Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Mary Jane Gould, 27, of Kingman, Tuesday, Sept. 11 on an outstanding warrant. Deputies contacted Gould around 1:30 p.m. during an unrelated incident at a residence in the 4000 block of Thompson Avenue. A records check showed Gould to have a failure to appear felony warrant issued by Mohave County Superior Court. She was arrested without incident, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.



Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Raymond Joseph Mangrum, 36, of Kingman, Wednesday, Sept. 12 for felony possession of dangerous drugs, misdemeanor false reporting to law enforcement officer and three outstanding warrants. Deputies contacted a male subject just before 4 a.m. outside of a residence in the 2900 block of Potter Avenue. The male subject reportedly initially identified himself as another subject from California. Eventually, deputies identified the male subject as Mangrum. A records check confirmed Mangrum to have a failure to appear felony warrant issued by Mohave County Superior Court and two misdemeanor warrants. He was arrested without incident. A search of Mangrum reportedly yielded a plastic bag containing a white crystal substance. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.



Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Dennis G. Rezab, 61, of Las Vegas, Friday, Sept. 14 for felony possession of stolen property. Deputies conducted a traffic stop around 10:15 a.m. on a white Volkswagon traveling east on Edgemont near 10th Street. Deputies contacted Rezab, the driver. A computer check showed the vehicle was reported stolen out of Las Vegas. Rezab was arrested without incident, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.



Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Steven Michael Short, 24, of Golden Valley, Saturday, Sept. 15 on two counts of possession of marijuana, possession of narcotic drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, all felonies. Deputies observed a vehicle traveling erratically eastbound on Chino Drive around 10:15 p.m. and contacted Short, the driver. Short advised that he has never been issued a driver's license. Deputies also reportedly observed Short to be extremely nervous. A consent search of Short allegedly yielded a thin plastic tube with burnt residue and a marijuana cigarette. Deputies said the inside of the vehicle was covered with trash, clothes and boxes. The deputy happened to also be a K-9 handler and deployed his dog, named Radar, to sniff the red Jeep. Radar alerted his handler to the vehicle, where deputies allegedly located two plastic bags under the driver's seat containing marijuana and a substance. During conversations with Short, he said one of the bags contained black tar heroin. He was arrested, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
