Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Crystal Anna Black, 23, of Kingman Oct. 5 for felony possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, along with outstanding warrants. Deputies contacted Black around 11:20 a.m. as she was riding a bicycle on Norrie Drive at John L Avenue. A records check showed Black to have two contempt of court misdemeanor warrants issued by Kingman Municipal Court and Kingman Justice Court. She was arrested without incident. Deputies questioned Black about having anything illegal on her or in her backpack. At that time she reportedly produced a glass pipe with burnt residue. Deputies also said they found two plastic bags containing a white crystal substance. Black was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jason Leroy Bradley Sr., 41, of Kingman Oct. 5 on an outstanding warrant. Deputies contacted Bradley in the 4200 block of North Bank Street around 10 p.m. in regard to an unrelated investigation. A records check showed Bradley to have a felony warrant for theft issued by Maricopa County Superior Court. He was arrested without incident, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Clifford Ray Sliger, 62, of Kingman Monday for felony aggravated assault per domestic violence. Deputies responded around 4:47 a.m. to a disturbance at a residence in the 3100 block of East Leroy Avenue. Upon arrival, deputies contacted the reporting party, who said she was awoken by Sliger, her roommate, throwing trash and items on her bedroom floor. She also alleged that Sliger hit her with his cane while she was lying in bed. Deputies observed the woman bleeding from a laceration on the middle of her forehead, but she refused medical treatment. During conversations with Sliger, he allegedly admitted to hitting Graham with his cane. He was arrested without incident.
The woman was also arrested and charged with misdemeanor possession after reportedly producing drug paraphernalia while speaking with deputies.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Pokey Lee Evans, 40, of Golden Valley Tuesday for felony possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies assisted a probation officer around 10 a.m. at a residence in the 3400 block of North Verde Road where Evans was contacted. A search of the residence reportedly yielded a glass pipe with burnt residue and a plastic bag containing an unknown brown substance. He was arrested without incident, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Steven Leo Briones, 47, of Golden Valley Tuesday for felony burglary. Deputies responded around 5:20 p.m. to a residence in the 4500 block of West Abrigo Drive in reference to a male subject rummaging through a vehicle and making off with a golf cart wheel and tire. While enroute, deputies were informed of another incident down the street from Abrigo Drive involving a male subject at an unoccupied house. Upon arrival, deputies contacted a male subject identified as Briones in the area of Aztec Road and Abrigo Drive and found him with the golf cart wheel and tire. Briones was then taken into custody without incident. Deputies proceeded to the 4500 block of West Abrigo Drive and contacted the initial caller, who said that he confronted Briones while Briones was going through his vehicle. The man said Briones was wearing the man's rain jacket and his tool belt. Briones reportedly returned the rain jacket and tool belt but left with the wheel and tire. During conversations with Briones, he allegedly said that he had permission from the man to take the property. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
