Letter: The rule of law

Ms Dane is asserting that those of us in America who believe we are a Christian nation with a special relationship between religion and the rule of law are white supremacists?

Let's talk about the rule of law or the lack thereof with the current administration: The first president/secretary of state to knowingly and willfully leave four Americans in the hell hole called Benghazi to die, and then lying about the cause of their deaths; the IRS targeting non-profit American Tea Party/Patriot organizations by requiring personnel information not required by others and delaying their non-profit status; the (probably illegal) wire, phone and e-mail tapping of over 100 reporters of the Associated Press when only five reporters worked on a leaked story; the HHS secretary soliciting donations to support Obamacare because it cannot survive on it's own - there are so many more instances of lawlessness with this president and his departments that the Daily Miner would have to designate an entire edition to it.

The real hate monsters are mostly in the Democratic party, those who view others that do not share their love for the betterment of this country as white supremacists, think that being a Christian or a patriot is a bad thing, and they mostly agree with a president who promotes hatred and lies at every turn.

@ Sam Wise & Frank Lee Speaking. You should hang your heads in shame because of your mis-interpretation of the facts and the disgraceful names you are calling our president. Ask yourselves "What would Jesus say or do" As for Benghazi, information was coming in fast and furious from many different sources which had to be checked for facts and truth. That is why it took time to straighten out what was happening over there. Sunday quarterbacking doesn't cut it.

@Anson

"And the ones that were left to die during the twelve embassies and consulates attacks under the Reign of Error of The Criminal were … what?"

From your statement it seems as though you think this treatment of ambassadors and embassy employees is unacceptable.
But by your logic, it seems as though you endorse condoning this treatment because administrations from 2 different parties allowed these events to occur.

In other words, according to you, 2 wrongs make a right.

In my book wrong is wrong, and any president who allows other countries to attack our ambassadors or embassies with out recourse is not upholding their oath to defend the US and the Constitution from all enemies foreign or domestic.

But.......

Obama tried to fool the American public into believing that the attack in Benghazi was caused by a video posted by one American citizen on YouTube. Obama lied to the Americans and his administration spent our tax payer dollars to create a television "commercial /announcement to be shown in the Mid East, apologizing on behalf of the American people for this YouTube video posted by this one citizen.

Obama was attempting to cover up for this event that would reflect poorly on him, on the eve of the 2012 election.
Additionally, once the investigation is completed, we may find that he was covering up other activities that were put into place by his administration that should not have been occurring.

But you just keep on saying, "Bush did it too" so you don't have to acknowledge the truth.

And while we keep hearing the same issues brought up by the "conservatives" (you remember, the ones that didn't seem to bother them during the time we had a Republican president) what we would like to know is why are your guys continually trying to cut Social Security etc. and doing nothing to spur job growth? Please do not give us some Ayn Rand fantasy or trickle down economics story. That obviously does not work.

Rather than address the issue you fall back on your favorite tactic of saying....."But the other guy did it". Why not just explain the sound reason you think ovomit had for his lack of action?

LOL

We don't think that being a christian or patriot is a bad thing. We actually think they are good things that would better society. What we don't like are right wingers who claim christianity and patriotism while their actions prove otherwise.

“The first president/secretary of state to knowingly and willfully leave four Americans in the hell hole called Benghazi to die..”

And the ones that were left to die during the twelve embassies and consulates attacks under the Reign of Error of The Criminal were … what? Oh, that’s right, they were ignored with no effort to capture the attakcer being taken.

“.. the IRS targeting non-profit American Tea Party/Patriot organizations by requiring personnel information not required by others and delaying their non-profit status ”

Nope, did not happen. Every group requesting tax exempt (meaning you and I pay) status was given the exact same scrutiny.

No comment necessary – just talking points pulled off a right wing website.
