Kingman Letter: No 'change' here, thank you

At least the majority of voters in Arizona didn't vote for Obama!

It's the people in the eastern states who are ignorant and want more of "the change"!

Chicago is known for three things - pizza, gangsters, and corrupt politicians. And Obama sure isn't a pizza.

Maricopa county is still counting votes as I type! It is predicted Arizona is going blue soon, and one can see why, some folks just live in delusions of grandeur that they exist in some mythical majority which does not exist! Our nation is not right or left majority, but 32% republican, 42% democrat remainder independent and minority parties such as green, libertarian etc.! 50.1% is a mathematical majority!

@ Stop being a purist...
Note that both your answers to the euthenasia of the sick and elderly and animal control issues relate to lives that are already existing. The elderly and sick have a choice to make for THEMSELVES in your plan. Spading and neutering animals does not take lives, so I agree with you on that until they can come up with a safe pre-fertilization birth control pill for animals. But abortion also affects lives that are already existing. Pro-abortionists do not allow those growing fetus their choice. Abortion is murder!

Mike,

I'm going to show this letter to my friends from grad school that voted for Obama during our bourbon tasting tomorrow.

Notes of subtle oak, vanilla, molases and cRaZy!

Really though, you do know that most of the country, especially in places with universities and thought of any sort, make fun of Arizona, right? Well, maybe you don't... but thinks like the poorly thought-out SB1070, that internet "annoyance" bill or a dozen other things are why.

Get over yourself and figure out why the Republicans lost before you freak out. Heck, the Economist has been outlining why the GOP is failing over and over for months.

Read. Learn. Act. Don't just gripe like a grumpy grandma.

The vote count is still going on, guess this letter writer is still living in a delusion of grandeur drunk on that right wing snake oil! Our senate candidate is still in question did he win or lose to the democrat?

I really shouldn't acknowledge Stop Even Humane Murders ridiculous expansion of my comments but I felt I can not let such extreme mischaracterization of my comment to go unchallenged.

Euthanasia is not the same thing as abortion.

However since you want an answer to my position on euthanasia, I'll oblige. I am not for euthenizing old and sick. I am for laws such as Oregon's Death with Dignity Act.

Also, I am not "for "...euthenizing all the animals not claimed at the humane shelter." I am for working to limit irresponsible pet owners. I am for extensive spade and neutering programs and for strong regulations to limit the number of unwanted and abused pets.

"And you just refuse to acknowledge that the vast majority of U.S. soldiers killed in Afghanistan have died since obama took office. He could have ended our involvement there on day one of his presidency if he chose to. Guess what? Minutes after the last of our people have left that third world ****hole....... the terrorists will take the place over.

Funny how all the anti-war protests virtually disappeared once ovomit was elected, isn't it?"

Why is it you refuse to admit that W started both wars and together, more were killed on his watch than the current goober in chief?

“The infant being murdered didn't ask to be conceived.”

Who’s killing infants? Where did you get that story? Please provide a link!

@Lets Have A Country

There is an enormous difference between an abortion and young men and women going into battle. The infant being murdered didn't ask to be conceived. The members of the military chose to enlist knowing what the job entails.

For your information, it was “W” who started the war in Afghanistan and had “W” decided to put the resources into that war like Obama has, instead of settling a family score with Saddam in Iraq, then the war would’ve been over long ago. Instead “W” decided to start a new war while the other was still going on and once again Obama has had to clean up a mess that was left by “W”
Although she does have a point, the GOP talks of how we need to preserve life and no to abortion, but at the same time when that life that was saved from abortion turns 18. The GOP has no problems sending that person to get slaughtered in a meaningless war.

To the KDM online readers: DISCLAIMER

Although we seem to agree on being against abortion, PLEASE do NOT think I am on the same side as Frankly Speaking on most other matters. He seems to not know how to make his points without denigrating those with different views. I think he does it more as a malicious
mind game, rather than having any real
intent to change anyone's opinion.

You must be one of those college degreed intelligent people who left all their common sense and any spiritual up bringing at the college door!
We now have a president four another four years and administration who feel their positions give them the right to trample all over our constitution and LIE and COVER UP whenever it suits their agenda!!
As for abortion what gives any female the right to engage in sexual activity that might may end with pregnancy?? If you aren't married-KEEP YOUR LEGS TOGETHER!!! Just because abortion exist doesn't give you a moral right to behave slutty and then commit murder besides!!!
We now have THE ONGOING SAGA of THE OBAMA!!!!!!!!!!!! Just finding out after election Iran shot at a U.S. drone on Nov.1st,General Patreus resigned because of adultery. I can see we are in great shape for the next four years----HA

@Let's have a country forcing women

You are a big fan of murdering the unborn, I get it.

"GW"

Funny how you lib/leftists never mention, or want to talk about, the thousands of U.S.
soldiers killed, and still being killed, in Afghanistan, since obama took office. Can't make obama be responsible for anything, now can you?

@ Stop Being a Purist, and Try to Be a Realist

I wonder if you are also for euthenizing all the animals not claimed at the humane shelter? at rescues? I wonder if you are also for euthenizing old and sickly people? Your view on abortion amounts to the same thing. Life in all forms is precious and it is not OUR decision to end it, unless it is in direct self-defense.
---- Maybe instead of all this cloning and invitro business, they could instead promote adoptions to child-less couples wanting children.

@Stop being a purist.....

Using your logic, it should be A-Okay to kill children after they are born if they don't have your idea of an ideal life.......right, lib/leftist?

So now anyone who apposes murdering the unborn is a "purist"?

You people are astounding in your savagery.

I wonder if the woman who wrote that her and her husband couldn't respect one allowing the abortion option to be available respects GW who chose to send young men and woman to die for what is still unknown reasons? I guess we need to force desparate women to bore children they don't want so our "righteous" leaders can send them off to die.

Voice..., no one wants abortion. But is it humane to bring a child into this world where the mother doesn't want or is unable or even unwilling to care for them? What kind of a life do you think that child and mother will have? Again, no one wants abortion. However a clean safe healthy and affordable option should be available to a woman who finds it is the best option for her.

Amusing how some think Arizona is majority right wing republican when it is not so, in fact for those claiming Arizona voted predominately for Romney 630,000 votes remain uncounted as of today Thrusday! So guess much like Romney and Fox and Friends they been counting their chickens before they hatched!

It’s funny when you look at the election map and a majority of the counties that went for Obama are home to major metropolitan areas and all the counties that went for Romney are in rural areas. Maybe because major metropolitan areas are home to a highly college educated population, who are able to see things more clearly, and are able to make reasoned, educated decisions on the direction they want the country to go. Whereas the people who live in rural areas tend to be more ignorant with nothing but a high school education and see their lives as working at a dead end job for the rest of their lives. They sit at home and watch Fox News and believe them when they say Obama is to blame for their miserable lives. It’s also the same reasons why the GOP wants to continue cut education funding for higher education because an uneducated, ignorant people will always vote for GOP because they don’t know any better. Meanwhile, educated people are able to think for themselves and see the whole truth and what the GOP really stands for.

I'm an honorably-discharged Vietnam-era veteran and could understand some form of flag protest - not necessarily some forms of desecration - since the U.S. Government desecrated it by sending us off to kill and be killed based upon a pack of lies. Then we can fast-forward to their crimes right now in Mohave County and across the country, which in principle, desecrates the flag so many have died to honor. Some of those who taped the veteran to his flag could probably be described as punks, like a couple I met in Kingman.

@ Disrespect for country

I remember a similar where a fellow VET desecrated his flag, he was a member of the local VFW post. When they found out, they taped him to their flag in protest! It's not a Republican, Democrat, nor a Presidential Flag, It's "OUR" American Flag!
