Kingman Letter: Obama's performance is Carteresque

President Obama has surpassed Jimmy Carter's reign during the Iranian Embassy crisis as the most ineffective president to occupy the White House in our history. Against many warnings, Obama backed the Arab spring as an awakening of freedom. It has instead been a nightmare of Islamism.

On our 9/11 anniversary, U.S. Libyan Ambassador Stevens, along with three staff members, were killed. The Cairo embassy was breached, our U.S. flag torn down and replaced by an Islamic flag.

Prior to this heinous act, we apologized to the Muslims for a Facebook video that might hurt their feelings. Apparently Catholics' feelings don't count.

Reaganesque like, Romney immediately condemned the acts, as did Ryan. They were maligned by Obama, the press, even Republicans, but Romney looked very presidential. Mr. Obama did not.

Once, Jewish Reform Rabbi Joffe asked Obama about his expertise in Middle East policy. His reply - he had none but Rahm Emmanuel was explaining it to him.

Obama's "lead from behind" policy has emboldened our enemies and destabilized the Mideast, fostering this crisis.

While I'm at it, let's correct the Iftar Ramadan dinners Obama gives annually where he always states Jefferson had the first Iftar dinner. He did not. He fed dinner to one lone Muslim diplomat, probably never heard of Iftar dinners.

Another Obama statement, that Islam was part of our founding. Not exactly. North African Muslims captured our seamen, so while in London, Ambassadors Adams and Jefferson inquired as to why the attacks. It was explained to them the Islamic Prophet in the Quran taught to capture all who were not Muslim. Being slain doing so was a ticket straight to Paradise.

Jefferson took a Quran to further study these kidnappers of Americans and that's the Jefferson Quran liberals fondly speak about.

I commend Mitt Romney for standing up to terrorism rather than apologizing.

This Sunday morning, obama's UN Ambassador Susan Rice was being asked questions about the middle-east. She explained the president always prioritizes everything. Really?

Perhaps she could explain why obama is imposing crippling cuts on the core functions of our national defense while dumping 20,000 Volts at 40 Army installations alone with more on the way.

While the DOD buys up the Volt, a product of his failed green policy, tricare for veterans will be cut, defense technologies will be cut, soldiers will pay more for health care, 20,000 more Marines cut and those in the line of fire will be more vulnerable.

Not to worry - he has it all prioritized. Like making his first foreign trip to Egypt in 2009 where he basically declared all is well I am Obama and I am here, I grew up in islamic Indonesia, my half sister is muslim. therefore I will raise the oceans and bring peace to the world.

They have responded with who the hell cares who you are - the important point is you are pandering to us from a point of weakness. Mr. obama, the chickens have come home to roost.

Absolutely shamelessly, as did Hillary, Rice explained that the entire muslim world on fire is due to one 12 minute anti-mohammed trailer most in the mid-east had never even heard of much less seen and which is so innocuous, many miss it's point.

Her pea brain missed the militarily put together attacks, not young street thugs, known in advance in an out of the way outpost w/little security. And this in an unstable country where our people needed security, especially on 9-11. This is shameful!!

There has been a Ramadan dinner at the White House every year since 1996. Yes, that means Bush even hosted one in 2001 of all years.

As to Jefferson, that is still debatable, he did host a dinner and did move the time back a couple of hours to accomodate. May not be an official Ramadan dinner, but sure sounds close enough for me.
