Kingman Letter: But wait - there's more!

Not long ago, Mr. Romney stated that he would get rid of FEMA and turn it over to private enterprise. Future scenario: "For just $49.95, we'll rescue you from your flooded home. But wait! There's more. If you are in the first one hundred to call, we'll include your pet."

Can you see the entrepreneurs coming out of the woodwork, as they always do in a disaster? These are Mr. Romney's policies. But wait! There's more. He'll privatize more than that. If you think that you are paying through the nose now for goods and services, wait, there's more.

People in New York and New Jersey are praising FEMA. Politicians are praising President Obama for his leadership. That's what this country needs.

Mr. Romney is a leader in salesmanship. We have all, at some time, encountered that guy who will say anything in order to sell you his bill of goods. Mr. Romney was born rich and then got richer. He hides his money in offshore accounts. Now that's a true patriot.

Romney reminded me of a used car salesmen, willing tell any lie to sell that lemon to a sucker! His ventrue vulture capitalism is still going to be there for him to profiteer at, he was never a real businessman who created jobs, he cost more and shipped more over seas than anything and if any jobs got created by his buying and selling companies it was merely fate and would have happened no matter who was buying or selling them companies! His entire business criteria was based on gutting companies, taking the fat and leaving the bones! The GOP bet on us middle class being to dumb to see this felllow for what he was a fraud, con man and venture vulture capitalist!

The only thing that bothers me about the deaths of terrorists anywhere, or their enablers, is if their deaths were too quick. But hey, keep cheerleading for them.

"As does yours. But I always expect liberals to root for the terrorists anyway. You are no big surprise in that regard."

You calling me a liberal is about as funny as saying you don't receive government checks....

Seriously, the loss of any life in a war concerns me, as it should you.

"Let me give you some advice. Look at your pension. You also have investments in Chinese companies. You also have investments outside the United States. You also have investments through a Caymans trust."

That has been proven false. The state of Illinois holds Obama's pension, their investors have the investments though the Caymans. Obama does not receive the pension yet, so has no say in how it is invested.

"AN stated "hundreds of thousands of wounded in the same sentence he told of his wrongly numbered number of U.S. dead. He clearly meant U.S. wounded.

Nice try at covering for him. You guys must be joined at the hip, or something."

That is indeed worthy of a chuckle, especially since in that same post you are saying you know what AN is thinking. Fortunately, I think too clearly to make that claim.

"Afghan deaths? To me they don't count at all, just like i said."

Well, that statement alone speaks volumes.

3rd Pres.. Debate
"Romney later explained that, yes, he understands that his blind trust has invested in foreign firms, including companies in China. Then he confronted Obama.

Romney: "Mr. President, have you looked at your pension? Have you looked at your pension?"

Obama: "You know, I don’t look at my pension. It’s not as big as yours so it doesn’t take as long. I don’t check it that often."

Romney: "Let me give you some advice. Look at your pension. You also have investments in Chinese companies. You also have investments outside the United States. You also have investments through a Caymans trust."

@Jerry Sandhill....well, Cornwallis referred to the Marquis de Lafayette as "the boy", being twice his age. But it was Lafayette who who led the first charge at Yorktown which ended Cornwallis' North American career. I judge Obama not on race but on performance, with a view towards America's dearly-bought culture and place in the world.

I hope your wrong and that the GOP can put their big boy pants on and quit acting like a bunch of spoiled sissy’s. Like I said, doing nothing isn’t the answer and will only make it easier for a Democratic dominated House and Senate in the future. Then what?
I agree there needs to be cuts to Welfare, Food Stamps, but not Medicare. Why should we cut a benefit to the oldest of society? I like what Oklahoma did, mandatory drug testing for Welfare recipients, this “NEEDS” to go “NATIONAL”. Social Security, people need to be educated first. It’s not an “Entitlement” that is for everybody, that’s a misconception. It is a retirement plan that you pay into, period! If you don’t have a work history and have never paid into it, you’re “NOT entitled” to it. I “agree” with you about Rehab. It’s not only a scam it’s also a copout and an excuse. I am a former meth-head and also what advocates call an “Alcoholic”. I didn’t go to Rehab, I just quit, 30 years ago. It’s a scam labeling addiction and alcoholism as a disease, but it fits the needs of those who rely on it for employment. “LOCK” them up and quit using Rehab as a revolving door for criminals! Success rate is hard to measure and bottom line is their willingness to effect a life style change. Again though, that’s a personal problem, “NOT” societies. But the following link will give you an idea of the success rate and why https://www.waaoda.org/treatment-directory.html As for the rest of the election, the Republican voters did not lose, the GOP failed to provide a viable candidate that could change the will of the people. Oh America spoke, “twice” now, GOP didn’t listen.

Well justanobody sr do you really think that the wars overseas were started by O??? I am sorry that you thought he would be able to fix a world wide economic problem by himself but here is a big bulletin for you - in four years time the Republicans have not done anything to move this country forward. They want to keep bringing up old issues such as birth control and assigning all sorts of asinine descriptions to rape. That doesn't create jobs, get people working or lessen the budget problem. I am sure they will just keep causing problems instead of fixing them,

Kick start the restart of our economy. Its on its death bed. They started with Sandy victums, kicking them out of shelters with no where to go. State run programs equate to you die, and I will live just fine. Now, define who is I? It's not you or me. It is Mondaynights TV Revolution brought to reality. Why, We The People gave up on America decades ago. Good luck, and keep looking back. The goverment is gaining on you!

Nope. not giving Bush a pass at all. Your words not mine. But hey, since many libs think Bush should be tried as a war criminal..... Better put obama on a plane to the Hague as well. How many civilians has his use of drones killed in Pakistan? LOL

Afghan deaths? To me they don't count at all, just like i said.

"Hey chuckles, does past bad behavior now excuse obama's? AN gave a total BS,. made up figure and i corrected him by actually raising the figure of total dead. He claimed there were hundreds of thousands of wounded...... More BS that I corrected. But I suppose that my comment is one he will just pretend he did not read, as he often does when called out for spouting BS.

So, are you saying that all those who died in Afghanistan while obama has been in office are not his responsibility?"

Not sure what you are trying to say about the hundreds of thousands wounded. Are you saying an Afghan's life is worth less than an American's life? Nice sentiment there.

As to the rest, I am not saying Obama should not own anything. You, however, seem willing to give Bush a pass on it and crucify Obama for it. I say both men are to blame for the loss of life, any life, and the wounded, any wounded.

Of course, you seem to have something personal against Obama as well. Wonder what that could be? Hmmmmm....

Before the end of the year, the obama regime will be requesting another raise in the debt ceiling.

I think the Republicans should just abstain from voting. Do not support it, do not oppose it. Let the boy and his party own it.
It's inevitable that the creditors like the bank of China will stop loaning money as it becomes obvious that it will never be paid back.

The new slogan will be "Greece is the word."

@just sayin: Relax, there will be no more outsourcing, The new Chinese business owners will see to that.

We heard Mitt's inane promises (or threats) and promptly voted for Obama. While I think Mitt tries hard to be a decent guy- let's face it- he is the friend only of the extremely wealthy in our country. He even told us he would cut taxes for the very wealthy- start another war and take away a woman's right to choose. And, Repub's wonder why he lost? Those are just a few of his "promises"...they don't seem to have been terribly popular, do they?

Voter suppression, lie upon lie about the president, and a Money Hider who could not tell the truth did not fool the American people, and for the first time in her hate spewing career Ann Coulter spoke the truth, “If we don’t run Chris Christie, Mitt Romney will be the nominee and we will lose.” (Feb 2011)

Congratulations America. We now return you to health care, equal pay for women, protections for women when it comes to health care decisions, the lowest tax rates since the 1950s and the end of two wars stated by the only convicted criminal ever appointed to the White House.

However, I am confident we are not done with hearing birther loon nonsense. Oh, wait, we’ve already seen birther loon posts.
