Kingman letters: Obama has lived up to expectations

There were and are still many reasons to distrust Hillary Rodham Clinton. That distrust was not transferred to Barack Hussein Obama. There were many more reasons to distrust Obama, reasons he brought with him when he won the Democrats' nomination. Those reasons are as valid today as they were four years ago. In 2008, what we expected from Obama was: 1) Appeasement with nuclear Iran and North Korea; 2) Relinquishing American sovereignty to the United Nations; 3) Amnesty for illegal aliens and wide-open borders; 4) Costly environmental regulations; 5) Heavy increases in the cost of living; 6) Immense increases in taxpayer funded entitlements; and 7) Nominating activist Supreme Court justices.

Those reasons to distrust Obama materialized as failures and disappointments, and in addition to those elements of distrust shrouding him in 2008, he has provided many new reasons to detest and fear him: 1) His world "apology tour" upon taking office; 2) Bowing to Muslim sheiks and kissing their hands (that's a metaphor); 3) Condoning the dismissal of voter intimidation charges against the New Black Panthers and hiring more than 100 radical, zealot leftist lawyers in the Department of Justice and the Fast and Furious gun control conspiracy; 4) Compelling churches to violate their religious doctrine and provide abortion and birth control services for women; 5) Violating U.S. law through Executive Order Amnesty; 6) Extreme pandering to special interest groups; 7) $800B stimulus package for his union cronies; and 8) Another 600-plus reasons can be found in the September issue of National Review or at www.nationalreview.com.

A President McCain would never bow to or kiss the "hand" of foreign potentates or demand Miranda rights and civilian jury trials for killers of Americans. A President McCain would never denigrate American soldiers as Obama has. A President McCain would not attempt a "below-the-radar" gun control scheme and would never demand that churches be stripped of their First Amendment rights.

For four years, the government of the United States of America has been in the hands of this radical fascist. This leftist ideologue has earned our contempt and, yes, our hatred.

How about muslim terrorists? Major Hasan of the Fort Hood shootings is a great example. Despite the fact that the obama administration wanted it to be catagorized as "workplace violence" (Anything to pander to his muslim friends) And i bet there are more hidden in the military. Certainly not thousands. According to the pentagon less than 4k muslims care enough about the US to be in the service. And that is in ALL branches. Must be that whole associating with infidels .Or maybe having to see bacon on the breakfast trays next to theirs.

LOL

""No member of the Taliban, lawyer or otherwise, serves in the US Government. Sorry you can't accept that.""

Multiple responses to lies allowed through like the one just quoted and nothing gets through. Not once. But garbage like Nephew's above is fair game.

Bye to wasting my time. Here's hoping the Miner can someday raise their standards.

@Neocons

This isn't hard to understand.

Here's the 2008 general election results broken down by wards in Chicago.

http://www.chicagoelections.com/wdlevel3.asp?elec_code=40

So Obama won Chicago in 2008 with 85.4% of the votes. Chicago's a big city.... and you'll see that in some wards Obama garnered 98% of the votes...and in others only 55%.

If you want a count by person, that means there were roughly 930,000 people for Obama and 150,000 against that voted for McCain in Chicago.

So let's do some math. Estimate that 10% of McCain supporters are extremely fervent Republicans. And that 10% of those were free on the night of this screening . You still have 1,500 possible people in the city of Chicago that night who would ave given any Republican-themed film a standing ovation. And you still only needed 5-10% of them to fill this room.

In real life we call that demographics and statistics.

Now let's flip this - did you know that in 2008 McCain only won Arizona with 53% of the vote? Obama got more actual votes in Maricopa Co. (620K) than McCain got in Chicago (150K). How's that for home town love?

You have to love the poor confused fools on FAUX News. Steve Douchey, on FAUX And Morons, railed on about how the “mainstream media” (who is that, anyway?) were “skewing” poll results in favor of Obama. What a pathetic little whiner. And then as he said that across the bottom of he screen ran “FOX News poll shows Obama up 5 points over Romney.” Seriously? These people all need to try and get on the same page.

I do believe the right wing looeny tunes are starting to realize their losing, and losing badly I have never really paid much attention to polls but when the right wings own polls show their man is losing one can pretty much feel that something is rotten in Denmark!

Research

@Neocons

What, you think it's impossible to get 200 Republicans in a room in Chicago? It's not like every single voter in the city voted for Obama. People have different opinions sometimes... Go look at the voting record for the precincts there. Was it 100% victory? no.""

Another little trick the Left likes to use is moving the standard to perfection or unreachable heights, then there's no way a point can be made.

In the real world, this is a FAIL.

How many points will Obama win Chicago by? THAT'S why the point stands.

Plus, one word for you: suburbs. Did you check where the people in the crowd were from? All of them FROM the CITY of Chicago? People drive places, you know.

"Ryan is not, nor is he running for, President so you have no point"

I suspect you may be someone under an alias though.
No point? How about the fact that he is running for VICE President? You know, the job considered the second most powerful in the world?(not that I believe that).

At least Joe Biden, for all his other faults, has held a real job.

Oh, and, one last thing. It shows Ryan is truly a hypocrite, wanting to cut and gut the very things that made him what he is today.

One of the 47 percentile victims spoke and said she is voting for Obama because he gave her a new cell phone.

How much of the final 48% of Obama's vote will come from the 'victim voting bloc'?

"You just described Paul Lyin Ryan to a T. Especially if you throw in "Went to college on our dime". and "Paul Ryan has had one paying job that is not on our dime in his life. "

So what? This describes Obama our president "to a T". Ryan is not, nor is he running for, President so you have no point - you're just trying to muddy the waters, you know, so no one pays attention to the man behind the curtain.

I’m sorry, but you have a tradition of not honoring such bets, so no, I will not bet with you. However, I am correct – now, prove me wrong. (Oops, I’ll bet I just “belittled” again).

“The Truth stands, just as it will after the election.”

So are you predicting again? That hasn’t worked well in the past has it. BTW – Lil Newtie is STILL not the nominee.

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton indicated for the first time on Wednesday that there was an explicit link between the Qaeda franchise in North Africa and the attack at the American diplomatic mission in Libya that killed four Americans, including the ambassador, J. Christopher Stevens.

"Ryan is a self made man and owns a heavily Democrat district in a Democrat state."

That almost made me choke from laughing. Paul Ryan has had one paying job that is not on our dime in his life. Driving the Wienermobile.

He grew up living on his fathers SS death benefits(which he now wants to cut) and went to college on that and Pell Grants(which he now wants to cut). Sorry, where I come from, that is living off of our dime. He is nowhere NEAR self made.
