Kingman Letter: Country is not for sale

With regards to the opinion page on Sept. 25, I would like to congratulate the Daily Miner for printing and the artist who submitted the Obama/Romney flag presentation.

This truly shows not only how the president holds himself in such high esteem as to denigrate our country's flag, a flag that so many have fought and died for, a flag that depicts the very essence of our liberties and freedoms that our 50 (not 57) states, to this point, enjoy.

I think The Washington Examiner said it best: "Obama is a classic Chicago machine pol who thrives on rewarding himself and his friends with the spoils of public office and uses his position to punish his enemies."

Think back to his four years in office of the many things this man has done to undermine our way of life, our laws that were passed that he refuses to enforce, and to anyone with an open mind and common sense, the answer should be crystal clear as to who has our country's best interest at heart.

Mr. President, our country is not for sale at any price.

Sam Wise

“It has all to do with the lack of jobs here and a whole bunch to do with sheriff Joe's illegal alien crack down!”

Of course it does! That has to be the funniest post of the week – good job.

“Well...which is it?”

Which is what? Where is the first one you “quoted”?

As to the voter fraud statement I quoted the stipulation as put forth by the State of Pennsylvania where they said there was “no evidence of voter fraud in Pennsylvania or anywhere else” – not my words, their’s.

But no matter how you attempt to spin this there is voter fraud and it has been manipulated by the Republicans. You should worry more about the Republicans cheating than my syntax. Do you agree that ever voter registration forms all across the nation turned in by the Republicans should be destroyed in order to maintain the integrity of the process?

Yeah...and that has nothing to do with Obama and his "do not act goons"! It has all to do with the lack of jobs here and a whole bunch to do with sheriff Joe's illegal alien crack down!

@Anson's Nephew

So if bush is a crimanl, than does that make Obama a criminal too? He followed Bush's Iraq plan to a tee, and even upped the funding and resources for the Afgan war.

BTW, what law did Bush break? AND BTW, if not for the Bush going to war in the first place, Bin Ladin would still be alive.

Re: AN on voter fraud

There is a better than even chance we will see his "You took what I said out of context" type response coming soon. Right after he cleans the rage spittle off his monitor.

Followed your link, and there it was.

Nice research effort

@Anson's Nephew...
"Uhh, no you did not. I have said The Criminal started the auto industry loan program (feel free to check the archives)."

"No, you did not notice any such thing. I have never made the statement that The Criminal started the auto loan program. Feel free to check the archives and then come back and apologize."

Well...which is it?

btw...here's the proof of what you said about voter fraud...and it wasn't just about PA. http://kdminer.com/main.asp?TypeID=1&ArticleID=52241&SectionID=36&SubSectionID=842&Page=2 Your comment of Aug 19th..."So basically all of the tales about rampant voter fraud in Pennsylvania and elsewhere are lies." Also on Aug 19th...."There is no voter fraud, no matter what some right wing hack may write. Evidence from the Pennsylvania trial proves that all of the voter fraud nonsense is just more lies in at attempt to mislead the intellectually challenged. There is no voter fraud – it is as simple as that." Aug 20th..."Once again, there is no voter fraud." And this is from just one article.

Yes....I did not quote the entire paragraph each time, to stay within the word limit....but several were stand alone comments and were not qualified in any way. Simply "There is no voter fraud." I'd say that's pretty clear. Esp when you consider the words "in Pennsylvania and elsewhere". Wouldn't elsewhere include AZ, FL and all the rest of the States?

“… did they ever get the fires put out on them for good?”

One fire – three weeks after an accident – in a junkyard – with no one around.

“I would rather drive an old Jeep or an old Ford pickup.”

How many “old Jeeps” and “old Ford pickups” have burned to the ground with people inside following a crash?

“Reread my statement and point out EXACTLY what part is not true.”

You said, “Obama and his goons refuse to shut off the invasion of our Mexico border.”

The facts are that since Obama and his “goons” took over the rate of illegals crossing the border has dropped by more than 70%. So obviously something Obama and his “goons” are doing is having a positive effect on stopping illegal border crossing.

Well looks like sad news for the national birther queen Orly Taitz, losing her mojo and supporters and seems to be begging for money now to persue her conspiracy theory in the courts!

Speaking of that Volt which has a price tag like a Cadillac, did they ever get the fires put out on them for good?

Not only would I never buy one, I wouldn't take one if you gave it to me. I would rather drive an old Jeep or an old Ford pickup.

"Al Qaeda obviously is NOT on the run."

Obviously they are. Are they out in the open anymore? No, they are in hiding. Do they still do evil things? Yes, of course they do. That doesn't mean that they are stronger now or that our president is to blame.

"The only thing the muslim world backs down to is strength. Their jihadi/sharia law philosophy teaches only violence. Strength is all that will hold them off."

So Faux News tells you. I know a number of Muslims who are good Americans and have nothing but contempt for terrorists. Because some priests abused children does that make all priests child abusers? I certainly don't think so and saying that would be based on faulty logic. The same thing goes with calling all Muslims extremists. Our founding fathers even agreed since they gave us freedom of religion.

"Reagan got it right."

If Reagan were running today you would call him a liberal. Just look at his record and you will be horrified.

I hope you have a great day.

I've noticed that works exactly the opposite for those on the right side of the aisle as well. It is called politics TJ, get used to it.

“Was President Bush really suppose to forget about all other aspects the war's and focus all our attention and resources on looking for one guy? As usual, the libs spin the context of what Bush said.”

Let’s see The Criminal said he would go after bin Laden and bring him back dead or alive. Less than six months later he said, “I truly am not that concerned about him. I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority." Which is pretty definitive in my book – he didn’t care and he wasn’t looking for him. – period.

Obama said he would get bin Laden and with an effective intelligence group and SEAL Team six the job was accomplished.

No spin, no “out of context.” One man gave up, the other followed through.

“How about that "No voter fraud" statement...ever going to own up?”

I posted the following yesterday when I was accused of running from the voter fraud subject, “Actually I am not running from anything. I simply reported on the State of Pennsylvania’s stipulation at the beginning of their trial when they said there is no voter fraud (feel free to check the archives). And I have now reported on the fact that there is and it is being perpetrated by the Republicans. I have not run from a thing, I simply reported events as they transpired. And I will now readily admit that the State of Pennsylvania was obviously incorrect in their stipulation.

”THERE IS massive voter fraud and it is all being done by the Republicans and I feel that every registration document nationwide turned in by the Republicans must now be either thrown out or carefully examined before the named individual is allowed to vote. In fact I may become a poll watcher in November and challenger every Republican that receives a ballot. We must band together to stop this Republican led voter fraud campaign.”

GM is not paying the loan back, in fact they want another loan. They took 540 million and built a plant in another country. Jobs lost here. They move some of their work to China. Jobs lost here.
President Obama purposefully and unjustly took away 2,200 self-sufficient, family owned businesses under the false premise that they were an expense on their auto manufacturer.
He deliberately put these people in debt with no way to recover.
The auto companies would not be as broke if upper management was not taking most of the money. Obama forced GM to build the Volt which has cost the company and taxpayers much money and no one is buying them. Gm still owes the taxpayers around 25 billion.

Think tank?

Al Qaeda obviously is NOT on the run. Do a little research, will you? Now we find out, embassy's in that vicinity had been hit repeatedly prior to 9-11, inside whistleblowers have provided info that obama admin had been asked repeatedly to give the Ambassadors compound more security - were denied resources by this admin. There was a dispute within the Blue Mountain Security (British) in Libya and our State Dept refused to get involved or look at the needs of our compound.

The only thing the muslim world backs down to is strength. Their jihadi/sharia law philosophy teaches only violence. Strength is all that will hold them off.

Reagan got it right. Peace through strength. Bush got it right too. Wasn't only looking for bin Laden - knew if he was dead, someone would replace him. Someone obviously has.

Obama is an amateur - declared to the world he killed bin Laden - believed al Qaeda was old news. Had he bypassed his usual narcissism, he would have known their plan to take over the world and one dead leader will certainly not stop them. I know his thinking.

1. Thought they cared he is basically muslim, lived in muslim country.
2. Was advised by one of his worthless advisors to bow to the muslims, look subservient.
3. Thought if he let them see him ignore Israel, instead go to Cairo where he put our country down, all would fall into place. Palestinians would get a state, the islamic world would become our best friends. Apparently missed the worldwide caliphate they intend to set up in his muslim studies.

Once again this is what happens when someone does not bother to do their research. The number of people illegally crossing the border from Mexico has DECREASED by nearly 70% since Obama took office (source INS)

To Sam Wise:

You wrote, "Mr. President, our country is not for sale at any price."

Then why is Sheldon Adelson willing to spend $100 million or more to buy it? Obviously, the Republicans are more than willing to sell this country to Adelson who makes his money in Communist China. They are willing to sell this country to the highest bidder.

I doubt he was ever personally hunting for him ever. Of course I seem to remember that BL was on the most wanted list for quite a few years..and I will bet my life that the anti-terrorist organizations never stopped.

So predictable. You have 5 pages of quotes and statements that you continually re-post as rebuttal. How about something original?

How about that "No voter fraud" statement...ever going to own up?

“yes, at a price tag for taxpayers.”

I personally feel that the loans – which are being paid back – to save the auto industry is a much wiser investment that two of the longest wars in our history, the deaths of close to 5,000 of our troops and the wounding of hundreds of thousands more.

“Yes, but on orders that were originally given by Bush, Obama simply re-affirmed Bush's original order.”
Actually The Criminal said this, just six months after 9/11, “‘I truly am not that concerned about him. I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority." - G.W. Bush, 3/13/02. And at that point gave up hunting for bin Laden.
“True, but at a cost to the future taxpayers,”

So you are now admitting that we must immediately raise taxes to get us out of the “trickle down” mess put in place by The Criminal?

‘“Health care reform’ - Not totally true”

Even that piece of garbage from the Right Wing Loon Washington Times proves that overall what I posted is accurate.

“Obama has done some good moves but the monetary cost of most of his decisions will hurt future generations for years to come”

You mean like equal pay for women, child health care, enforcement of fraud laws and the abuses by the banking industry, shutting down off-shore tax havens to avoid taxes, loan programs for small businesses, lower rates for student loans, etc, are all bad for America?

And of course the actions by The Criminal won’t affect anyone for years to come – oh, wait, I forgot about all of the troops who died because of his lies. But I guess the troops and their families are unimportant.
