The cleaner

On April 18, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Roger James Brodbeck, 36, of Kingman on a charge of felony trespassing. Deputies responded to a home in the 4600 block of Powell Avenue. They reportedly observed Brodbeck sitting on the living room floor holding a necklace. He was ordered outside and allegedly told deputies he was there to clean the residence with the owner's permission. Deputies contacted the owner who said Brodbeck did not have permission to be in the home. He was taken into custody without incident.

Smoking meth

On April 19, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jennifer Ashley Roach, 24, and Marcus Jacob Lloyd, 21, both of Glendale. Roach was charged with felony possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor DUI. Lloyd was charged with possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies stopped Roach in the area of Benton Street and Gordon Drive at about 12:40 a.m. As deputies spoke with Roach, Lloyd reportedly became disruptive and he was detained. A search allegedly revealed a glass pipe that contained methamphetamine.

Lloyd reportedly told deputies that he and Roach smoked methamphetamine "just prior to the traffic stop," which led to Roach being charged with the DUI. A K9 unit was called to the scene and K9 Ecko indicated there were drugs, but a search failed to yield any contraband. Lloyd was taken into custody without incident. Roach was taken to Kingman Regional Medical Center without incident for a blood draw before she was transported to the Mohave County jail.

Push comes to shove

On April 19, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jaydee Scott Becker, 23, of Kingman on felony possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor assault by domestic violence. Deputies responded to a home in the 3600 block of Butler Avenue regarding a caller who said her grandson assaulted her at abut 2:50 p.m. The woman, 58, told deputies that Becker called her names before he pushed her. Becker allegedly admitted he pushed his grandmother after she "got in his face." He was taken into custody without incident and a search allegedly revealed he was in possession of a glass pipe with residue.

'It's my marijuana'

On April 21, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Chad William Derrick, 42. Derrick, the passenger in a car that had been pulled over for multiple equipment violations and expired registration, was arrested for felony possession of narcotics, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies stopped the vehicle just after midnight in the 4500 block of Stockton Hill Road. A record check revealed the misdemeanor warrants for the driver and he was taken into custody without incident.

Deputies spoke with Derrick, the passenger, and reportedly observed a green pill bottle between his legs. "It's my marijuana," Derrick reportedly said when questioned. He was taken into custody without incident and a search of the vehicle allegedly revealed a clear plastic vial containing hashish, a narcotic and two pipes with residue. Derrick reportedly told deputies the pipes were his.
