Kingman Letter: Reasons to vote against Obama

Promises broken:

1. All bills to be posted on the White House website five days before signing.

2. Health care negotiations broadcast on C-SPAN.

3. Ending earmarks. (Harry Reid: "Budget, what budget?")

4. Closing of the Guantanamo detention centers.

5. New era of global cooperation.

6. End of hiring former lobbyists for White House jobs.

7. New era of bipartisan cooperation ("Stop the tantrums, Barack Hussein Obama!)

8. No special interest influences (e.g., unions...yeah, sure).

9. Disclose the names of all White House special meetings attendees.

10. Drum roll, please...Lower unemployment. Yep, that's right folks, he promised it as a result of spending billions and billions of the money you worked to obtain.

11. Drum roll, please...Reduction of the deficit. That's gone well. He's added $6 trillion to the debt burden our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren will bear.

And now, for the really frightening reason to vote against Obama: President Joe Biden.

Imagine that doofus as our president if something tragic happened of Barack Hussein.

@ Continued Improvement..

Yep, you're right. There have been no wars, (whether declared or not), in the past 4 years. Gotta love the current administration.

“We don't read those lists of lies because we SEE with our own eyes what obama has and has not done, what promises he has broken, etc.”

And yet you refuse to address each item and explain why it is bad for America and Americans.

“By contrast, Geo Bush never missed his daily intel meeting, had them 6 days a week.”

And just think, if he had actually paid attention 9/11 would never have happened.

Oops! Here's another reason to not vote for obama.

A dead ambassador, handful of dead staff. Obama says Egypt is not an ally, tries walking it back, rarely goes to intel meetings. Most sophisticated consumer of intelligence, doesn't need the meetings his White House says. Narcissism.

Here's the difference in attendance between Bush and obama.

The Gov't Accountability Institute, conservative investigative org, examined obama's schedule from day 1 thru last June. His Presidential Daily Briefs (PDB) where he is briefed on the most critical intelligence threats to our country.

First 1225 days, o attended PDB just 536 times or 43.8% of time.
2011 and first half of 2012, fell to 38%. Valerie Jarrett, the woman who really runs the White House says obama is just so intelligent, he gets bored easily. Perhaps the meetings bored him.

By contrast, Geo Bush never missed his daily intel meeting, had them 6 days a week.

Bush usually had the VP, WH Chief of Staff, Nat'l Security Advisor, Director of Natl Intel or their deputies and CIA briefers in attendance.

Once weekly, he expanded to include Homeland Security Advisor, FBI director and other Homeland security officials. He also invited intel analysts in the Oval Ofc for 100 "deep dives" to get their unvarnished, sometimes differing views which helped analysts better understand what he grappled with and their views.

Frankly, he doesn't sound like a dope at all to me. He sounds like he really cared that we were kept safe. Obama sounds like a dope.

So what does obama do in the mornings? We know he never starts having meetings until 10:30 or 11:00 AM, golfs a lot, is lazy. Bush started his days at 6AM.

Bush took the job seriously. And obama....draw your own conclusions.

Poor letter writer has a very, very short memory of what a Republican administration gives us -

Why do you people keep sending letters in about politics, and why does the miner keep posting them!!?? These letters should be good things or complaints about the CITY NEWS AND EVENTS!! Not someones political news.

Uh Doing Research:

We don't read those lists of lies because we SEE with our own eyes what obama has and has not done, what promises he has broken, etc.

He said unemployment down or I'm a 1-termer. It isn't. He said he was closing Gitmo. He didn't.

Did you know Samantha Powers advised obama bow to the Saudi King in a subservient manner because it would acknowledge we are imperfect, caused a lot of problems, but now we are one of them. The Ottomons ruled the Arabs 600 years. Apparently he forgot there were worse people than us.

In Cairo, first visit, not to Israel, he said "I've come to seek a new beginning between the US and muslims worldwide". We see where that has gotten us. The Arab street is in disarray and he and Hillary have no clue what happened.

This bears repeating!! Haha!

.12. Complete destabilization of the middle east under his inept backing of the wrong side....as usual.

13. Thrown Netanyahu and Israel under the bus repeatedly.

He has consistently practiced picking the winners and losers in everything. He has consistently picked wrong. Solyndra, Egypt, Libya come to mind. Said nothing when Iranian students begged for our help.

Now the middle east is on fire, Israel is in a very precarious position and his brilliant Secy of State (you know, the one who blamed Bill's loose zipper problems on the right wing conspiracy) is blaming the entire mess on one man's video on Facebook.

She, in her never ending failure to be honest, will not admit this was a coordinated effort pulled off on 9-11 and had NOTHING whatsoever to do with this movie.

The Egypt government did not protect our embassy there. The next few weeks will be very telling - perhaps why one Nevada Democrat Congresswoman has asked for Congress to shut down for seven weeks, until after the election. Gee, wonder what her motive is?

Jimmy Carter has nothing on the ineptness of barack obama.

Reasons to vote for Obama

More illegal immigrants captured and deported (more than 400,000) over the past 3.5 years than during the Reign of error of The Criminal.

American auto industry on verge of collapse four years ago was saved. Hundreds of thousands of jobs saved.

Osama bin Laden killed.

95% of Americans paying a lower rate of taxes as compared to three years ago.

War in Iraq ended with all troops now out of the country.

Ended DADT with no negative impact to the troops.

Tax credits for businesses that hire returning veterans.

Osama bin Laden dead.

Ended illegal torture otherwise known as waterboarding.

Health care reform—no more refusal of coverage of preexisting conditions, children can stay on parent’s insurance until 26, closed prescription donut hole for seniors. More reforms to come.

Financial industry and credit card industry reform which led to the formation of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

And explain why any of the following are bad for America or Americans.

And why do you feel that ensuring women receive equal pay for equal work is wrong? Health care for children is wrong? Regulations controlling the people who sent us into the economic morass are wrong? Enforcing fraud laws is wrong? Protecting Americans from the abuses of the credit card industry is wrong? Shutting down off-shore tax havens used by drug dealers and thieves is wrong? Providing criminal penalties for mortgage fraud is wrong? Adding additional loan programs for small businesses is wrong? Shutting off access to federal contracts by tax cheats is wrong? Cracking down on high seas piracy is wrong? Bringing about reforms in the student loan program is wrong?

Did you think a politician ever was going to fulfill ALL their campaign promises? Did you just fall off a turnip truck?

Here's a list of all the ones Bush broke or didn't fulfill

And here's a much longer list of promises Obama has kept:

BTW - that's just page 1 of 10.... meaning that at 20 "kept promises" per page, Obama has kept something like 190 campaign promises.

I find this letter writers speech amusing, those for Obama in the democatic party have already decided, those in the republican party have already decided to either vote for Romney or stay home in case of the many evangelicals who will not vote for Romney or Obama! Independents always determine these close call elections, 53% in 2008 was not a land slide, and I cannot imagine Romney winning by any land slide, but if I can survive Nixon, Reagan and 2 Bushes I think I can survive a Romeny or Obaam, doubt this letter will garner a single vote one way or the other!

This is hilarious.#2 - I can imagine what would be said if the gov controlled commercial TV. #10 and 11 - more of a world situation and not just the small role the US plays in the global picture. #8 is perhaps the best of all. You need to look at the role that the Koch Brothers, Monsanto, Bank of America, Chase, Wells Fargo, and others play in influencing politics. One wealthy man has donated $100 M because Mitt'st tax cuts will save him $2 billion in taxes. The Republicans have NOTHING for the average person.
