Letter: Challenging our rights

Our rights are being looked down on by all politicians in Washington D.C., and I am mad about it. Criminals have more rights than we taxpayers do, and that is wrong in my eyes.

We must fight this cracked system of ours. It's a political joke and a farce, as far as I'm concerned. The guilty are allowed to make money while doing time. I say this: enough is enough with our law. Play us as a fool. Play politics on your own time, not the taxpayers! Got it?

The Washington Post just printed an article that should P__s everyone off. Obama stated that the WILL OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE was HIS biggestt barrior. I thought politicians were supposed to follow the will of the people not go against them. Obama and all the politicians who feel this way should be impeached. The American people should contact their congressmen and let them know how you feel about this statement.

I don't believe that any of us have done a very good job lately of putting ourselves in the minds of this nation's founders, who stood for inherent rights. Inherent rights are not given. They are not granted. They are not conditional upon a permit, license, registration, fee, or even a smile or use of the term "sir" to anyone. One of those rights was to be secure in our papers - our privacies and correspondences. The strangest thing of all nowadays is the legal view which judges and their thugs hold - that unless you resist along very precise lines of legal terminology, every rude and illegal law enforcement intrusion upon you is done with your approval ! You can learn, with some effort, how to spar with these people (nice thought, huh? Every time you go out the door to mind your own business, it's combat)....but what about the NSA and other agencies whom you cannot see, who steal everything? Thomas Jefferson said nothing about getting mad, but he did write about overthrowing abusers of authority.

Kenny needs to include liberal Dems in the Senate. Pay taxes they do, but they're out of control criminals.

2005, Reid and the White House Fraud ranted on camera how they opposed any Republican effort to dump the 200 year filibuster, giving the minority party leeway.

Yesterday, Reid and the libs forgot, then dumped the filibuster for the WH Fraud who's terrified the Senate may go Rep next year and he won't get to stack the DC Court w/far far left liberals. Second most powerful in the country, it doesn't even have enough cases to keep busy. And with four Dems, four Reps, in bi-partisanship, some of the Dems were nominated by Republican Presidents.

As libs rant on, truth be known, Republicans have oked 215 judges, only opposed TWO.

This could bleed over to the Supreme Court where the Senate now has enough votes alone to put a judge through. And it would be judges that would make Sotomayor and Ginsberg look to the right of Wm Buckley. The Dem party is evil, cares little how their lack of morals looks.

Yesterday, McConnell, w/usual Republican fairness said if they take the Senate, they will re-instate the filibuster.

I believe Congress is under medicated! The Democrats need to get back on their Geritol, The Republicans a Laxative, and the PAN/Tea Party, well they just need a couple of treatments of Rid-Ex. Seriously though folks, we need to get rid of all these folks that are still living in the 19th and 20th century and get some fresh mature minds in Congress. Experience is fine but what worked for the American people 30 years ago, does not apply today. Quit voting these Geriatrics back into office.

Kenny

Then why do you people keep electing the same jokers and sending them to Washington?

I'm going to propose this idea: it's not that the system is broken, it's that the voters are too stupid to vote for anyone with real credentials.

Considering how often I hear of a Tea Party darling saying something that makes me question if they fell of a turnip truck in front of the Capitol, I'm not surprised by your letter.

And I won't be surprised when you and thousands more Kingmanites rail on Congress, but re-elect your congressional rep.

Unfortunately, you can't play the game without the pawns.
