Letter of thanks: Pay it forward for Ron Hunter

I want to pay it forward to a Kingman resident and the only way I could think to do it was to let everyone in Kingman know how the amazing honesty of this gentleman.

Ron Hunter of the Mobile Station on Beale Street found an envelope that my "elderly" mother left on the counter after returning from Laughlin on our way to Prescott. He and his wife spent a month tracking me down by reviewing videos and contacting my credit card company to return the substantial amount of money to my mother. He would not accept a penny in return.

We will forever stop at his Mobile on our way through Kingman. Thank you.

Lynn Kruger

My father Kenneth K. Kelley was once Ron Hunter's boss at the Mineral Park Mine. My 92 year-old-father ran into him recently and he was so kind to go and get my dad an electric cart. My dad was so thankful. I knew Ron in high school and really like him as a person. He has not changed. The last time I saw him was in 1990.
