Kingman Letter: Stop lying about Obama

If there is such a thing as "Christian" compassion (which I doubt), I wish the Obama-haters who submit letters and responses to the Letters to the Editor section would realize that Obama has two young daughters who most likely hear the same kind of garbage and name-calling from other children whose parents think the same way. I cannot think of one other president who has endured as much defamation of character as President Obama, calling him a Marxist, Communist, an America-hater out to destroy the country, a thug, foreign-born, not really our president, a liar, a Muslim who sides with and pals around with terrorists, that his ACA consists of death panels, and he's a Hitler-wannabe, or cartoons of him as a dead ape or a pimp, or pictures of him dressed as a witch doctor.

These lies have not resonated with rational people who know that these personal, disgusting and untruthful attacks on Obama's character are not true, and they have not worked in turning people against our president. And Obama is our legal president.

In a last ditch effort, the GOP has tried to suppress the Democratic vote while committing fraudulent registration themselves, favoring the Republican Party. Many of the new voter ID laws have been stopped in their tracks by the courts.

So, since all else has failed, the new personal attack claims our president is a homosexual involved in drugs and murder. I didn't think the Tea Party Republicans could stoop any lower than they already had, but I was wrong.

This is so far off the wall that it is laughable. I am glad to see that such disgusting personal attacks on Obama's character are not working, nor will they ever work.

To Respect the Position:

I'm not sure if you were directing your post to me personally, but I have the upmost respect for President Obama. I have defended him in every post I submit. It simply bewilders me as to how the GOP and Romney/Ryan can get away with all of the lies they have told about our president. It angers me that the TeaRepub's slanderous personally attacks on our president's character, by calling him every disgusting name in the book and spreading falsehoods about him, continue to get away with it. I did not like Bushs' policies (I don't think anyone did), I didn't like him lying to the American people about WMD's in Iraq and getting our soldiers killed in an unnecessary war. I didn't like how he allowed those Wall Street crooks to delve this country into a recession. I didn't like his two unfunded tax breaks. And I voiced many opinions about his policies that allowed these things to happen. But not once did I ever dream of calling a sitting president unAmerican, a Marxist, a Communist, a homosexual drug dealer involved in murder, a Hitler-wannabe, or any of the other disgusting things the right-wing fringe loons have said about President Obama.

I am one of those 47% that Romney absolutely detests, as I am retired and collect Social Security, as I'm sure many of us here in Kingman are, so I will be voting once again for President Obama, and anyone who loves this country and wants to preserve it, should do the same.

Ballot came in Friday, mailed back on Saturday and not one single Republican voted for.

Love Vote by Mail. No hassles by insane little old ladies challenging me at the Polls (happened both times I voted in person). No lines, no nonsense. You have until the 26th to request a mail-in ballot and avoid dealing with those who would like to suppress your vote.

Go Obama and the Democrats!.

Biden did not say that the plan did not have a Democrat co sponsor, he said no Democrat supports it now. And that is true. Ron Wyden has publicly stated that he does not support the plan.

As to the rest of the debate, Ryan tried to trot out the same old Republican lies and oops, Biden called him out on it and stopped it.

As to the Catholic part, you are now saying you know more about Catholicism than a lifelong Catholic?

“The Politifact that said Ryan didn't have a Dem on board on his plan but his name is Oregon Senator Ron Wyden and it was called the Wyden-Ryan plan? They presented it at the Capitol together.

What part of Wyden saying he no longer supports the stupid Ryan plan don’t you understand. Many times bills are co-sponsored and then one sponsor realizes the other is an idiot and withdraws his support – which is what Wyden did with Lil Ayn Ryan. Report all of the facts or be … well you know.

“Re-watching the debate, I found Biden's behavior strange and out of control.”

No more so that Willard the Money Hider being a total boor, talking over the moderator and not shutting up when asked to do so.

“Ryan gave excellent answers.”

On what? Afghanistan? Lil Ayn didn’t have a clue. On Social Security? Lil Ayn wants to throw seniors under the bus after admitting he sucked off the system for years. Lil Ayn Ryan demonstrated he is not ready for prime time. Which is not a problem, because he and Willard are done.

Been trying to do some fact checking? Can someone assist, please? Is it true that Bidden is a part-time vice president, and his real job is being one of Jeff Dunham's dummies, Walter? PS: Certainly old Joe would get a good laugh out of this! Yuk, yuk.

Don't want Obama, but some of you should research Romney's Vietnam War draft dodging (with the massive help of his father, which cost him the Presidential nomination in favour of Nixon). Here's a whiff - George Romney got his son off the draft roles based upon Mitt's status as a "minister" in France at the time. Mormon missionaries were NOT legally exempt ministers, and France did not allow Mormon missionaries into their country during those years. So....go do your own homework.

Interesting article on how the far right wng has destroyed their moderates which includes Reagan how funny! Did anyone but me notice during the Biden and Ryan debates Ryan tried to conjure himself as a Jack Kennedy, and got tongue tied at Bidens mocking him on that one, it was beyond funny but then some on the right wing have little sense of humor! You know the right wing is desperate when they sing praises for JFK, Jack Kennedy, Teddy Kennedy, FDR, Clinton etc. when they hated them with a vengence when they were alive! Oh well the only consolation us democrats have is GOP is only 32% of the registered electorate leaving 68% not! Now when I thank god unlike this bloggers comment on thanking god I thank him so few of the real crazies have their trigger finger on them nukes!

OK so many want to split hairs to make O look good. You're right-it was not a bunch of muslims at the WH-but O was with them. As for protocol and bowing to a Saudi Prince-Bush did not bow-he shook hands and kissed the cheek. And why are we still blaming Bush for anything? If someone was hired to do a job and could not do the job in 4 years-should he be kept on? If I (or anyone) were to say 'I'm sorry boss, I can't clean up that last guys mess, unless you let me try for 4 more years'. Meanwhile you go on countless TV shows and vacations, and spend the boss' $$ to do it, you or I would be fired.

"allegations" being the important word here. Get back to me when they are frog marched in handcuffs and photographed.

By the way, though you really overusing the huffpo links, at least you are not using Media Matters. You know, the website bankrolled big time by the actual, not "alleged", WWII nazi collaberator, George Soros.

To Linda Athens:

Christ did not die on the cross for me. If you want to believe that Christ died on the cross for you, that is your priviledge. I, however, do not believe he died on the cross for everybody's sins throughout the generations. If there really was a God and/or Jesus, then Jesus died by the hands of others who did not like what he was preaching or what he stood for. Just like the millions of people that Christians killed in the numerous religious wars they fought - where was that "Christian compassion" then?

I think thats all this trash talking is just a waste of time. And for all those hating on what his beliefs. . . Take it up with the US Constitution.

Wow this breaking story on the Koch billionaire brothers is interesting, allegations of imprisoning a employee illegally, evading taxes on $200 million dollars of profits, karma is a truly funny thing sometimes, all the money in the world does not always buy you immunity, much as the Casino mogul billionaire also a Romney fianciier is under DOJ investigation for bribery of foreign officials karma can even touch the rich and powerful!

I read so much posted here that we democrats are desperate, angry as a total, but fact is no political party is exclusive to its members mentality, feelings etc., this story of someone shooting into a Obama campaign office in Denver Colorado shows some one is angry, frustrated and feels the need to vent violence, guess not all the right wingers are so sure they have this election in the proverbial bag! Winners do not usually resort to violence only the angry who are losing or feel they are losing!

Politifact Chuckles?

The Politifact that said Ryan didn't have a Dem on board on his plan but his name is Oregon Senator Ron Wyden and it was called the Wyden-Ryan plan? They presented it at the Capitol together.

Many other facts they got wrong also including that Biden didn't know they needed security at Benghazi.

You do know the Benghazi compound had been hit twice this year? You do know the Brits Ambassador had an assassination attempt on him and they left....the Red Cross left...everyone knew an al Qaeda cell was in the area, their flags were flying over other embassys.

Ambassador Rice went out on 5 Sunday shows and lied blaming the deaths on Egyptian rioting, a mob that didn't exist and a video, when put on You Tube, 9 people actually watched.

The compound had cameras. The attacks were WATCHED in DC in real time. It was said right at that time it was a terrorist attack.

AND YOU ARE GOING TO TELL ME BIDEN KNEW NOTHING OF THE OTHER TWO HITS, REQUESTS FOR MORE SECURITY AND WAS COMPLETELY IN THE DARK ON THIS FOR DAYS AFTER THE FACT? You have got to be kidding. And you would WANT this man as VP, one step away from the presidency?

Plain and simple. Biden lied. He has dumped the entire thing on the State Department and I hear they are VERY, VERY ANGRY at his lies right now.

You know what happens when a big shot throws underlings under the bus? Someone starts whistleblowing!!

Re-watching the debate, I found Biden's behavior strange and out of control. Ryan gave excellent answers. Biden got the Catholic church info WRONG, and it's $200,000, not $1 mill Joe.

"pale in comparison to what Obama has had to endure."

Wow. yet another whiney comment on how poor Maobama is being picked on. You are beginning to remind me of a problem common to celebrities who have really obsessed fans.

But I suppose as long as you are don't drive a car and cannot fly or take a train due to your smoking habit.......obama is safe from being stalked by his #1 Kingman fan.

Maybe he is ridiculed because he is the biggest moron to be president since Jimmy Carter. after election day maybe he can join Jimmy in building crappy sub-standard houses. Or perhaps traveling the world to show support for dictators, like Jimmy.

The more he is ridiculed and vilified the more likely he will lose. That is what is getting you in a panic lately.

But I agree in part, maybe we should back off and by kinder to your muslim, marxist, bi-racial and bi-sexual POTUS. (Sarcasm, off)

Unlike the 30% who are parasites, easily that much here in Mohave County, who do not reap or sow, but merely whine and sponge of taxpayers.

Sorry of I am insulting your peer

Oh, i followed the link you provided elsewhere here to the HuffPo piece on the liberal/conservative divorce. While i am pretty sure it is a work of fiction, if not, here is what I noticed.

While "she" mentions his having a disposable income, which pretty well means he works, she never mentions her own work. It could be "she" is just a typical feeloading liberal. and he is well rid of her worthless a**.

Hey, maybe "she" will now discover wants to be gay. Don't worry, another dedicated liberal who posts here has clarified that woman (at least) are not all born gay. They can become it later in life.

To Just Wondering:

Nasty things are still being said about Bush because we still haven't fully recovered from the mess he put this country in, and because his and Cheney's lies were responsible for more than 2000 dead soldiers in Iraq, a war that never should have happened. Afghanistan war would probably be ended by now if Bush hadn't taken his eye off that war and put troops in Iraq. Still, the one or two names Bush may have been called pale in comparison to what Obama has had to endure.

Poor republicans are crying foul this morning, angry that Biden did not kow tow to Ryan and keep his tail tucked between his legs, and did not let Ryan do what Obama did let Romeny bully his way into a speech instead of debate, I watched the Obama and Romeny debate it ought to have been titled a one sided speech, Romney showed he had no respect for the moderator, much as he has no respect for 47% of Americans! Ryan merely lowered that number to 30% guess it made it more acceptable, but like many who post their angry posts here hateful people tend to reap what they sow!
