Kingman letters: Obama has lived up to expectations

There were and are still many reasons to distrust Hillary Rodham Clinton. That distrust was not transferred to Barack Hussein Obama. There were many more reasons to distrust Obama, reasons he brought with him when he won the Democrats' nomination. Those reasons are as valid today as they were four years ago. In 2008, what we expected from Obama was: 1) Appeasement with nuclear Iran and North Korea; 2) Relinquishing American sovereignty to the United Nations; 3) Amnesty for illegal aliens and wide-open borders; 4) Costly environmental regulations; 5) Heavy increases in the cost of living; 6) Immense increases in taxpayer funded entitlements; and 7) Nominating activist Supreme Court justices.

Those reasons to distrust Obama materialized as failures and disappointments, and in addition to those elements of distrust shrouding him in 2008, he has provided many new reasons to detest and fear him: 1) His world "apology tour" upon taking office; 2) Bowing to Muslim sheiks and kissing their hands (that's a metaphor); 3) Condoning the dismissal of voter intimidation charges against the New Black Panthers and hiring more than 100 radical, zealot leftist lawyers in the Department of Justice and the Fast and Furious gun control conspiracy; 4) Compelling churches to violate their religious doctrine and provide abortion and birth control services for women; 5) Violating U.S. law through Executive Order Amnesty; 6) Extreme pandering to special interest groups; 7) $800B stimulus package for his union cronies; and 8) Another 600-plus reasons can be found in the September issue of National Review or at www.nationalreview.com.

A President McCain would never bow to or kiss the "hand" of foreign potentates or demand Miranda rights and civilian jury trials for killers of Americans. A President McCain would never denigrate American soldiers as Obama has. A President McCain would not attempt a "below-the-radar" gun control scheme and would never demand that churches be stripped of their First Amendment rights.

For four years, the government of the United States of America has been in the hands of this radical fascist. This leftist ideologue has earned our contempt and, yes, our hatred.

D.B. Mitchell

“Ryan is a self made man and owns a heavily Democrat district in a Democrat state.”

Now that is funny! Lil Ayn Ryan has sucked off the taxpayers since he was sixteen and never stopped. He has never held a “real” job. “Self made man” OMG, that is the funniest line of the week.

Last night I saw a clip where Howard Sterns asked 2012 election questions of people on the street. Here are a couple of typical answers.

Q: Do you like John McCain's pick of Sarah Palin and who will you vote for? A. I will vote for McCain but not Palin.

Q. Does it bother you that obama is a Mormon? A. It didn't really bother this person.

Nearly all the answers were like this. Obama knows these people are out there. These are the ones his people target for votes. Scary and pathetic. Mindless robots.

@Just Stop

You, kind sir or madam, have gotten my point. Thank you.

They're both pretty OK at best and we all deserve better than either of these guys. Neither is an FDR or Lincoln or Andrew Jackson by any stretch of the imagination.

But if you're going to put a gun to my head and make me choose one or the other, it's a clear I'm picking Professor Thinktank over Thurston Howell IV. Heck, I've voted for the Green Party and Republicans in the past.

But none of that makes Romney a better mannequin... I mean candidate. Sorry.

Ryan is a self made man and owns a heavily Democrat district in a Democrat state.

Obama was mentored and molded and had everything handed to him. It's why he's so good with the teleprompter, sans the gaffes. And we don't even know how Obamy got in on our 'dime'.

I am not a conspiracy theorist in any way, having fully accepted The Criminals story about 9/11. Then I saw a film called “In Plane Sight” and I came away with more questions than answers, particularly – as Lori pointed out - about the Pentagon impact site. And today I still have questons with no answers.

Lori, there is a big difference between a stressed concrete curtain wall and 4 feet of Georgia Sandstone. The walls of the WTC were at most 1 foot thick at impact point. the walls of the pentagon are 3 feet thick at impact point. Planes are fragile. you can push a screwdriver though the skin of a 757 easily. The only "hard" parts on an aircraft are the engines...And I see 2 nice little punched holes in the Pentagon, at about the distance of a 757 wing mounted engines.

That would be Mr Obama in case you were wondering. Leader of this country has not held a private sector job AT ALL in his life. That tells you something right there.

Tired of it all:

Another dog that won't hunt. Of course we have solutions.

1. Stop spending more than we take in.
2. Dump the EPA and their crazed employees who have regulated people out of jobs, make getting drilling licenses take years and put restrictions on so many things, they cannot even be followed. Cafe standards come to mind. Costs jobs, costs money, destroys our country.
3. Go back to morality, something we have lost in America that started us down the wrong road.
4. Throw the marxists and communists out of the White House. Put in God fearing, moral people in their place.
5. Replace Eric Holder, the most corrupt DOJ in our history. Bring sanity back to Justice.
6. Go over every agency. Get rid of duplicates, downsize the government in every area you can.
7. Send Medicaid to the individual states completely. They can better assess their own states needs.
8. Let our friends worldwide (Israel) KNOW we have their backs. Get some cajones against the rest.
9. Review giving billions to rogue countries that hate us. Give them the have to do list - if they don't follow it, don't give them our money.
10. Renew our friendship with Poland.
11. Throw out obamacare immediately, saving us millions/billions.
12. Downsize government in every way possible.
13. Let Iran know we support Israel against a nuclear weapon.

Just a start, most Romney has already stated he wants to do.

Piers Morgan had Abamadinijad as his guest last night. Low ratings, Piers is desperate. Took sickening to watch....I shut it down, when Piers asked him about how many times he had been in love? Since the guy has no heart, I didn't think he was capable of love.

To Tj Denton:

Finally, we might be in agreement about something. If you look at the pictures of the gaping holes in the towers where the planes entered, you can actually see the span of the wings. The entry point at the Pentegon did not show this kind of damage. The sides of the hole did not look the same as the ones on the towers - the sides of the Pentagon's gaping hole were straight - no sign of wings striking the building. And you're right - no airplane wreckage was visable. And I swear, one of the first images I saw on TV was taken from a security camera of the supposed "plane" striking the building. But it looked more like a missle than a plane. I never saw that same video footage again. You won't find any pictures of airplane wreckage because I don't believe there ever was a plane. I don't know what would have happened to the plane that supposedly hit the Pentegon, and we will probably never know. And I truly believe that the plane that went down in Pennsylvania was shot down. I'm not saying that the passengers did not try to take the plane back from the terrorists, but that it was shot down before they could succeed. I don't usually believe in conspiracy theories, but this one, I do believe that the U.S. was somehow responsible, and that is why Bush ignored all those warnings about bin Laden attacking the U.S. with airplanes. And that is why Bush quicky ushered bin Laden's relatives out of the U.S.

Take what you just wrote about Mitt Romney and apply it to every single politician we have. Are any of them the "best" this country has to offer?

Is Obama the "best" the democratic party has? Nope.

“Change comes with a nation that has pride and dignity to choose a leader who will show a strong America..”

Well that certainly would not be Willard the Money hider who bankrupts American businesses, puts American workers on t street, steals the pensions of American workers cuts of the health care of American workers and send those American jobs to COMMUNIST CHINA while hiding his ill-gotten wealth off-shore where it will never benefit the nation. American business or American workes.

So who are you voting for?

@ Nancy R

Well, I'm neither an Obama "lover," nor a Democrat, but I this might help explain things - if Mitt Romney is the absolute BEST person to run this country out of every single Republican in the country, then he is a far sight short of what it takes.

Last I checked this country had ben run into the ground by policies enacted between 1996 and 2008, a majority of which were the result of Republican politicians (pressuring Clinton in '96 and '98) removing regulations such as the ones put in place to prevent the Great Depression from happening again. And just look where we are now. Funny....

Also, you need to look at each charge you or another Republican bring up against Obama being lame or whatever .... and realize that Romney is only good enough to tie - AT BEST - in most battleground states.

Which means that every insult you throw at Obama then puts Romney beneath that since he's not winning the race so far. Call Obama a socialist all you want, Romney has to tiptoe around Romneycare. Call Obama inexperienced - well he is the incumbent, so he has more years of experience being POTUS then Romney.

Do you see what I'm getting at? And the GOP can't even rally behind Romney enough to build him up into a better man than he is. And Romney's worst enemy is his own mouth since he gets his foot stuck in there twice a week.

These, Nancy, are real problems you and the GOP have to overcome to provide us with a candidate that will get votes. And that's why you don't hear Rush talking about it.

Willard the Money Hider proved why he should not be allowed anywhere near Washington D.C., let alone the White House with what has to be one of the dumbest statements to flow from his gaffe prone mouth. In talking about the fire on board the aircraft his wife was one, Willard said, “When you have a fire in an aircraft, there’s no place to go, exactly. You can’t find any oxygen from outside the aircraft to get in the aircraft, because the windows don’t open. The windows don’t open. I don’t know why they don’t do that. It’s a real problem. So it’s very dangerous."

What is “very dangerous” is the thought that this buffoon and his supporters actually want him to have access to the Big Red Button! What is terrifying is that someone that ignorant is allowed to speak in public. Willard, rent “Goldfinger!”

The big lie on social security is that its bankrupt, that it will ever go bankrupt! Anyone but me know someone like my father who died to young to draw one dime out of social security? Ever wonder why the right wing calls it a hand out when people paid out of their hard earned wages for this insurance? Two billionaire oil baron brothers created the tea party and other right wing alleged grass root organizations with their money with a idea of pushing social securities 7 trillion surplus into the wall street thieves hands! The only thing standing in their way is democrat party and its falling apart, their evil will not prevail, thank god!
