Burglary

On June 27, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Cody Walter Carey, 34, of Dolan Springs on a felony warrant for burglary and trafficking in stolen property issued by Mohave County Superior Court.

Deputies took Carey into custody at a home in the 14900 block of Elm Drive regarding the warrant at about 10:20 a.m. He was taken into custody without incident.



DUI

On June 27, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Benito Torres-Arrequin, 28, of Kingman on a felony charge of aggravated DUI.

Deputies observed a Dodge truck Torres-Arrequin was driving allegedly drift across the centerline and back and slow down and speed up before stopping him on Castle Rock Road at Sunshine Drive at about 9:30 p.m.

Torres-Arrequin reportedly told deputies he had consumed four beers. He allegedly failed field sobriety tests and deputies reportedly found an open alcoholic beverage in the vehicle. A blood sample was taken and sent to the state lab for analysis. He was taken into custody without incident.



Meth

On June 28, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Fernando Galindo Jacobo, 24, on felony charges of possession of dangerous drugs. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Glen Road near Northern Avenue at about 12:36 a.m. and allegedly detected a slight odor of marijuana.

A search did not turn up marijuana, but deputies allegedly found a plastic bag containing methamphetamine. He was taken into custody without incident.



More meth

On June 28, Kingman Police arrested Sonya Rose Wimpee, 36, of Kingman on felony charges of possession of dangerous drugs, possession of paraphernalia and a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant issued by an unspecified court. Police contacted Wimpee at 6:40 p.m. in an unrelated incident and was allegedly found in possession of methamphetamine and the associated paraphernalia. She was taken into custody without incident.



Theft, pot

On June 29, Kingman Police arrested Blaine Allan Wagner, 26, of Golden Valley on felony charges of organized retail theft, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. Police responded to Walmart after Wagner allegedly picked up two items valued at about $30 to the customer service desk to receive a refund using a receipt from a previous purchase. A search of Wagner allegedly revealed he was in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia used to ingest methamphetamine. He was taken into custody without incident.



Pipe bust

On July 1, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Taina Jean Feil, 50, of Kingman on a felony charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies stopped Feil on Lomita Street at Devlin Avenue at about 9:50 a.m. K-9 Ecko and his handler was called to the scene and the dog reportedly alerted to the presence of drugs in the car.

A search allegedly revealed Feil was in possession of a glass pipe with a white residue. She was taken into custody without incident.



Unlawful flight, warrants, meth

On July 1, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Raymond Joseph Mangrum, 38, and Glyn Carl Olson, 41, both of Kingman. Mangrum was arrested on felony charges of unlawful flight from law enforcement and possession of drug paraphernalia, along with a misdemeanor charge of driving on a suspended license and a misdemeanor failure to pay fines warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court. Olson faces a felony charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and two misdemeanor failure to pay fines warrants issued by Kingman Municipal Court. Deputies saw a vehicle with a cracked windshield at about 2:25 p.m. in the area of Snavely Avenue and Melody Street, but Mangrum, the driver, allegedly kept driving until he pulled over on Marshal Drive.

Mangrum was taken into custody without further incident. A search allegedly revealed a glass pipe with burnt residue and a record check revealed his license was suspended and the warrant. A record check also revealed Olson's warrants and he was taken into custody without incident. A search of the vehicle allegedly revealed four plastic bags containing white residue under the front passenger seat, where Olson was sitting.



Heroin

On July 1, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Sonny Hugh Fairbanks, 34, of Kingman on felony charges of possession of narcotics, two counts, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies responded to the area of Jimme Drive and Hearne Avenue regarding a report of a man going through residential mailboxes at about 5:35 p.m. Deputies made contact with a man walking who matched the caller's description. Fairbanks reportedly denied looking in mailboxes, but he acted nervous before giving deputies consent to search him. They allegedly found a cellophane wrapper containing a black tar substance and syringe filled with a black liquid. He was taken into custody without incident.



Stealing from Grandma

On July 2, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Alex Allen Adams, 21, of Dolan Springs on a felony charge of theft of use of transportation. Deputies responded to a home in the 17200 block of Manor Drive regarding a theft at about 12:40 p.m. The victim, a 74-year-old woman, told deputies she suspected Adams, her grandson, took her 1994 Jeep Cherokee without her permission.

The woman later called deputies to advise them her grandson was in the area of the 15900 block of Pierce Ferry Road at about 5:30 p.m. Deputies located Adams, who allegedly told them he didn't have permission to take the vehicle. He was taken into custody without incident and the Jeep was returned to the woman.



Failure to pay child support

On July 2, Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Russell Lee Grizzle, Sr., 56, of Kingman on a felony warrant for nonpayment of child support issued by Mohave County Superior Court. Deputies stopped Grizzle at about 9:05 p.m. in the 4300 block of Benton Street and a record check revealed the warrant. He was taken into custody without incident.
