On Sept. 2, Kingman Police officers arrested Jahn Khristopher Johns, 20, of Kingman on two felony charges of burglary to a vehicle, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Officers contacted Johns in the 1000 block of Bellcourt Circle regarding a report of suspicious activity.

During a search, officers reportedly discovered Johns was in possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia, as well as other items that were later identified as being taken from parked vehicles in the 900 and 1000 blocks of Mountain View Drive.

He was taken into custody without incident.

On Sept. 3, Kingman Police officers arrested Nickolaus Anthony Gerencser, 44, of Kingman on a felony charge of weapons misconduct.

Officers responded to Gerencser's residence in the 2100 block of Valentine Avenue regarding a disturbance.

During the investigation, officers reportedly discovered an assault-style rifle. Gerencser, said police, is prohibited from possessing such a weapon.

He was taken into custody without incident.

On Sept. 4, Kingman Police officers arrested Jared Walker Perea, 29, of Kingman on felony charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia and two misdemeanor warrants issued by Kingman Municipal Court for contempt of court.

Officers contacted Perea at a motel in the 3300 block of E. Andy Devine Avenue. A records check revealed the warrants and a search reportedly revealed Perea was in possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia.

He was taken into custody without incident.

On Sept. 4, Kingman Police officers arrested Floyd Allen Elwell III, 23, of Kingman on a felony charge of third-degree burglary and four warrants for probation violation issued out of Mohave and Maricopa counties.

Officers had responded to a burglary in progress call at a business in the 2100 block of Stockton Hill Road when they heard breaking glass and reportedly saw Elwell climbing out of the business through a window.

Elwell, according to police, attempted to flee on foot, but was taken into custody after pursuing officers shot him with a Taser. Elwell, who police said attempted to falsely identify himself, reportedly admitted involvement in the offense. He was taken into custody without further incident.
