Deputies spotted Carson operating a quad on John L. Avenue without proper licensing. Carson reportedly kept driving after deputies attempted to make a traffic stop. He turned onto Melody Street and then drove into a wash, where he overcorrected and was forced to stop. A record check revealed the suspended license and warrants. A search allegedly revealed Carson was in possession of a plastic bag containing 3.5 grams of white crystal substance that field-tested positive for methamphetamine and two partially smoked marijuana cigarettes. Deputies allegedly smelled an odor of alcohol coming from inside the vehicle. Crow allegedly told deputies he had a few beers earlier in the evening. A records check revealed Crow to have a suspended driver's license. Crow was taken into custody after a series of field sobriety tests and transported to the Mohave County Sheriff's Office where an analysis revealed his blood alcohol concentration to be .259 percent.
