KINGMAN - Thirteen charter members celebrated the organization of the new Kingman Mohave Leo Club at 2520 Eastern St. recently. The Kingman Mohave Lions Club sponsored the new club for people ages 11-18.

Camilla Pease was elected to serve as the first president, and Stefeni Merrett will serve as the first secretary. The Kingman Mohave Leo Club plans to become involved with community service in Kingman.

"We are excited to give back to our community, said Alexander Blanco, the club's vice president. "Through this important work, we plan to make a difference in our community."

The Kingman Mohave Leo Club meets at 4 p.m. the third Tuesday of each month in the Mohave County Library. Rosie Blanco and Melissa Palmer are the current Leo club advisors.
