Kingman Letters: Palmer throws down the gauntlet
Janice Palmer
Janice Palmer

Are you tired of John McCain and his utterings in Congress on behalf of the people of Arizona? I know a lot who are.

There may be a new candidate when he comes up for re-election - me - Janice L. Palmer.

I represent the seniors, low-income working people, veterans, women, the transients, gays, and oppressed ones here. If you agree, let me know. OK?

I want to help but I need to know if enough of you are interested enough to care.

Janice Palmer

But my overall feeling is that it was a mistake to move to Arizona, and that the overall culture here probably doesn't lend itself to an intelligent and progressive approach. In fact, some of the Progressives here strike me as very inconsiderate and uninformed people. But if you can take down some institutional criminals his area, you'll get my vote.

Great news....
At least for we in the Kingman area. At least the ugly hand printed signs will be in areas that will actually decide the election....which Kingman doesn't.

I do wonder how someone that can't win a County election thinks they can win a US Senate seat.

The aging middle class is so conspicuously missing from the groups you claim to represent. I feel so abused and rejected. (((Now, back to my struggle to overcome this overwhelming urge to thank you.)))

Ms Palmer

I salute your effort and determination to see our state ridded, finally, of the do-nothing, pathetic, senile, Lil John McCain. It is amazing how this loser keeps getting re-elected when he is proud of, and brags about, the fact that with over thirty years in Congress he has never done one single thing for the state of Arizona.

With his constant, nonsensical bloviating on the Sunday talk shows he has proven to be nothing more than a complete embarrassment to our state.

It was fun to watch him and Sheriff Boo-Boo shuffle along the border while muttering, “Finish the danged fence” when he knew all along the fence was being extended every single day and its construction is sucking billions out of the taxpayers coffers for something that can never be achieved – 100% border security.

He is also a hypocrite as he decries that Social Security is in deep trouble (yes, 20+ years from now) while he – with a net worth of over $100 million, a Senate paycheck closing in on $200,000 a year, a full disability (how is that possible?), tax-free U.S. Navy pension - sucks the maximum allowable from Social Security. What Lil John sucks from the program would fund three average Social Security recipients. Of course the usual suspects would whine that he has the right to that SS money. Yes, he does, but does he actually need it? The more Christian approach would be to forego the money based on his lack of need in place of “I can and I will.”

If you choose to challenge Lil John I wish you luck.

What we care about is that you quit trying to get in the public eye. Haven't your last attempts to get elected taught you anything? You can't win a local election and now you want to be a US Senator?

Why would "the transients" deserve representation? Do you mean transgendered persons?

Sorry, as long as you insist in hiding your past and not anwering questions about your resume', you have no more chance than your last attempt.

And hey, if you plan on making enough homemade signs to blanket the state by yourself, you better get busy

Palmer
It is nice to know that you represent the poor and all that, but I think the people need to know a whole lot more about you.
How do you feel about the fiscal problem the US has and what are your idea's for getting them corrected?
What is your stand on the second amendment?
All this touchy feely stuff sounds good but we are going broke because of it.
I'm no McCain fan and would like to see him go as he is a democrat pretending to be a Republican. I would like to see someone in there not afraid to stand up for his or her convictions and you never know where he is coming from.
Where do you stand on the illegal problem? Are you like my liberal sister who Say's we should open the borders to them?
I could go on and on but won't....let us know how you REALLY feel.
Do you think it unfair that the US is the number one super power? Or at least it used to be and how do you feel about the military?

I am against McCain but there is no way I could be for J. Palmer. She needs to take the hint that after losing on the last two, she doesn't have a chance.
