Kingman Letter: Time to be grown-ups

Please, please, stop it. The election is over. Don't teach our children how to be poor losers, or bad winners.

We all want the same thing: A better America.

Encourage our Senate and Congress to work together for this goal. Teach our youth that united we stand and divided we fall.

@Me Too

Those anomalies happened both ways, sorry. Everybody has said the military ballots not received and counted would not have made a difference, so no issue there.

Lastly, quoting WND, you know, Weapons of News Destruction, makes your whole post laughable at best.

@Linda

You knew you couldn't offer one shred of proof of fraud coming from anybody other than Republicans, so now you feign outrage...truly funny.

As to the B/C issue, why do you even keep bringing it up when it has been debunked over and over?

“Incidentally, obama's win was a fraud - like his birth certificate.”

Wrong! The first still wrong after three weeks the second still wrong after three years and both will be wrong when you post them again next week. Give it up!

“That you are too afraid to delve into it and the fraudulent birth certificate says a lot about you.”

You mean Willard the Money Hider’s fraudulent birth certificate? God knows we tried to get the sleaze to produce it, but he never would – same with his tax returns.

“WND has reported …”

Is it really going to be necessary to trot the long list of lies told by WND – again? WND is the internet equivalent of FAUX News – “all lies, all of the time.”

Chuckles: ONE OF HUNDREDS OF REPORTS INCLUDING MILITARY BALLOTS NOT COUNTED.

A state lawmaker in Maryland has asked the FBI to impound two voting machines used in the 2012 election to determine whether there was a malfunction or something nefarious going on.

“I just feel it is my duty to try to get to the bottom of this,” state Delegate Kathryn Afzali told WND today. “We’re not making any accusations. The Board of Elections are good people. They have checks and balances … but we want to make sure everything is fair.”

She said a number of people contacted her after the Nov. 6 election to report that they pressed a touch-screen button for GOP candidate Mitt Romney, but the vote registered for Barack Obama.

WND has reported a number of first-hand accounts of similar anomalies during the election. One touch-screen technician reported that voters in another state were getting error messages on their touch-screens when they tried to vote for Romney.

Also, suspiciously, a number of precincts reported a 100-percent vote for Obama, and some even reported beyond 100 percent.

“My request [to the FBI] is … I want them to take these machines. Let an FBI computer expert analyze them,” she said.

She said that among those who contacted her with concerns were two officials, including a state lawmaker who personally experienced a vote machine changing his vote three times to the party whose agenda he opposed.

The lawmaker told her that his computer background left him confident that the problem was beyond a technical glitch, and he insisted that the election judge take the machine out of service and lock it up.

What world do you live in? The voter fraud is everywhere - absolutely everywhere.

That you are too afraid to delve into it and the fraudulent birth certificate says a lot about you. Like, geez, I better not go there because I CANNOT HANDLE THE TRUTH!!

I can no matter whose side it is on. Why don't you try to MAN UP like I do.

"Incidentally, obama's win was a fraud - like his birth certificate"

The only, and I say again, ONLY cases of voter fraud in this last election were from the Republicans Linda. And it kills you that you can't prove otherwise.

As to the B/C issue, you just can't let that dead horse go, can you? The only people who still believe that debunked nonsense are your heroes like Orly Taitz and Joe Arpaio. You know, nut jobs.

Randi:

I am totally in line with the thinking of George Washington. And you got the Republicans completely wrong. We are not RIGHT ENOUGH. When you are really to the right as Reagan was, YOU WIN!!

And really to the right is only in the feeble minds of liberals because the really right of today was exactly the way the Founders believed. Unlike you, I know because I have read much of their own words.

Incidentally, obama's win was a fraud - like his birth certificate. That explains no jubilation from it - just people planning on how to make it thru the plague kind of thing.

All life is precious to God, each tiny being made in His image.

The unborn are the most precious of all because they are the most preyed upon by those wanting to make a quick buck at the expense of a tiny, defenseless life made in God's image with no ability to fight back at all except for those on the right who defend them.

Read the word's of Jesus concerning hurting His "little ones" and you will see the answer to abortion.

Interesting how abortion mimics slavery. In both cases, neither had a say in their own life.

More interesting how the Republican party rescued the slaves and has life for the unborn in their platform as opposed to the death platform of the Dems who also opposed slavery with all that was in them in favor again, of the almighty buck.

Some posters have a screw loose obviously or they could see the truth put before them.

The Harris-Perry woman on MSNBC, whose second love after obama is killing the unborn, was screaming again today. She wants laws allowing murder of the unborn to be later and later in pregnancy. Her hatred for the defenseless unborn is demonic. Hard to believe women, capable of being Mothers could despise the unborn the way she does.

Today she spoke of the depression of poor women who are denied abortions. The truth, women having abortions go into depression. And most are never denied an abortion. 1 million a year.

The letter was very simple and clear, both sides need to work together. America has spoken and voted and the outcome was clearly decided. I'm sure Linda reads my comments and trashes them as I avoid reading anything she has to say. The GOP has lost what it use to have, a moderate party and went completely ultra right wing. Until the Party becomes one again you will not see the Presidency ever again. You can't trash immigration, Women's rights, Gay Rights and expect that in 4 years people will forget, not this time. I believe in the President always have, yet I'm a Liberal Democrat and Proud of my political beliefs. The problem is you have a Party that loves the extremists like Beck, O'Reilly, Coulter, Rush and only watch FOX news a company that completely gives you false information, it was clear this last election. FOX kept on saying how high Mitt Romney's percentages were, what they didn't tell you is they manipulated the numbers to keep the Conservatives happy, why not the truth? doesn't the truth work anymore? The Right has to work with the Left, but this is common sense and shouldn't have to be explained, it's called running our Country. When you sign pledges not to raise those who make 250k and above per year (as Ronald Reagan did) and pledge not to work with the President, how did it work for you? I won't gloat, but I told you all in 2008 that the President would be re-elected, I guess I did gloat and Hillary in 2016.

Not Surprised:

It's sad you gave no creedence at all to the words I actually said. You and others like you are exactly why obama is staying in office, and we lose more of our freedoms. That and the fraud in the election.

Congratulations! It would have been easier on us conservatives if you had just moved to a socialist country since that is either what you want and believe in (our Constitution be damned!) or you are just not with it enough to see what is happening.

Me, I cannot go along with a marxist/socialist who even voted against giving medical care to babies that manage to live through abortions. Obviously, that doesn't concern you at all. A sad place we have sunk to. You don't believe in God I apparently, who we were founded on?

How about this....

No judgement, no party politics, you just write a letter to the following:
Your State and Federal Congressperson
Your State and Federal Senator
Your Governor
Your President

And they all say the same thing:

Dear (Title) _________,
Thank you for the work you have done in the past representing me.

As one of your constituants, I would like to make a since request of you: that you prioritize the voters above party politics, that you put aside ideology or dogma in favor of sensible ideas based in fact, and that you treat the people you need to keep in you in office with the same respect that you give to special interests.

I have a second request as well, which is that you also ask your peers in ___[body of government]___ to adhere to this truly minimal standard. America is in a place where I know that my fellow voters and I are exhausted by the hate we are supposed to feel for friends and members of my own family so that you can protect me from the "bogey man" on the Right/Left.

We're all paying attention and we're tired of the games. Do something good for America and your constituants, not just for yourself.

Thanks,

[Your Name]

If everyone reading this got 10 people to send this to their elected officials, and they got 10 people to send this...and so on... within a month you'll start seeing results.

Democrats are unwilling to work with Republicans because the Republicans have bowed to the will of Satan. It is impossible to work with people who are willing to allow those with the least pay more to keep those with the most in car elevators and off-shore bank accounts.

A simple study of Republicans will show they are more attracted to riches and shiny bling than in whatever is most valued in our nation today – specifically jobs. It is more important for Republicans to interfere in the personal medical decisions of women than to see to it that health care is available for each American. The words of the last loser presented by the Republicans – Willard the Money Hider – prove his disdain (and that of his party) for nearly half of the people in this country. Study the true facts about Willard’s business practices that put thousands of American out of work, study his practice of hiding his money off-shore, study his reluctance to let the American people see his tax returns or actual birth certificate.

Read about Willard’s support of the Vietnam War as he pranced about a college campus carrying a sign in favor of the killing of our youth and then, when it came time for him to serve. his daddy bought him a deferment that allowed him to go to France, ride a bicycle around the country, annoy people by knocking on their doors and write messages in stone on the beaches.

After looking at the Republicans and their choice of candidates it becomes obvious that anyone who respects God could never support them and the American people stepped forward when challenged by billions of the devil’s dollars and said “NO!” to the Republicans.

I see you mentioned Rush and Hannity but not msnbc, cnn or any of the other purveyors of the gospel.
You should enlighten us on the lies of Rush or Hannity since you know a lot about them but being a liberal I doubt seriously if you listen or watch either one of these guys.
If you were to actually listen to Rush for even a day you might learn a thing or two and not be the hypocrite you sound to be.

Religion and Politics are like Oil and Water, the two just do not mix! Jesus will not be asking if your a democrat or republican on judgment day, no seems to me the bible says he will be asking you did you ignore the poor, hungry, naked those sick and in prison if so I know you not, and god the father will not even look upon your sin! Now who loves money above all else? Who speaks on it 24/7, one can speculate some will be riding them camels laden with all their wealth and riches trying to navigate through the eye of that needle, some will be walking till they come to the fork in the road, do they take the narrow and hard or the wide and easy one? Anyone who thinks their political beliefs will get them itno heaven nees our pity!

Really the GOP taking the loss well?

Not from the comments in this paper. Not From the knuckleheads calling for secession for states. Which BTW is not something any small group can achieve. Law's are in place to protect the union from that. Not from the predictions of hate and riots if the GOP had won. Really now. Dont you think the chance that happening would have made more sence in 2008?

I Remember not so long ago the GOP screamed " Get over it, You lost deal with it" to the Dems after a VERY Cloudy election centering on a family members governed state.

Hanging Chads...Right.

Im an independant voter. Sometimes I vote for one of the big two as well. However, America today is thriving on class separation. Thanks to far to many influences not to mention a "free speech media" that unfortunately includes many out right lies and hate from ALL sides

The downside of all the influences good and bad, right or wroung, incuding truth or lies lead to a public that can be easily manipulated by those who scream loudest and longest.

We've been taught to be divided by ourselves. Thats America's largest deficit that money cant fix.

No easy answer for Americas situation. WE have a Govenment that wont work for us. We have to agree on that first.

Yes, We all want a better America. Sadly, the only way to get a better America would be to start at the top and begin deporting all of the career criminals/politicians out of goverrnment.
Replace them with people who don't require a six-figure salary to do a part-time job. Heck, replace them with people who will do the job they were elected to do. Once we get the rats out of high government, we keep moving down until all of the politicians are working for a dollar a year, and they convey our wishes to the leaders, and not worry about robbing everybody to line their own pockets. Greedy industrialists would be next. kick them out of the country if they sell out jobs overseas. And, enforce the laws. If somebody is here illegally, give them a choice, get out, or get shot. Don't like our country or customs...get the hell out.

Not true at all. What Repubs want is a better America. What the majority of the Democratic base want is more "free stuff"!

Wise men of long ago realized that Democracy could only survive until the majority of it's citizens realized it could vote for "more free stuff". At that point freedom and democracy fades away. Well we have finally arrived at that point in our history. THANK YOU DEMCRATS!

I couldn't agree more Janice. It is time to move ahead and find areas we can agree on. Solutions are much harder to find than angry opinions. We have far too many on both sides of the isle. I think that we can agree that Congress is not doing the job that our forefathers envisioned. I think we can agree that there is far too much money in political campaigns. I also think that our system is broken because the media has changed from a news organiszation to opinion mill. We need to be a lot more diligent about facts. When the media introduced the news crawl accross the bottom of the screen they said it was to bring us breaking news. Anybody who has a tv knows that is not how it has been used. I suggest that the media start running the facts at the bottom of the screen while the programs are running. If the facts about what is being said on screen are not available run them later on other news shows. Far too many good people believe what they see on tv and are mislead into voting against their own best interest. The current system works well for the pundunts like Rush and Hannity but if they knew the truth would be printed accross the bottom they might just think about lying during their entire broadcast. The same should be true for msnbc as well as all stations. The airways belong to the public yet most of the money spent on campaigns is for TV adds. It is time for a real change that we can believe in.

We need Congress to pass a jobs bill. Our roads, bridges, schools, and hospitals need repairing. The construction workers would spend their pay at the local businesses, with the increased business the companies would hire more workers. And of course those workers would spend their money.

I would like to see Congress work on ways to help our country. No bills about peoples personal life choices, no grandstanding about Planned Parenthood. I don't want to hear anyone defend the "poor" 1% or the corporations like Exxon and General Electric. Our country has always done it's best when the middle class has done well. Congress needs to put those that vote before those that "donate" to their re election. If not, there will be a House cleaning in 2014.

Janice:

Repubs can't work with today's Dems because their beliefs are ungodly. You can't work w/those who believe in slaughtering the unborn. You can't work with Bozo the Clown who is spending us into oblivion when conservatives believe the opposite or his insistance on downsizing the military when we believe peace comes thru strength.

You need to study obama ardently, every last thing about him. His own words from his own books, how he cast his votes. Study the true facts of his fraudulent birth certificate and SS card. Look up obama homosexuality and read the words of Pastor Manning who knows.

Read his own words that he was a college Marxist, preferred running w/them, communists and socialsts. Read his words that he hates America because we have cheated and we are evil...that he didn't like his Mother's white side, thought the grandmother who raised him was racist. Check out that he ran solely with radicals like Ayers who blew up a federal building. Read that he finds our Constitution lacking as it doesn't push socialism - spreading the wealth.

No, it taught individual responsibility (self-government they called it) and giving from your OWN pocket to the poor.

Then you make a decision whether you can work with obama. As a Christian, I cannot. He is an obvious evil that needs removing. When good men do nothing, evil abounds. Hitler's last nail in the coffin of Europe was national healthcare. We are already there. You have few freedoms left.

I want the country I grew up in back. Jobs for those who want to work, sensible spending, bloated government gone, EPA regs that strangle businesses thrown out.
