Peach Springs boy honored

KINGMAN - Kristofferson Walker, a senior at Seligman High School, has been named the Boys & Girls Club 2014 Peach Springs Branch Youth of the Year.

In addition to representing the Hualapai Indian Community branch as Youth of the Year for the next 12 months and earning $1,000 scholarship from General Dynamics C4 Systems, Walker was honored at Celebrate Youth on Saturday in the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Resort at Scottsdale.

Walker, who has been a member of the Peach Springs Branch for seven years, is a dedicated local fundraiser and volunteer who has been active in many Club programs.
