Kingman Letters: Sealing the rat hole

In his Jan. 26 letter to the editor, Richard Rufo complained about foreign aid and wondered why I have not done anything to stop wasteful foreign aid spending. He and several online commenters seemed completely unaware of my true position.

Let me set the record straight: I am the lead sponsor of the Foreign Aid Under Limitation and Transparency (FAULT) Act or H.R.1922.

This bill prohibits foreign aid to Pakistan, Egypt and other countries that do not support democratic values, embrace religious tolerance or refuse to recognize Israel's right to exist. I firmly believe we have to look after our own needs here in America and ratchet back the amount of money we send overseas, particularly if we get nothing in return or prop up a hostile regime. Support our friends? Of course. Incentivize some nations to democratize? Sure. Aid our enemies? No way.

Congressman Paul A. Gosar, DDS

Arizona's 4th District

Yoo hoo, Rep. Gosar, we don't care if you want transparency or no aid to Egypt, etc.. They want ALL foreign aid stopped, period. No exceptions. So stop the double talk.

Yea, where are your jobs bills?

As the election gets closer we will hear more and more from our good congressman. He'll be telling us that he's in favor of this or he tried that or he is working for but the bottom line is where are the jobs in this area? Our standard of living has been decreasing and he has not introduced any bills to correct this. Rep. Gosar just doesn't get it - we don't care about improving the lives of others around the world UNTIL we get our own house in order.

Regarding your Feb 3rd comment OKR, really?

"The National Republican Congressional Committee appears to have set up at least 16 websites meant to appear like the official websites of Democratic candidates."

I don't get it! Why do the Republicans consistently make our party look bad? I mean we are constantly accusing the Democrats of playing dirty, then the Republicans come out with something completely stupid. Are our candidates so bad that we can't run on our own record and have to stoop to dirty tactics? I don't see us getting the White House nor the Senate back if we just can't be honest. They are an embarrassment.

Ironically the real Boston Tea Party took a British ship, threw some crates of tea into the sea, helping begin the revolution from a monarch, King, forming the government we have today! These fake tea partier's dishonor the name of these true patriots who would have nothing to do with traitors, seditionists who preach not patriotism but destruction of the very government our ancestors helped form and fought for!

We are bankrupt if one believes the right wing, in the end times due our sad financial state but they seem to find no such belief when handing out trillions for foreign adventures, buying one despots favor after another, but we are too poor to care for our own, and label the poor here in America as lazy, now the unemployed are the new lazy shiftless class, shame on them for having them greedy corporation shift their jobs to India, China, Mexico etc. for them cheap labor workers!

When will Congressmen learn there is no "I" in team? You will not cross party lines to get anything done, but then you Censure McCain when he does. When do you plan on helping your district Congressman? When will you take on your duties, think of the people you represent and quit thinking about your own interests or political career? Quit thinking about how you will look to your party or you will not see another term.

Congressman, while your busy patting yourself on the back
on a issue that has no chance in hell of passing as mentioned by Anson's Nephew what have done for us in your district along with the rest of the policticans in Mohave County regarding being one of the poorest area in the Country, high proverty, unemployment, crime, drug abuse, etc.? Don't you with the other County leaders find this embarrassing? Instead of making it a top
Priority you with the others ignore it. No more you will not get my vote we need real leaders who'll face the real issues confronting us in Mohave County not hide from them!

It'll be more or less a moot point soon, as Zimbabwe is the latest of a lengthening string of African nations to dump the U.S. dollar and adopt the Chinese yuan for their nation's foreign (and sometimes domestic!) transactions. The Fed's genocidal gangsters are worried over losing control of the Middle East and other regions, and they should be. They decidedly do not appreciate Obama's (thus, their) inability to attack Syria in defence of the dollar last October, so you may expect a domestic terrorist attack here that will leave no choice to the enslaved American citizen but to support the national End Game (play on words, since some have suggested the Super Bowl as target). Don't expect delicate language from me, after their filthy crimes, including what tghey did in locally.

Ah, the good ole defense of Israel. With that country's liberal abortion policies, I see a card-carrying member of the TEA Party is in favor of abortion! Gosar supports abortion! Remember that come election time!

“I am the lead sponsor of the Foreign Aid Under Limitation and Transparency (FAULT) Act or H.R.1922.”

A bill that has been hung up in committee since May of last year and according to GovTrack has a 6% chance of making it out of committee and a less than 1% chance of being enacted. Just more posturing nonsense from a TEA, uhh you know.

Where are your JOBS BILLS Congressman?
