Kingman Letters: Palmer throws down the gauntlet
Janice Palmer
Janice Palmer

Are you tired of John McCain and his utterings in Congress on behalf of the people of Arizona? I know a lot who are.

There may be a new candidate when he comes up for re-election - me - Janice L. Palmer.

I represent the seniors, low-income working people, veterans, women, the transients, gays, and oppressed ones here. If you agree, let me know. OK?

I want to help but I need to know if enough of you are interested enough to care.

Janice Palmer

@ Janet/James Palmer

"you show your stupidity"

At least we aren't trying to be something we're not, nor do we go out and run for a political office and think people will vote for us despite a hidden past. Not putting it all out there for people to make a fair determination is just like a lie. Now who's stupid. Before you respond, please get some education on proper English usage so you don't look so stupid in the public eyes.

@Ms. Palmer.....you should be ready for this level of abuse and worse, if you seriously intend to compete for McCain's seat. But don't take that as a discouraging word - just the opposite. Some of these critics here wouldn't recognise a New World Order rape if they.....well, how graphic should I be here? Very graphic, it turns out, if you (and they) only knew the facts. Anyway, have you lately read comments here from a couple locals who move in wide socia circles in Kingman? They wrote that for the most part, Kingmanites aren't like the perpetual critics here.

"you just gripe and moan. well, keep it up. you show your stupidity. we can't fix that. goodday!!!"

Way to win hearts and minds Janice. Yes, comments like that will certainly convince people on the fence about whether to support you or not. Yep, that will really help....

@Palmer

"did any of you ever do anything in your life to help people"

And we know you have done much helping of others in your life by fact checking your resume'......Oh wait a minute, we can't do that. LoL

"keep it up. you show your stupidity. we can't fix that. goodday!!!"

Yeah, because someone who does not know how to capitalize when writing, and cannot spell a simple word like disparaging is so much brighter than everyone else. I guess we are just not worthy of your greatness.

"i'll bet none of you even vote."

You're half right. I vote, but it will just never be for you.

LOL

Easy
Glad you thought my letter was so funny about McCain, but sometimes I kinda wonder about the sense of humor of liberals.
This country is in trouble and I take it seriously, it is a shame liberals do not and vote in some of the dumbest people.
A.N. Say's it just isn't fair that McCain has all that money and should give it to liberals...now that is funny!

Well, Janice, your letter was designed to gauge interest in your candidacy. From reading these comments it seems to me like there is overwhelming support for you. Go for it!

@FLS.....I think there should be consequences when authorities break in a citizen's home and steal their property (besides that citizen and veteran being arrested and extorted in the event). And I really do mean this, Frankie.

Capt. Nice's comment about McCain being a Democrat pretending to be a Republican. I never laughed so hard. No, he's yours, you keep him, we sure don't want him. His daughter we might consider.

@nnp.....

"there must be funds for those here who have been targets of Government crimes in this area."

As always, it is all about you........and, it now seems, money. Someone who lives by sponging off taxpayers looking for more free stuff? I'm shocked! Shocked I tell ya!

We'll give you a gazillion dollars, Phil. right after you win your case in court.

Does this mean indictments and arrests are right around the corner?

LOL

@Ms. Palmer.....it would probably be advisable to not include your feelings about aliens in any campaign literature at this time. As for those who have been abused by the system, my advice is to expect difficulties changing a corrupt bureaucracy, and to attempt redress for those instead who have been so abused. If Obama can hand out $60 billion for $25 billion in uninsured Hurricane Sandy losses, there must be funds for those here who have been targets of Government crimes in this area. Thanks, and at the first whiff of someone casting aspersions on your demeanor in any way, just remember two words which may help in some cases - "Nancy Pelosi".

Neph: Don't recall you ever suggesting that wealthy liberal democrats in Congress exempt themselves from the feeding trough as you have regarding McCain. Your singular attack on a Republican, without giving equal time for the hypocritical democrats (e.g., Obama, Reid, Pelosi, Clintons, Feinstein) demonstrates once again irrational bias. You would have more credibility in your comments if you applied the same reasoning to the liberal political leeches on the democrat side of the aisle.

Palmer: An endorsement by Neph is a great way to remain unelected for ANYTHING! Suggesting that you name him your campaign manager.

@Palmer

"1. i will give you a resume"

Good. Will it include your REAL name this time around? If no one can fact check it for accuracy it's worthless. That is pretty much what will doom any political aspirations of yours forever.

Ms. Palmer - your attempt at getting elected to the County Board was laughable at best. I was visiting and saw your signs. Being a current resident of Nevada I have researched your claims to having been in the NV Legislature and have even spoken to numerous friends who are and have been in the Legislature and you have not. Unless you choose to release your "former name" and start being truthful you have no chance against a long standing Senator. Your delusions of grandeur are just that delusions.

I very seldom agree with Frank Lee Speaking on anything. However, in this instance I have to completely agree. You can't just change your name, identity, and start from fresh as if the past didn't exist. It's part of your credentials no matter how you look at it. Lay it all out there and then let the people decide, if you're afraid to, then why would we vote for someone "scared" to give the people the truth.

Palmer
I know a State Senator who has held office three times in the House and three in the Senate and is going into the public sector and rightfully so.
He would make an excellent State Senator to replace John McCain, I don't think there is a smarter and more knowledgeable person in the State bar none
He is a Republican and has very strong standards and has more experience in one minute than obama has a year long.
What makes you think that you are qualified to take a federal Senate seat when you can't even get elected dog catcher.
This senator has never lost a race but has decided that politics and Washington is so corrupt that he wants no more part of it....what a shame as he could have been an excellant replacement for the McCain.....not you!

Janice Palmer has previously stated in political forums and meetings here while running for Kingman City Council and District 1 Supervisor that she is a former Nevada State Representative. According to the Nevada Legislature office and on their website http://www.leg.state.nv.us, there is no listing for a Janice L. Palmer or James L. Palmer (his name prior to legally having it changed while living in Nevada). Their records go back as far as 1861. Go to http://www.leg.state.nv.us and then click on General Information tab on left and scroll down to Legislature Information Sub-Tab. On the Legislature Information page, there is a tab on the right called Nevada Legislatures – 1861 to current. After completing a search for either Janice L. Palmer and/or James L. Palmer, it was discovered there has never been a Palmer serve in the Nevada Legislature.

I'd love to see McCain go, but be replaced by a real conservative, not another liberal like Kalif. has too many of. You look like you'd be Az.s copy of Ca.s Nancy Pelosi, a woman who has gone out of her way to destroy the USA as we used to know it.

Hello everyone! Ms. Palmer is running for the Senate and would qualify to get “money” from the state to campaign with. Perhaps her homemade signs will be in color markers. After all “we the people” are paying for it!

@Rick O'Shea

"Sorry, don't vote for liberal women,"

Well Rick, technically you could vote for Palmer and your record would remain at 100% on that score.

McCain needs to be tossed into retirement, but it certainly will not be Palmer doing it.

LOL
