that work when you have sex with a 22 year old intern and it is the fault of Republicans anyway?

Let's not forget her secret health care project and the very dead Vince Foster. I loved when she ran for the Senate in NY only wasn't a New Yorker? Hutzpah!!
