He came to Kingman nine years ago from Los Angeles, Calif.
He was learning the plumbing business.
Hoffman is survived by: his father, Dick Hoffman of Kingman; one brother, Rich Hoffman of Klamath Falls, Ore.; and two sisters, Pamela Hoffman of Boulder, Colo., and Patty Nelson of Pinion Hills, Calif.
No services are planned.
Cremation will be handled by Sutton Crematory.
John Weathers Jr.
John Weathers Jr., a Golden Valley resident, died Sunday Aug.
20, 2000, in Kingman.
He was 77.
Weathers was born Feb.
27, 1923 in Trickham, Texas.
He was a welder for Granite Construction of Fresno, Calif., where he lived for more than 40 years.
After leaving Fresno he moved to Texas and then to Golden Valley in 1997.
He was a member of Operating Engineers Local No.
3 in Fresno.
Weathers served in the U.S.
Marine Corps during World War II.
Weathers is survived by: his wife, Margaret Ann (Smart) Weathers of Golden Valley; two sons, Jerry L.
Weathers of San Bernardino, Calif., and Barry L.
Weathers of Golden Valley; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by son Larry N.
Weathers in 1986.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m.
to 7 p.m.
on Wednesday Aug.
23, 2000, at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m.
on Thursday Aug.
24, 2000, at Mountain View Cemetery.

Woods was born Feb.
27, 1937, in Wapato, Wash.
He worked in maintenance for the Kingman Elementary School District; he also had worked for Duval Mine.
He served in the U.S.
Woods is survived by: his wife, Kay (Maberry) Woods of Kingman; his parents, Roy and Wanda V.
Woods of Las Vegas, Nev.; two daughters, Kim Richhart and Kerry Curtis, both of Kingman; two sisters, Dixie Gregg and Mary Adams, both of Las Vegas, Nev.; brother Kenny Woods, of Las Vegas, Nev.; and five grandchildren.
Visitation and funeral services were held today, Monday Aug.
21, 2000, at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home with Rev.
Ken Reeves officiating.
Burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery.

Brockway is survived by: two daughters, Ruth A.

England of Phoenix; two sons, Roy O.
Brockway of Kingman, and Charles V.
Brockway of San Diego, Calif.; 28 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She also was active in the VFW Auxiliary of Post No.
1432 in Salina and American Legion Post No.
58 Auxiliary in Topeka, and was a life member of the Loren T.
11 DAV Auxiliary in Salina and the A.A.R.P.
Dennis is survived by: her husband, Earle W.
Dennis of McPherson, Kan.; a stepson, Earl W.
of Palm Harbor, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Susie Walker of McPherson, Kan.; a brother, George W.
Hamilton of Kingman; two sisters, Cordelia Becker of Mt.
and Alice Clark of Forsyth, Mo.; two step grandchildren and one step great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Carrie Hamilton.
There will be no visitation for Mrs.
Inurnment will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery in Wacker, Ill.
