Top: The Moose Lodge donated a variety of school supplies to Cerbat Elementary School on Aug. 16. The support of community organizations, like the Moose Lodge, helps ensure all students have the supplies needed to excel in school. Pictured (left to right) are: Vicki Trujillo, vice principal, Cerbat; Ron White, Elks Lodge; Dusty Rhodes, Elks Lodge; and Tony Victory, principal, Cerbat.

Bottom: Shelly Moon is the new student services specialist at Kingman High School. She runs the Student Assistance Office and one aspect of her job is to support the low-income students who attend KHS by gathering donations of all kinds, including the 35 supply-filled backpacks so graciously donated by Mission Bank. "More than 50 percent of our students are on the Free and Reduced Meals Program. We have such great need on our campus. We help these kids out with clothing, haircuts and styles, and even meals for Homecoming and Prom. We also provide school T-shirts and jackets. Some of these kids struggle to get their daily needs met, so anything we can do to help makes a world of difference." Anyone in our community who would like to make a donation of any kind can call Shelly at (928) 681-6494. Pictured are: Darrell Lautaret, Mission Bank president/CEO, and Moon.
