Obstetrician joins staff at hospital

KINGMAN - Obstetrician and gynecologist Dr. Stephen Whipp has joined the staff at Kingman Regional Medical Center.

Whipp specializes in all areas of women's health, including pregnancy, childbirth, and disorders of the female reproductive system.

Whipp received his Doctorate in Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, and completed a four-year residency at the Methodist Hospital obstetrician and gynecologist residency program in Houston. He has served patients and delivered babies in Tucson, Bullhead City, and Casa Grande.

In addition to helping women have healthy pregnancies and healthy newborns, Whipp also has expertise in both menstrual and menopausal issues; diseases of the breasts, uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries; and fertility problems. He also provides crucial preventive care and screenings for breast and cervical cancer and other diseases that can affect women.

He also performs surgical procedures, which include C-sections, uterine ablations, and hysterectomies.

Whipp joins Dr. Ken Jackson, Dr. Anthony Lemanski, Dr. Lorne Taylor, and Dr. Joseph Tedesco at Kingman OB-GYN Associates, Suite 200 at the KRMC Medical Professional Center in Kingman. He is accepting new patients and takes most insurance plans, including Medicare and AHCCCS.
