Kingman letters:Obama worse than a low-life shyster

In the Aug. 14 Daily Miner, Ms. Lori Gabriel-Dane called Gov. Romney a "low-life shyster in an expensive suit" for not releasing his tax returns from before 2010. Ms. Gabriel-Dane, I would like to list for you just a few of President Obama's actions that qualify him, in my mind, as worse than a low-life shyster.

Among President Obama's impressive list of accomplishments are:

He spent a trillion dollars on "shovel ready" jobs that never existed;

He has obstructed oil drilling when America needs it most;

He has caused Canada to sell their Keystone Pipeline to China;

He gave billions of dollars to Brazil to drill for oil and build refineries only to have Brazil sign a contract to sell all that oil to China;

He withdrew legal existing coal permits in Colorado and Utah, putting thousands out of work;

He terminated America's ability to put a man in space;

He has ordered our Border Patrol not to comply with our U.S. laws;

He ordered an amnesty program to stop deportation of illegal aliens;

He sued Boeing Aircraft to try to stop them from operating a plant in a right-to-work state that would provide thousands of jobs;

He sided with a foreign government (Mexico) against one of America's own 50 states (Arizona).

What about President Obama's Social Security number being from a state he never lived in, his being listed as a foreign aid student in college, his sealed educational records, his sealed medical and travel records? What about the fact that he and Mrs. Obama both had to "voluntarily surrender" their law licenses? The Illinois Attorneys Disciplinary Committee says President Obama had to surrender his because of "lies on his bar application" and Mrs. Obama had to surrender hers or face trial for insurance fraud.

Ms Gabriel-Dane, you need to get in touch with reality.

and in other news "Water Is Wet"

LOL

The only people who did not figure it out on Day 1, or at least pretended they thought otherwise, were obama and his lackies.

Good thing it will be repealed.

CBO raises estimate of those hit by Obama health care tax

Six million Americans will pay the health care tax rather than obtain coverage under President Obama’s health care law, according to a new Congressional Budget Office estimate Wednesday — a 50 percent increase over CBO’s estimate of just two years ago.

""At this point the only thing I really remember is Clint Eastwood's bizarre performance with the empty chair. Maybe the GOP should have nominated the chair instead of R-Money, considering the way things have gone since then.""

If the Dems would have just taken their medicine and ignored it, then it would not have turned out to be the symbolic hit that it is. The irony of it all, is that it will be the legacy of Obamy - the empty chair sitting with Letterman while the Mideast burns away, along with the nations debt, and on our children's backs..

If there was a tribute to George W. Bush at the convention I must have missed it, because I don't remember it. Heck most of the speakers barely mentioned R-Money either. It was all "look at me, I'm going run for president next time."

At this point the only thing I really remember is Clint Eastwood's bizarre performance with the empty chair. Maybe the GOP should have nominated the chair instead of R-Money, considering the way things have gone since then.

"“Unemployment still over 8%.”

Thanks to the Republicans refusal to deal with the transportation and job bills. "

Or maybe this is why:

How Obama is killing jobs:

•$22.1 Billion - The Obama administration currently has 24 “economically significant” regulations in the works that will result in “$22.1 billion in costs and more than 2.6 million paperwork burden hours”.

•$46 Billion - “A total of 106 new major regulations have been imposed” by the Obama administration “at a cost of more than $46 billion annually, and nearly $11 billion in one-time implementation costs” – a five-fold increase over the previous administration.

•$515 Billion - According to the NFIB’s analysis, “there are currently 4,128 federal regulations in the pipeline which, if implemented, will impose costs of more than $515 billion on the U.S. economy.”

•34,000 Pages - Compilation of All U.S. Regulations, many imposed on job creators is 34,000 pages in length and weighs in at more than 340 lbs.

•$10,585v - Financial Burden Small Businesses Face Per Employee to Comply with Federal Regulations. According to the Small Business Administration, small businesses pay $10,585 per employee each year to comply with federal regulations .

Gas prices are up 16 cents per gallon just this last week...over $4 a gallon across the country.

How about those dozens of e-mails where the DOJ has been directing Media Matters as to what to report to you tinfoil heads? Incredible, isn't it? Did you know they are tax exempt, supposed to be an agency that watches both sides of the aisle.

Instead, David Brock stated he is simply out to bury Fox News. Tax exempt!!

Your "some places" doesn't hold up AT ALL with the national average.

And Obamy OWNS the national debt issue, because his answer is to whine and keep the spending status quo.

Speaking of gas prices, the GOP certainly likes to tout the fact that gas prices have doubled under President Obama. However, they always conveniently leave out the fact that prices were even higher under the presidency of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Mentioned-At-The-GOP-Convention. In July, 2008 the prices peaked at $4.12/gallon nationally (Source: Gas Buddy.com).

They also never mention the fact that the main reason prices were so low the day of Obama’s inauguration (less than $2/gallon) was the worldwide economic collapse that happened between July 2008 and January 2009. You know the economic collapse that was brought on by the deregulation of Wall Street and the banksters? The same deregulation that the GOP wants to bring back under an R-Money administration. Yeah that one.

“Yeah, obama, you're really doing a great job.”

Yes, he is and I’m glad to see you realize it. BTW – remember, “The president is not responsible for gas prices” quote from the Right Wing Loons during the $5 a gallon gas mess during The Criminals Ring of error.

So, gas is just now getting to the levels of the summer of 2008 under Bush, good to know.

To AZ Biker"

Even if what you wrote was true, liberals wouldn't be the ones who will have to worry about Obama's EO. Conservatives, now that might be a different story! lol

The NDDA authorizes $662 billion in funding, among other things "for the defense of the United States and its interests abroad." In a signing statement, President Obama described the Act as addressing national security programs, Department of Defense health care costs, counter-terrorism within the U.S. and abroad, and military modernization. The Act also imposes new economic sanctions against Iran, commissions appraisals of the military capabilities of countries such as Iran, China, and Russia, and refocuses the strategic goals of NATO towards "energy security." The Act also increases pay and healthcare costs for military service members and gives governors the ability to request the help of military reservists in the event of a hurricane, earthquake, flood, terrorist attack or other disaster." (www.thinkprogress.com)

The Act also declares the right to detain American citizens if they are believed to be a threat to our country's national security or aiding and abetting al Queda or the Taliban. You have heard of domestic terrorists, right? You know, people like Timothy McViegh! So, AZ, unless you are palling around with terrorists, planning to blow up some government building, or planning an assasination attempt, I doubt the police will be kicking down your door in the middle of the night.

@Biker

"And last week a Federal Judge permanently blocked the "Arrest and Indefinite Detention of Americans" provision in Obama's NDAA Executive Order."

Nice attempt at some fear mongering there. In case you have forgotten, the NDAA was NOT an executive order, it was a bill passed by BOTH houses of Congress that Obama was forced to sign due to the military budget approval being in it.

@Anon

You are incorrect on something sir/madam. Bill Clinton was indeed impeached. Impeachment is merely the bringing of charges, he was acquitted and not removed from office however.

“I don't know about the rest of you on here, but I am sick and tired of Anson's Nephew demanding dates, times, sources from everyone he doesn't agree with.”

That is incorrect as I have stated many times I ONLY ask for verification information when I am unable to find any reference to the nonsensical blather that shows up here day in and day out from the usual suspects.

“Notice how you don't see the same attacks from people that he agrees with no matter how outrageous the claim.”

That is because the information provided is accurate and correct and I verified it. BTW there have been times when I’ve corrected “people I agree with” when they post erroneous information.

“We want sources, not just your word. Just fed up with the hypocrisy.”

I did source information for a couple of months and then grew tired of one of the usual suspects denigrating the source and posting inane comments. So I am now taking the tact of one of the usual suspect by not sourcing anything and waiting for people to disprove what I post. Which never happens – instead I am attacked on a personal level with no regard to the information posted.

Best advice – stop reading my posts.

“ … she would see that Mitt has a proven track record of good business practices, …”

Sorry, but million of us feel that bankrupting American companies, putting American’s out of work, stealing the pensions of American workers, taking away the health care of American workers and sending those American jobs to COMMUNIST CHINA while hiding your wealth overseas is not the hallmark of a true American.

“There is no history of obama doing one damned thing for ANYONE except for obama and EVERYONE KNOWS IT!!!”

I will now ask – again – why any of the following are bad for America and Americans.

More illegal immigrants captured and deported (more than 400,000) over the past 3.5 years than during the Reign of error of The Criminal.

American auto industry on verge of collapse four years ago was saved.

Osama bin Laden killed.

95% of Americans paying a lower rate of taxes as compared to three years ago.

War in Iraq ended with all combat troops now out of the country.

Tax credits for businesses that hire returning veterans.

And why do you feel that ensuring women receive equal pay for equal work is wrong? Health care for children is wrong? Regulations controlling the people who sent us into the economic morass are wrong? Enforcing fraud laws is wrong? Protecting Americans from the abuses of the credit card industry is wrong? Shutting down off-shore tax havens used by drug dealers and thieves is wrong? Providing criminal penalties for mortgage fraud is wrong? Adding additional loan programs for small businesses is wrong? Shutting off access to federal contracts by tax cheats is wrong? Cracking down on high seas piracy is wrong? Bringing about reforms in the student loan program is wrong?
